Remove all mods, run a repair and see if it's still the same. Also would be nice to know if it's all vehicles or only specific ones. And then also if they even have their engines turned on in the first place.

is there a bug with F-16 refueling ? No return pre-contact message ?
razo+r replied to Falken2's topic in General Bugs
There is no need to cycle anything in the F-16. If you were cleared for contact, took fuel and then disconnected, despite the tanker saying "return pre contact", you don't actually have to call or say anything. If you simply go back into contact position, the tanker should connect to you again automatically. -
No, repair does not touch the saved games directory. What you could do is rename the DCS folder in the saved games directory. This will force DCS to create a new and fresh one which will hopefully fix that issue. Once fixed, you can copy over your controls from the renamed folder.

Since DCS doesn't really model the effect of phosphorus itself, they are more like short lived smoke markers.

razo+r replied to Falken2's topic in General Bugs
If you only get pre-contact clearance, you have to move into pre-contact position, and then declare ready contact. If you don't get cleared for contact, he will never connect the boom to you. And you will also not get the "return pre-contact" message if you were never cleared for contact position. Overall I think there is some misunderstanding going on here. Have you followed online tutorials? Do you perhaps have a short track at hand? -
Did you search for "Pilot" or "Body"? Anyway, it's RShift+P.

If you know the keybinding to toggle it on/off, you can just press that and it will jump to the correct place.
-
Thing is, you aren't even supposed to put your head outside, hence why leaving a gap there is pretty much no issue.

The only thing I can think of is if you perhaps make the texture transparent, if that even works. Otherwise no, it will be either on or off.

Setting Waypoints and assigning targets as Airboss
razo+r replied to Tomcatter87's topic in Wish List
Yes, you can assign targets and limited waypoints as a pilot via F10 map, but it requires the Combined Arms module. -
Would be good to know which aircraft you are talking about.

There is no audible alarm as far as I know, only the low altitude warning light.
-
Ah, a detail that slipped by. Yes, then everything is as designed. No need to do a repair or remove mods.
-
Note: AI aircraft cannot use the takeoff from ground function. If xou have an AI wingman, you won't be able to use the takeoff from ground option.
-
Yes that would work.

Drones don't pop up at start

Need more info. What map? what airfield? do you have any mods? have you tried a repair? can you upload a track? -
Like I said. Remove all of them and run a repair. Then check if it's okay and after that install one mod after another to see which one it is. But then again you have the option to start from cold (takeoff from ramp) in your screenshot.
-
Have you tried removing all mods and running a repair?
-
Add DCS as an exception to Windows defender.
-
Give it a bigger airport to land at, or consider the option to respawn the tanker instead of going for a ground refuel.
-
No, the possibility to change the bindings in the main menu is ancient. As for the module issues, I can only give you generic tips. Remove all mods that you have installed (if any), make sure that your anti virus has not quarantined any files from DCS, if it did restore the files and add them as an exception and then at last run a repair.
