  2. I've just seen the vid, from the gazelle, over NTTR in 29th november Wags news video Very very good job so far ! I love the high fidelity motor/rotor sounds. It looks like that everything inside is highly detailled and modeled. for sure it will be a must buy... ;-) congrat to Pat and the team

  4. same error tonight for me, since an electric fealure. unable to download the reg file, unable to lauch updater or repair same issue only DCS.exe can launch but very slow ... can't find the resolved issue on the forum .... help needed.
  5. good news ! for first step and beta in december, until it is fully implemented in a next futur, you can use simFFB.exe ( lauch it before DCS) wich is enough good to simulate a resistance and friction on all axes on my FFB2 can be used to apply constant centering force too I use it on games like Elite dangerous, and sometimes for Heli. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1394206&postcount=18

  8. looks good so far. can't wait to fly her.:thumbup: On 5:00 before missile lauch, the locked sight on VTH(HUD) should be a square not a circle unfact it is an IR mode ? VTB and RDI radar seems not yet available ? on landing the pitch angle should be 14° 15° max. It seems that she lands very 'flat' with this WIP EFM. +1

  11. True, test on L39 with max blue parameters in spec files only give a highly brillant paint aspect, nothing like the P51/F86 metalic effect. maybe must have an other parameter to activate it, in a lua file maybe ? can't wait to read the clue about that;-)

OK I've got it. but still need some tweaks and neet adjustement to be more realistic and less "plastic" This is still true : R- the intensity of the flare (the dark - no glare, bright - bright glare) G- width of the specular spot B-degree of reflection (dark - the surface does not reflect-mat, light - the maximum reflection - a mirror). but for simplicity, the channel G is inverted R but in 1.5 : B the more blue the more reflection you'll have, but it will mask all the DIF texture and "greyish it". Look a bit too much plastic in maximum blue. So you will need to take care to all insigne and text and mark to have its own layer in pure green (mat ) for lines and dust : Use a light bluish green a bit less reflective but without any red. here we go : Heller bust update and tests :
  14. Up this thread for 1.5 features So .... has someone anderstood, the new "foggy" shame on old 1.2. textures when used in 1.5 ? What about the 3 colousr channels in first posts ? what sort of effect in 1.5 ? I've made some little experiment but have not the clue so far Can't wait to read yours skinners time to update this thread to update all of our skins, and work for the best metallic reflectiv texture in 1.5 ;-) :pilotfly::music_whistling:
  15. mipmapping is easy to mod extract your defaut cockpittexture.zip folder you'll get a new folder cold "cockpittexture" open the copied bmp file in Gimp export to nameofthefile.dds select DTX5 + generate mipmap, it will save a new dds file in the folder once all done erase all bmp files done !
  16. With my rudder pedals i need to block the chair too, so what i usually do : just turn 3 wheels from 4, in a 90° angle so you won't go back anymore. ( it'a routine like adjust your harness or plug your eject seat ;-) :megalol::D

  18. This tips works unfact it use a new activation. Each time i have ti do it i use one more and now I have only two activation available ! :-( I hope Leatherneck will give us some more activation credit, regarding to this bug ? :music_whistling:
  19. @Simicro here are my setting for the mi-8 ( same MSFFB2 as you ) FFB : 80 trimer force 40 for shake invert : yes (always invert trim in DCS with MSFF2) Axes : rudder : linear 100% x : linear : saturation y on 70% x on 100 % y : linear : saturation y on 70 % x on 100% collective : personal curve here ( easier & more precise for hoover and landing, must be adverted and quick in vortex ring)

  23. :megalol: Mine are so rare that when one appears by luck, it is always a joy to appreciate ! :megalol: @Jacks "I am slowly working through the campaign which is excellent but at some point will need to figure out how to use the autopilot" always keep the one in the middle on the green position. when you lose some rotor speed ( under 90%) it may switch off because of insuficiant electric generator, always keep high rotor speed ( this can appears in vortex ring recovering or avoiding) switch on the left and right one (heading and alt ) just for take off and landing. better to map a key for each On/off
