You cannot fully raise the hook. Once lowered, mechanics need to push it into place again.

So just to clarify when you contacted the ATC it told you RWY 24 is active and not 06?
-
Not yet. Still waiting for ED to implement paratroopers...

Perhaps a DCS limitation? Either way, OP not only flew from the wrong direction but also used the wrong ILS Frequency. A good example I guess that shows not everything in DCS is realistic and that there may be a difference between real world and ingame content/charts/frequencies.
-
Yes and no. A Loc approach is supposed to be flown from one and only one direction. However, a localiser antenna is also radiating backwards so you could capture the backcourse of it. Just that this isn't done anymore and there is no need for a backcourse approach if you have an ILS for it instead. The airfields on Caucasus you mean don't have an approach from the opposite because of mostly terrain reasons, sometimes money reasons. But if you were to place your aircraft on the opposite of the ILS you tuned to, you should still get the localiser backcourse of it. https://www.boldmethod.com/learn-to-fly/systems/how-to-fly-a-localizer-back-course-approach/ And as far as I know backcourse was always a thing in DCS. But I am not sure in this case as I don't know the frequencies by heart but judging by the description, it does seem to be the case as it perfectly matches what you expect from a Loc BC approach, no glideslope and reversed Loc sensing.
-
What exactly do you mean? What OP is describing is that RWY 06 is active and he is getting the localiser backcourse of it (condition being of course that the ILS has the same frequency for both directions). And just to rule out all factors and DCS's irregularities, forcing the wind to make sure that 24 is indeed the active one would help to confirm wheter or not it is working correctly or not.
-
Did you set the proper wind to force RWY 24 to be active?
-
What aircraft, which ATC, are you using the correct radio, frequency and according PTT, easy comms off?

solved KA50 Black Shark 3 - No Range to Target from Laser when powered up.
razo+r replied to Maximo's topic in Bugs and Problems
Each time you use it it heats up and when it is turned off it cools down. If the temperature, which there is no way of seeing it, gets above a certain number, it stops working. The easiest way to stop it from accumulating heat is to turn it off when you don't need it, like MAXsenna said. -
Post your whole log here. We simply need more infos.

solved KA50 Black Shark 3 - No Range to Target from Laser when powered up.
razo+r replied to Maximo's topic in Bugs and Problems
Sounds like you are overheating and breaking the laser. Have you left it running for the whole flight including the 3 rearmings? -
There are slabs, I think they even got included with Massuns asset pack into DCS. However, they will not prevent any forming of dust as the dust will just clip through them.
-
It depends on the FOV. If you zoom in in the cockpit view or zoom out in external view it should change.

Dynamic weather is still in the works. Current dynamic weather is quite undynamic and still with the old clouds.

Is your INS switch in IFA?
-
Not necessarily should, but you can.

Go to your profile and attachments and delete the old ones that are not needed anymore. And yes, if you uploaded the Images here they will be gone. If you uploaded them to a different website and copied the link they should remain.
-
Do you have any mods installed? If yes, remove them, run a repair and see if it helped.

You do flare a Hornet if you are not flying it for the US military.

SCUDs won't reload/Rearm.
razo+r replied to RedBear311's topic in Ground AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
According to the manual a Smerch takes 2160 seconds to rearm while an SA-10 takes 7200 seconds. I have no idea how long a SCUD would take but the possibility of more than one hour for rearming is there. I might test it later on and report back. -
SCUDs won't reload/Rearm.
razo+r replied to RedBear311's topic in Ground AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
No waypoint triggers are needed and one ural can supply an unlimited amount of units. Rearming should start automatically but can take a long time. Unfortunately the SCUD isn't listed in the user manual how long it takes. -
Which key are you using? Are you sure you are using the Radio 1 or 2 PTT button?
