  1. Is this thing real? Lools like a crop dusting cessna with friggin' bombs attached to it!
  2. Release day 10th November "Excellent! Excellent! Ah. The anticipation is palpable. Isn't it?"
  3. MiG I-320. Luckily, only 2 were built smile :D
  4. This is highly interesting! It could mean that at least one of the not-yet-named projects shares some systems with the Tomcat, like the AN/AVG-8 (F-4B) or a predecessor of the AN/AVA-12 HUD. Just some random early morning thougths :)
  5. Sorry, a bit OT, but have you noticed that since today's update the ground effect is barely noticeable during the flare? There was a nice cushion of air pre-update that i could rely on, so you can guess i was quite shocked when i slamed her onto the tarmac last landing!
  6. Van Halen + Phantoms = awesomeness
  7. It took me a while (5days), but it turned out to be a combo of shifted alphabet code, hexadecimal code and backwards alphabet code and other stuff: rdcufsgxqa7b3?...qcbterfwpz7a3?...oazrcpdunx7y3?... 5ce8eb3d41382484a7f41491f6f07dfc3253d06a32acfe8e5dfa0173de9183ef... -. --- .... .. -.. -.. . -. -.-. --- -.. . .... . .-. . 8. Hey guys, since the update, I've encountered this bug twice and I've seen it happening to another guy over at the VA server. I fired her up as usual, did the usual visual rudder inspection (stick moved freely in the pit, rudder movement visible) and didn't touch the trim, but when I tried to rotate at around 270-280km/h, nothing happened as if the stick was stuck! I continued to plow down the active rwy and eventually had to eject. Can anyone confirm this behaviour?
  9. Seems like there are quite a few Metal-heads around here! Nice

    Ribs for....

Now I get it! There will be an announcement in the coming days: Development for DCS has been cancelled, 3d printer will be required for the LS Mig-21. Print it out, hop in and launch it from your backyard!
  11. So this is what being chained to a medieval torture machine must have felt like...
  12. Steam user reporting in! It is still possible to use modules bought at ED in a steam install. I updated my steam dcs to 1.29 via steam, purchased & downloaded the F-86 at ED and the installer automatically found my installation patch steam/steamapps/common/dcsworld. Installation went smoothly, of course you get a message that the dcs updater can't be launched. I fired up DCS via steam, set up a flight, and while loading the activation window appeared. Entered the key, hit activate and flew!!!
  13. Could you please specify this a bit? For example, i purchased BS2 at ED and was not able do activate via steam. I dloaded the ed installer and was able to activate it as if i was using the non-steam dcs.
  14. You're not able to migrate the keys directly into steam, but afaik it is possible to install and activate modules with the ed-installers into the steam version like you would in the normal ed version.
  15. So I take it as a hint that an A340-module is next? :detective: (...The virtual pit is looking great btw)

    DayZ

An ED-community DayZ-group, sounds like fun, Mav! Shoot me a pm with your steam-name if you like. I wouldn't be much of an addition communication-wise, I understand english perfectly well, but when it comes to speaking, well, my brain just stops :D (plus I am the prototype of zee german accent) But I know my way around in Chernarus and I can provide sniper support.

    DayZ

I've been playing DayZ since the mod days rather extensively, but the frustration about bugs ("Watch out, a ladder!", the "doors of certain death"...) killed the fun for me. After a pause I recently started playing again, most bugs have been ironed out fortunately. But again, it can get boring once you've found the better gear. Nothing to do after that, zombies aren't a threat, no cars or base building yet, PvP is basically the only thing. I haven't seen any hackers in the SA yet, but a team of 4 including me was shot by glitch abusers who managed to glitch under the floor and shoot us from the void, frustrating stuff... The server idea sounds great, I'd pay it a visit for sure!
  18. :megalol: A Bayern-fan, I presume
  19. Praise the sun!!!
  20. You guys are hard to fool :) It's a Su-9 I'm doing some in-depth reading about russian aircraft currently, it's always interesting to find aircraft I haven't heard of yet!
  21. To keep you guys busy while we are waiting: can somebody tell me which -21 version this is? ;)
  22. (disregard)
  23. Thanks for the update, wish you guys all the be best on the finishing straight!
