Mission 2...perfectly normal departure - straight out on runway heading, rotate at 135 knots 5 degree climbout Wingman collides 20 seconds after take off -
Mission 1 T/O Hawg 1-1 (Player) takes position on Runway CAS 1-2 immediately crashes into Player Tacview file attached Tacview-20201219-142226-DCS-Push - 0-0.zip.acmi

No problem at all...I've a stack of modules here that I haven't had chance to get competent with...enough to last me a LONG time (and as I said plenty of 3rd Party modules to look forward to... I just pointed out that from a Commercial point of view Helicopters are pretty "niche" in terms of their Player-base/Purchase numbers even more so if you think the Apache (given the different front-seat/back-seat layouts and substantially differntiated Pilot/Gunner roles) looks like it'll be MP only - I don't know enough about the Hind and the workload split to comment as to whether thats an option for SP... If as is used for "justification" for the Early Access model ED is dependent on the revenue "spikes" from new module releases - given that 2021 looks like a focus on Warbirds (Mozzie) Rotarywing (Hind) and Rotary WIng/MP only (Apache) is that enough to keep them going at the current level - given they're all likely to be lower sellers than AAA modules like the A10/F16/F/A18 etc...

I know...I love the 476th Combat Fundementals - but still I liked the way he pulled out a common attack profile and broke it down! -
I can't find it but I swear there was a point where ED said the new "mind-melting" module would be FW rather than RW It'll please the Rotorheads...but doesn't particularly scream "mainstream" like a single seat FW jet would... I'd been hoping for a Mig 29A or similar Fairplay to the RW players...the rest of us have the A7/F8Mirage F1 to look forward to so no complaints

OK...tech problem here...my PC currently has 2 SSDs (both 256GB...they seemed big at the time) One with my WIndows Install/Productivity programmes etc and one thats DCS dedicated (and nearly full!) The last patch is going to overflow my 256GB SSD...so I need to upgrade to 500GB (not a massive problem they're pretty cheap now) Here's the logic problem...How do I copy my DCS install onto a new SSD when I only have 2 slots (both occupied) and not enough room on my C:Drive to copy my F:Drive (DCS install) while I swap out the other SSD Any advice appreciated!

Is this being re-advertised (See Wags Dec 16 video) because there's an A10C II version out - or just because there's been an uptick in interest in the A10 following the release of the A10C II ?

Just a quick bit of support as i've had a few problems (which I assume are related to my Batch file) as I'm using (and have enabled via) the DCE Mission Script Mod in OvGME - does this look right dor the entries in my BAT file (given the Script Mod version is correct) Assuming the paths are to those drives/files? I'm getting cannot find path specified in the command line window when I run the First mission .bat file As below (though if you look at the folder it DOES exist...

Its because there is no collision model for the boom...its "insubstantial" so ghosts through your cockpit if you clip it... I'd agree it should be "solid" and able to damage/be damaged - but that wouldn't be very popular (especially on MP servers where every tanker would routinely be coming odff station and waiting for a replacement to be launched LOL)

Don't even get me started... If I'm having to click something in the cockpit with the mouse (rather than having it mapped to a device) I feel myself stopping and articulating in my head "now...is this left click for forward/up or is it right click?"

Trigger Problems

Practice Mission seems to work fine... I believe that the problem might be caused by the "scripted voiceover" about Weapons Hold, Laser Safety and Range Safety procedures is still completing during the aproach to the first turnpoint (Waypoint 1) so somehow stops the mission issuing the "Turn Right to heading 310" instruction activating and that then cascades on preventing future instructions... I've tried flying it at 225kts and it was still a problem for me...I'll try 200kts to WP1 and see if that makes a difference by giving time for the Voiceover to finish..."clearing the way" for the directional instructions. -

Can't attach a track file for the A2G Guns/Rockets mission which i've tried again this evening...exceeds upload limits! (PM me and I can share) But no Instructions after a certain point... No "G awareness warm up instruction, no fence in instruction, no hard deck is terminated instruction"... Flown the waypoints closely in terms of speed/altitude - no TOT just fly "an appropriate speed" so I cruised at 250kts -
Anyone having substantial problems getting Missions to work after recent releases... I've recently flown A2A Guns and Rockets, A2G Guns & Rockets missions as Full Missions from start up & on all occasions I've failed to "Trigger" the Voice Comms that initiate the "G-awareness Test" and "Fence In actions" So consequently I always "Fail" (breaking the hard-deck - as i'm never granted freedom to maneuver) and the A2A targets never Spawn (or the A2G targets never pop smoke) Anyone else experiencing this...or am I missing something obvious (wrong altitude due to incorrect QNH, too early/too late with ToT) etc? It goes without saying I'm flying them unedited in their original configuration and I've performed a DCS repair.

Or in other words...ED is a small Software House within a niche market...is it impossible to believe that amongst the tens of thousands of us out here...there's no-one amongst us with experience of managing, bigger business units, larger projects, more staff, more outcome-critical environments? -
It might not make you better in MP...but it is certainly the sweetest A2A plane...in terms of fun to fly, the campaigns available for it and the challenge of being succesful...plus she's also a beauty!
