  1. Amen, IMO it's the very first thing that must be corrected from Zeus
  2. I'm experiencing something like this Look at 1:55 forward, the circle never appears on the snake, although the target is close and g's are low. And the guy can even achieve a gun kill, how is that possible? If he had brake the radar lock, i'm pretty sure that the target would be at the 300 m line. But at the same exact position, the circle isn't there with a radar lock.
  3. The problem is that if you pull above ~2.5 g's , the gun reticle disappears constantly at the bottom of the HUD . So you have to come very close to the target, and even then if you pull even medium g's and make lead turns, the circle will appear momentarily , travelling very fast (due to the lead turn / closure rate to the target) along the snake line, making it difficult to aiming precisely. Yes, the M2000 has 30mm guns (in comparison to the 20mm guns of the f-15), but I don't know if the current implementation of the lead angle is correct or excessive . Here are some hud tapes (watch especially the second one from 1:16 - 1:47 I cant' do that in the game).
  4. +1 for the Tornado.
  5. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3396648&postcount=201 According to Baltic Dragon (who did the manual for Razbam), avionics updates are in queue.
  6. Attatched are 2 screenshots I captured within 2 - 3 seconds in MP 5 min ago. Negative value, target closing in (the 0.7 distance is the first picture, the 920 m the second as you can see form the event list on the left side). Happens all the time
  7. I have very often wrong closure rates during dogfights (don't know if this is CCM related). As an example negative values while i obviously close in to the target. So i don't rely on the indication but try to determine visually the situation.
  8. Our Air Force operates both the F-16 (Block 30, 50, 52+ , 52 +Adv) and the M2000 (E and -5). Had the opportunity to talk with several pilots of both planes about their combat performance. The conclusion (that i think can be transferred also in the M2000 vs F-18 discussion) was that 1) You have to compare similar variants of both types. And 2) Every plane has an advantage in specific speed / altitude regimes. The goal is to bring the fight were your airplane operates more efficiently.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bYolM_6SJk In this video (see from 1:00 forward, where it's not a rafale) an M2000C kills an F-18. Doesn't mean anything of course but, anyway, it's the only hud tape available for a dogfight between the 2 planes.
  10. Arming / dearming the ejection seat is also missing.
  11. No issue. Above 300 kts the plane is trimmed to maintain 1G. Below that its AoA trimmed. So you have to trim the aircraft by yourself. There are 2 options 1) manually trimming with the hat switch on the stick. 2) Use the autopilot / autopilot disengage button (the aircraft is designed to be flown this way). You activate the autopilot, if you want to make a turn press the AP disengage button (in the real stick it's a trigger in the front side that is designed to be depressed everytime the pilot graps the stick, you have to map it to your hotas), release the AP button and the plane is automatically trimmed for that speed configuration.
  12. Look at razbam's facebook page. There are posted '' DCS2.5 M2000C RoughMet(PBR) texture upgrades in progress '' pictures. In the comments razbam stated that the cockpit will be updated too.
  13. In the following videos there is a slight delay in the hud symbology change. 2:34 0:57 When a target is locked in magic mode, the inner circle appears first with the small intercept square in the middle, after ~ 0.5 second the second TIR outer circle comes in and onle after that the square starts moving (I think the computer needs some time to calculate the intercept path). Pure cosmetic feature and don't know if our simulated Mirage 2000 C - S5 has the same delay. But some small details like these could be the finishing touches.
  14. And Zeus told that the Mirage will benefit from the new A/A radar code developed from ED. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3331288&postcount=65
  15. You could add the s530 TTI bug https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=199346 the CCM boresight bug https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3178518#post3178518

  17. Is it possible to install 2.5 in a separate new Hard Disk? Will i have any activation problems with my installed modules? If I understood it correctly, 2.5 will be a new installation and some files will be copied directly from the currently 2.X version, even if they are located in a different HD, right?
  18. Does anybody know if the circle has any (range / bearing?) functionality, or is it a simple indication that police mode is selected?
  19. Thanks!
  20. From razbams facebook :'' Okay folks. I am back on the ring after our holidays vacation. Today I will get myself up to date on Harrier and Mirage stuff so I can schedule the work''. I hope we will see soon some work on the avionics front!
  21. Perhaps some information about close formation flying could also be added in the manual (if it's not already done yet). The correct position for the Mirage 2000 is the following: The wingman must align (in his sight) the navigation wingtip light with the wing duct of his flight leader and maintain the nozzle position view (Attached is a screenshot). The information is coming form an old video, captured during real HAF Mirage 2000 pre flight briefing. In this video the instructor said, also, that in order to maintain proper position, very small and gently inputs on the stick and the throttle must be done, he emphasized that throttle movement should not exceed 1% rpm, and is performed by ''pushing'' the throttle lever rather than ''moving'' it. 22. Two screenshots demonstrating proper gun aiming (with and without a radar lock). If you want you can perhaps incporporate them in the respective chapter. Screen_180107_010611.rar Screen_180107_011449.rar
  23. I would prefer the T-2E, so much work was already done from razbam, you can do to a-g attacks and is relative easily to develop (no complex radar / armament / navigation system included).
  24. Have bought the Basic Flight Campaign in the past (have the suid, key and password numbers). The campaign does not appear in the campaign section and it's not listed as purchased on the module manager (if i remember correctly i bought it directly from the creator). How can i install it ?
  25. So if the wings cannot produce a lift for a 11g turn, a full aft stick will always command an 31AoA turn, no more - no less , right? I know that this is an emergency tool, have talked recently with a real 2K pilot and he told me that it's used to avoid a ground crash and if a 11g turn is performed, the aircraft would be grounded for inspection. Now, regarding the ''normal'' 29 AoA limit, is this a 1g flight limit like the 25AoA in the F-16? http://www.f-16.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6178 What exactly commands the stick deflection (till the elastic stop) in the Mirage 2000, AoA or G's?
