Warthog f16-stick setup for the FW190-A8 and weapons
razo+r replied to jackd's topic in DCS: Fw 190 A-8 Anton
The clock is the historical filter and limits aircraft and equipment to the year you selected, 1939 in this case. The rockets were not around until 1943, thus making them not available. -
There are many ways to do it. If you get range and azimuth from a waypoint, you can create offset waypoints. If you get coordinates, you can manually add a new steer/markpoint. If you get range and azimuth from bullseye, use the HSD/FCR. If you get range and azimuth from you, turn to the heading and use SP on your FCR/TGP.

3 planes leaving is fine, 4 planes leaving is blocked (Super Carrier)

Got a track or mission to showcase the issue? -

"F" buttons don't do views anymore
razo+r replied to Lee1's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Any windows update or keyboard layout changes or something similar? Do the F keys still work outside of DCS? -
I would wait until ED fixed this issue and then revisit the missions.

Well, driving around in a full fidelity tank would be cool but also get quicky very stale and probably boring/annoying. The AI is neither smart nor realistic. Very limited behaviour and heavily simplified. Maps aren't really made with ground units in mind (terrible pathfinding, getting stuck on bushes, questionable road layouts etc.). Graphics... Well, lots of graphical effects are missing. Interaction between units is also quite limited as of today. You can do a standalone tank at it would function reasonably well. It's just when it comes to the ground war simulation, DCS is simply not anywhere near where it is to the air part (and even that one has big gaps in some areas).
-
Has anyone talked about it? Yeah, a tiny bit I guess. Does it make sense? No, not without a massive overhaul of the core. Would it be nice to have? Sure.

There are not a lot of items listed for the F-5, if you read through them, you should easily find it. "Fixed: Cannot open and close the service hatch panels." Different issue, already reported.
-
Once you are done flying in single player, in the debriefing screen you have the option to "save track/replay" at the bottom. You can then choose where to save the track.

It was fixed, read the (I think it is) latest changelog. It should be in there.

F-5E Remastered FPS issue after the last patch?
razo+r replied to FZG_Immel's topic in Bugs and Problems
-
I haven't flown it in a long long time, it will take me more than just two minutes. Besides, we basically have no information about the exact procedures you or OP used, a track will show exactly what you are doing, how the mission is set up and what is happening.
-
We need a short track demonstrating this issue.
-
As sad as it sounds it's been reported since over 2 years. Though I must admit I haven't revisited if the reported issues still persist. I kind of gave up on it.

Fox-2's not giving LA or tone unless in longitude scan.
razo+r replied to EasternEagle's topic in MiG-29 for DCS World
You'd have to test that, make a test at low level and one at high and see if it changes. Otherwise also a difference is when you are trying to lock a friendly. It won't give you LA if you have a radar lock. But again, best is to supply a short track. -
You need to have the engines off and at 0% RPM.

razo+r replied to EasternEagle's topic in MiG-29 for DCS World
I cannot get a tone but I can get a LA. But you should still supply a short track. -
Also make sure simplified/arcade/game flight model is turned off in the options.

Which videos are you talking about? Can you link them?

F-5E Remastered FPS issue after the last patch?
razo+r replied to FZG_Immel's topic in Bugs and Problems
Already reported. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/366525-f-5e-remastered-fps-issue-after-the-last-patch/page/3/#comment-5579159 -
Its a false positive, you may restore it and add the file as an exception.

On one hand, at low speed they should not create as much drag as at high speeds, on the other hand your aircraft will create more induced drag at low speeds, so it's a bit more complex.
-
With cargo door do you mean the two doors at the back that are usually open with the gunners in place? You should be able to open those with LAlt+3/4. But as far as I know you don't need to open those (unless it's a new, fancy script I haven't come across yet).
