  1. Would take the MLD for one Reason, thats the RWR. MLD use the SPO-15, SPO-10 from the MIG-21 up to the MLA is realy outdated not that usefull against 3th Gen Fighters.
  2. Don't think getting to MIG-23 M or later Version (MLD ofc) should be not more difficult then other DCS World Aircraft. The MIG-23 was used in many Countries, including the Ex Warsaw Pact Forces they not bound to the legal Issue of Russia. But straight up MIG-23 MLD only Bulgaria get in service with the Full MLD with aerodynamic Improvements. Russian rebuild a AIM-7 as K-25 but was inferior to the R-23 predecessor of the R-24 in the End should be not less cable of the later AIM-7

Understand your Point, but flying in these Conditions with the MIG usual suicide when you fly alone spotting against the Ground is Impossible and at good weather Conditions to Spot the F-5 is a huge Task and starting an Turn fight is not that successful. After I ask this in the Chat how other Player deal with it in the MIG, the Reaction was like a 6 in the Lottery you score a Kill. But looking forward to the other Missions like the Server
  5. Is there any Deeper sense of the Weather on the Cold war Server? Cloudy dark Weather where Spotting a enemy is poor luck?
  6. MK-103 ist das selbe Kaliber wie MK-108 beides 30mm.... MK-103 ist z.b. in der HS-129 verbaut zur Panzerbekämpfung und FW-190 unter den Flügeln als Zerstörer, aber viel zu Groß für ne 109... Er meint wohl eher das MG151/20mm als Ersatz für die MK-108... K4 mit 20mm MG151 gab's aber als Hauptbewaffnung für die K4 war die 30 mm vorgesehen, deswegen werden wir wohl eher in DCS auf eine neue 109 Version mit 20 mm warten müssen. Die MK-108 ist zur Jägerbekämpfung mit ihrer langsamen Mündungsgeschwindigkteit Kadenz und Flugbahn eher eine schlechte Waffe.

  9. Little bit late but some tips, between the cockpit wall and the collective are the Engine Conditions Lever (ECL) set them from auto to Take off Power. Afterwards take off it produce enough power you can stay 3m over the Ground in the Ground effect and start carefully to move forward and climb fly a loop around the House, Speed=more Lift and you are to able to climb over the Hill without cheats

Have some awkward Problem with the Gazelle controls, I Fly on the right side in the Pilot Seat with Microsoft FFB Joystick the Gazelle, and use for the for Viviane Commander Seat a different Joystick to command the Viviane Sight. The Problem is I can control the Viviane with both Sticks and they interfering each other, epically the FFB without centring. There is no double assigned of the axis like you see in the Picture, but have no clue how I can disable the FFB Joystick not to move the camera anymore.
  11. When you climb away from the Burning House that First Mountain direct in Front of the Burning House, on the other side of the Mountain Top 4 km away ca. from the House downwards the Hill would say more like 105 Degrees there is the Trigger.

When you embark the Troops, on the other Side of the Mountain not far the first Valley in direction Polkova there is a Trigger but rather small when you hit him your Wingman got attacked by Infantry, remember is more slightly left on the Mountain Top downwards. When you don't hit the Trigger nothing happens, the Mission continuous with out success. Need quit some Time to get all working as it should be... Hope I can help..
  13. Clipped Wing is ok for MK14 the Bird is overall looking like a bodybuilder on steroids.. But doesn't like it on early Spit.. @Krupi Most time in History great engineering is sadly linked only to one Person that could be never archive this on his own was only the lead of development Team and the names was used as Propaganda and get connected to the specific Aircraft til present day, or can you tell out of the Mind how is working with Kurt Tank and Willy Messerschmitt or Mikojan for the MIG Series as Hero of the Soviet Union.

The Radar of the MIG is also in MP Scenario down low questionable, because it only emitters your Position to the much more cable F5 RWR before you getting a look on him and attrack even more enemy players. Fly mostly with the Radar on Stand bye Mod and use also MK-1 Eyeballs to emitter nothing, got also insane Kills with Radar Guided Missiles in the Radar Beam Mod because you give the Enemy mostly no reaction Time with the small Radar Beam... Thats the Russian Dogfight Modus :D

  16. FragBum this is happen when you lost your Tail, on take off without Tail the Gazelle jumps to the right... Randomly the Tail is broke up currently behind the Cockpit on Spawn.
  17. Nevada und Normandy sollten auf dem selben Level der Entwicklung sein, und beide normal unter 2.0 laufen. Normandy Karte ist von der Entwicklung jetzt auch schon gute 5 Jahre in Arbeit also wahrscheinlich sogar noch älter als die Nevada Karte, nur die Kaukasus Karte die noch unter 1.5 läuft braucht ein Update das irgendwann alle Karten dan 2.5 fähig sind. 2.5 bringt noch neuerungen in sachen Shader und Lichtberechung. Man sieht der Spity an das Sie neuer ist, mehr Polygone verbaut im Außenmodel aber im Cockpit sind beide hervorragend. Was die fliegerischen eigenschaften angeht musst du für dich beurteilen was dir besser gefällt, 109er hat die beste Steigleistung im Spiel und die besten allround eigenschaften aber dafür auch keine besonderen Stärken und extreme Stickforces also Widerstand am Höhenruder was Boom and Zoom extrem unangenehm macht. Spitfire sehr sehr gut im Kurvenkampf durch ihre großen Flügel, aber langsamer als 109 und 190er. Alle Ruder haben im großen und ganze keine Stickforces aber dafür auch ein sehr zappeliges Flugzeug braucht ein rühiges Händchen zum Fliegen. Force Feedback Joystick ist für DCS WW2 sehr empfehlenswert. Und unter 180mph macht der Merlin Motor recht schnell schlapp durch die schlechteren Kühler im gegensatz zur deutschen Konkurrenz. Was viele Spitfire Piloten als sehr unangenehm empfinden das die meisten sich nicht auf Dogfights einlassen und einfach davon fliegen. DCS hat noch sehr rudimentäres Damage Model der WW2 Flugzeuge soll mit der Normandy Karte kommen. Singelplayer und Kampagnen sind nicht wirklich da wegen der fehlenden Map.
  18. Normandy läuft unter 2.0 wie Nevada auch, 2.5 kommt erst wenn die Kaukasus Map auf das Level von Normandy und NTTR geupdated worden ist somit 2.5 dan die lang ersehnte Singel Installation wird.
  19. By the way Dimitriov did you plan future Mission Content for the Gazelle when your able to speak about it currently? Some Singelplayer Mission, with more then static Trucks would be appreciated..

Think Gavagai is revering to the C3 Fuel injection what increase low level Speed was first only allowed to use up to 1000m, and introduced for the G Series but in Normandy Time line both series the A8 and G get the C3 emergency injection so there is no difference after Testing allowed to use C3 in any conditions... The Engine was designed as Bomber Engine for low/medium altitude, so the Engine never get some good altitude performance out of the underdeveloped Charger so the performance for the Jabos was the same, only the increasing drag slow them down... There was some increase of the raw power output by solving the troublesome Engine exhaust but that effect both A and the Jabos... Only the A9 use different BMW 801TS Engine...

  22. Would be say the way from A to a G/F is not so far, but the flight model would be affected becaucse the under Wing Bomb Racks and up armored for greater Pilot and Engine Protection..

Juli the Me-262 was one of the Worst jabos from of the entire WW2 conflict, first Bomb load trough the increasing Drag bring the Me-262 back in Speed Range of the allied Fighters and usually you don't fly on 10000 meters as Jabo... Second one the Turbines was insane vulnerable to Ground Fire, and last the Trim change suddenly after drop of the Bombs to Tail Heavy so immediately that overstress the Airframe and some of them come Back with cracks in the Wings... That's why some of the Aces got degraded to cleaning Personal after they decided to tell the good dam Me-262 is not a Bomber

It's currently dont be that usefull to fly day attacks with the limitations of the AI, the HOT is lunching slightly upwards you can hide behind buildings and Hills where Hill defently working at the best, only climb enough your Viviane Sight have vision lock the Target and fire but littel bit Training for the best altitude and cover for unseen Fire Solution..

MIG-21bis is one of the first Sovjet revisited layouts, older MIG Generation the switches was not in order and all over the Place, as example in the BIS you have your Navigation equipment on the left, Fuses all on the right... MIG 21 have many switches thats correct, but the start up is not more complex then a F-5 as example. And the Radar is easier to operate as the F-5 ones, because you dont have to scan manual the Horizon... Would say from the dogfight cababilty the MIG is like 190 against P-51, even the MIG provide much more powerfull weight to Thrust Ratio then the F-5, the MIG dont have to fear the F-5. Like Soviet much more then anything else (Jet Area), and i never come in contact with the Russian Country :)
