  1. Hope the Tomcat is not flying only with static deployed Wings in DCS around , but we should take what we get when you don't like it go to the next we should properly happy M3 is still here and develop something...
  2. Ramped up the Su-25 this Weekend again after a long time, was quiet fun again... The Manual on the Su-25 is rather bad compare to DCS Planes, need quiet some Time to get all working as it should be again... Rockets and Missile deploy working with the best Results in a 30 to 40 Degree Dive, with Laser Messuring activated you get a Red Light in the HUD for optimal Firing Distance for a good Spread of the Rockets but not to much... For Laserguided the same dive angel is important the laser can Track your target and you have enough room for corrections should be not to deeper then 30 Degree in a Dive and the Speed is constant not overspeeding the Plane and enough time for aiming Proberly# You can also extend the Speedbreaks for more aiming Time, but with the Sniper AI more speed is live, dont overfly your target... On 3000 Meter over the Target you can not dive in 30 Degree angel so should be self explaining after some Time how you could archive this... The Cluster Bombs working also effective with 30 Degree Dive angel from 2000 meter and singel drop, RBK-500 Cluster Bombs in the dual drop modus are realy uneffective they explode on the same impact point..
  3. SPO-10 you can estimated the Thread if it Ground or Airborne Radar by wiggle the Wings in the MIG-21 no Joke... how it works is a other Story.. There is no indication of the Signal Strength to estimate the Distance, 4 Lamps give only rough course of you Threat 90 Degrees cover in witch be can either Ground or Airborne Target.. When you got looked there is no way to tell from where because all 4 lamps now constant flashing.. And overall a bad design compared to the Western Fighter as Man Machine interface, the F-5 RWR is there light Years ahead...
  4. Would be prefer the MLD because also the Airframe got upgraded from the M Version also and only the real Production MLD's get Airframe revisiting... What is unbelievable bad in the early Soviet Fighters is the RWR, it is much lacking behind western fighters, first the MLD get competitive electronic Suit with SPO 15 Dogfight modus in the Radar and true BVR Range..

  6. About the NPP Button it's had something wrong in my Mind it's Gyro stabilized Systems that's aligned to the magnetic Heading...right.. But the overall RSBN System is integrated for Bad Weather approaches, as it work currently in DCS on all Approach Notes and Radio Calls are send out with magnetic Heading, and MIG is flying around with True North sounds not really fail safe for a supersonic Jet... Probably it is same for Caucasus but there was when I Remember only around 3 Degrees that's why it work far better here.. But thanks for Explanation
  7. I was flying the Single Player Intercept Mission, afterwards I try to perform VOR/RSBN approach to Groom Lake so just the follow happen... Usual in General Aviation the Runways called out in Magnetic Heading in this Case see the Attached Picture Nevada Groom Lake had something around 335 Degree minus 13 Degree Magnetic Variation we get something like 320 Degrees as me the Map and Tower Show... The NPP Correction Button as I understand correct the deviation from Magnetic Field around the Aircraft... So as I Dial in 320 Magnetic Course for runway as it work fine in Caucasus, the MIG show me on the Runway in Nevada the true Geographic Course what is impossible because you can not dial in anywhere the Magnetic variation..... So this not working as intended or I miss something?

  9. My last Thread where I asked why Evreux is a Temporary Airfield without paved Runway as it should be got moved without any comment to DCS World Wish Thread so good luck...   10. After I have seen some nice Pictures recently on FB, wonder how will the MIG-19 perform against F5 as example, is MIG-19 competitive in Turn Fight with Thrust to Weight Ratio constant turn Performance or more in direction MIG-21 with more Thrust and less Turn Performance as Interceptor?
  11. Test is Dated around April 1944, so it can be only A Version possible, with 42 inches 1,42 Ata is somewhere around A3 to a early A8, the Wing loading and Cross weight are to high for an A3-4 to light for a A7-8 is more would say test performed against A-5 to A-6..
  12. German Airfields that played active role are outside of the DCS Map Area. Because when you look back in the history, all Luftwaffe Airfield in Range to the Landing Campaign are heavily punished months before. That's why most of the Fighters rethreaded Land inwards. On the 6 Juni 2 Fw-190 strafed the Landing Beach that was all, with a Radio Call "that's the most glorious Day of the Luftwaffe":D
  13. Sometimes agao i search Google what Airfields was occupied by the Germans after Normandy Invasion. So far only Evreux as Doom Mentioned was occoupied with JG 3 and JG 5 Squadrons, but they withdraw very fast around 1 Month only there because of heavy Bombardment by the Allies. All other German Squadrons outside of the Map rember so far around Paris, Le Mans some Squadron. So Evreux is the only Airfield for the Germans after D-Day.
  14. When you look the 109 now on the Normandy Map the Muzzle Flash is complete out of Place sitting ca. 50 cm in Front of the Guns, thats why you dont notice this compare to the 190. In the P-51 Video you can see barley the Flames when the Plane is on the Ground...
  15. Not any rely able Sources but so far Wiki and one Photo shows the Luftwaffe lay down two concrete Runways 1943? Any one future Information these? So far in DCS it is also a SMT Track kind of strange for the German Airfield? A Messerschmitt Bf 109 at Évreux-Fauville Airfield in 1943

    Mig-21 Landung

    Die inerta Rollrate wurde überarbeitet, hat es nicht mehr in den Patch geschafft und die Rollrate war sofort 100% bei Stick ausschlag was nicht sein sollte. Die MIG landet sich find ich besser wie früher, sollte nur konstant drauf schauen nicht unter max 320 zukommen sonst fälllt sie wie ein Stein und Springt

  18. Die Bo-105 hat kein FLIR nur optisches Visier, die Vorgänger Version der in DCS dargestellen Gazelle hatte das selbe Waffensystem aus Hot2 und Tag-Visier. Die Franzosen rüsteten die Gazelle mit dem Viviane und HOT3 auf Nachtkampfähigkeit auf während die deutschen sich entschlossen auf den Tiger zu warten.
  19. Ich freu mich auch schon rießig auf den Bo-105, von der Ausstattung auch in etwa wie die Gazelle PAH1A1 mit RWR, einzig keine Nachtkampffähigkeit das FLIR fehlt. Hoffentlich tut sich noch was mit der KI, Tagangriffe fliegen mit der HOT in der Gazelle schon fast unmöglich. Laut Fragger kann die BO-105 zumindest die HOT-3 (4300m) auch verschießen auch wenn die nie in der BW zum einsatz kahmen. Nach HOT-2 ist normal schluss für die BO. (4000m)
  20. My Point was you don't make out of the P-51 a Dogfighter even with 72 HG, would be struggle still against the 109, with the P-51 4 tons Combat weight. Currently right flown Mustang is untouchable by the 109 because even when they dive from same altitude slightly nose down away you never catch him or fly straight with enough separation. More so found the Spotting System more a handicap for the P-51 while you can never chose engage or climb first because it is always to late. The only Plane how struggle with the 72 HG Mustang is FW-190 with losing every advantage, and Fuel war starts again about C3 Fuel. This time for Luftwafflewhiners
  21. What is the difference between Top Speed of the 109 and the P-51 68 HG in DCS?
  22. Right next in front of your Throttel beside the Flare button, is a small switch for emergency Afterburner. Burn more Fuel but was rare used because the life Time of the Engine is going down. But thats doesnt help when the F-5 decide they dont follow up and wait on the Ground where you cant see them.
  23. With the Missions currently in Deep Black surrounding coverd with Clouds, its pointless to dogfight the F-5. You are unable to spot the F5 against the Ground, Turn Fights in Ground Level is Pointless and spotting MIG-21 is far easier. And the MIG Radar is more or less useless at Ground level against fast Movers. So it is more luck then Skill to score a Kill.
