It's an update. Unless you are against updating, you should proceed.

For communication, always make sure you use the correct radio and the corresponding PTT button. Also, making sure that the ATC belongs to the same coalition as you doesn't hurt. Then, if you can contact ATC, make sure you use the ILS of the RWY that they tell you or if you have the possibility, force a certain runway to be active by adding some wind, preferably something like 5m/s / 10kts as it seems lower speeds may cause issues / irregularities. Also keep in mind that some ILS can be bugged (Al Dhafra is an example I believe) and god knows how the extremely limited ATC of DCS is handling airports with more than 1 seperate runway.

There is no clear answer to this. Sometimes they do it, sometimes they don't. But they don't do it all the time, and they don't do it never. The general consensus is still that you shouldn't do it, but that of course doesn't prohibit people from doing it from time to time.

Calibrate the stick in Windows device manager or hardware and devices, download the software for your stick and calibrate it there or add a deadzone to your axis in DCS itself.

Ich hab dir in deinem Topic geantwortet. Du hattest die Einheit nicht korrekt aufgesetzt und irgendwie einen Glitch oder so verursacht.

Ja, LCtrl+Y oder Z je nachdem welche Tastatur du hast. Gibt auch für Langsamer (LCtrl+X) oder normale Zeit (LShift+Y/Z), am besten schaust du in der Steuerung nach da ich mir gerade nicht mehr sicher bin, ob das stimmt.

Ist F11 überhaupt erlaubt in den Missionseinstellungen?

2 Sachen: 1. Wie gesagt musst du den Raketenwerfer weiter weg platzieren. Ich hab ihn einfach in den Süden wo es einigermassen flach ist gezogen. 2. Irgendwas stimmt mit der Einheit nicht. Zwar ist ein "Feuer auf Punkt" ersichtlich auf der Karte, aber nicht in der Aufgabenliste der Einheit. Du musst den Befehl neu aufsetzen, dann geht es.

Nein, da sollte kein Unterschied sein. Bist du 100% sicher dass die Einheiten richtig aufgesetzt sind?

Kann die Mission gerade nicht anschauen aber generell gehts folgendermassen: Platzier den Raketenwerfer an einer mehr oder weniger flachen Gegend. Geh zu fortgeschrittene Wegpunktaktionen und gib der Einheit "Befehl ausführen" -> "Feuern auf Punkt". Zieh dann diesen Punkt dorthin wo du willst und stelle die Parameter nach deinen Wünschen ein. Stell sicher dass der Punkt zwischen der maximalen und minimalen Reichweite liegt. Gerade bei Raketenwerfern kann die minimale Reichweite relativ gross sein. Das sollte es sein.

You also have to jettison the rack. Dropping the bombs only is not enough.

From my experience, which is a few years old by now, you cannot use rockets with the big bomb. You can use rockets only with the 4 small ones AFTER you jettisoned the bomb rack.

Did you carry bombs?

Klingt eher wie ein Bug.

It should work just fine for steam if you buy it, after all it's out for years.
