  1. Many thanks. Now working. Great to finally get a solution for the Huey, which seems a tad difficult compared to other ac I fly in DCS. Struggling with enough buttons though, lol, and in VR. I will explore how much this will have changed things for me with the warbirds I fly later. Thanks again for your time and trouble. Very kind of you. Happy landings, Talisman
  2. Good to hear Thumper1911. Well done. Sounds like I need a co-pilot who knows how to mark the F10 map. Happy landings, Talisman
  3. Thanks admiki. Tried that but still no joy. Not able to transmit and no green light on the SRS overlay even when radio is on and turned to correct channel. The radios are working because I can get them to hiss in my ear when I use test button or squelch button. Thanks for trying. I might try a fresh installation of SRS. This is all far from simple, lol. I have had no trouble with SRS until I tried the Huey. A bit fed up with all this now I am afraid. Happy landings, Talisman Hi Folks, Would anyone be kind enough to post screen shots of their SRS settings specifically for the Huey? Happy landings, Talisman
  4. Thanks Ciribob. Did that and followed instructions to disable radio switch control in SRS and disable DCS PTT in SRS but still no joy. The radios are working as I can get them to hiss in my ear when tested, but can't transmit and even when tuned to the correct channel I am not getting a green light on the overlay. Thanks for trying. Perhaps I need a fresh installation of SRS. Happy landings, Talisman
  5. Thanks Fakum. That is interesting. I have no idea how to mark the F10 map in the first place, let alone do it while flying; also looks like we can only be effective with a co-pilot Shame we can't mark targets with smoke. I had high hopes for this server, but so far it looks like the Huey missions not so good IMHO. Happy landings, Talisman
  6. Hi Folks, Very many thanks for your help. I have attached my settings below. My problem is that when I join a MP server I can transmit with my SRS push to talk button perfectly well and I get a green light on the SRS overlay in the 'select role' area, for example on UHF Guard channel, but as soon as I am in the cockpit and start engines and turn on radios they don't work for me. Push to talk SRS button will no longer transmit and I can't get a green light on the SRS overlay for any of channels listed. It seems like the Huey interfaces with SRS in a different way than the other aircraft I fly.
  7. Thanks. I don't seem to be getting a prompt, but will go and get new version. However, does this mean that all my current settings are lost and I will need to reset them? Happy landings, Talisman
  8. Are updates still automatic on launch? Just checked mine and it says version 1.3.13.0 Do I have to activate an update somehow or download new version. Thanks. Happy landings, Talisman
  9. I would like to see. Yes, see better in VR. That would be a good start. Better visibility in VR. Yes please. Compared to other flight simulations the quality of visibility in VR is poor. Happy landings, Talisman
  10. Hi Thumper1911, Glad you had a good time. I flew the Huey and was disappointed. What did you do to have a good time? What mission objectives did you achieve? I did not find anything useful to do and ended up being shot down by Mig-15, lol. Happy landings, Talisman
  11. Sorry, but I don't understand your reply at all. I never use hot mic and hate hot mic, so you have totally confused me. I simply can't get my radio to transmit when I press my SRS push to talk button, even though the radio is switched on. I am not trying to us internal ac intercom, I am simply trying to communicate with pilots in other ac on the same frequency. I fly MP, so this is a problem. If anyone has an idea as to why my Huey radio will not transmit to human players on SRS, even though I can hear them, I would very much appreciate any useful feedback. Thanks. P.S. The move up and down channels selector key bindings in SRS are not working for me either, so can't change channels via SRS in the Huey for some reason. Happy landings, Talisman
  12. Hi Folks, Please help. I have spent many hours over days trying to sort this. I have no problems with SRS for the other aircraft I fly in DCS, but the Huey is giving me a big problem. My problem is that when I join a server I can transmit with my SRS push to talk button perfectly well in the 'select role' area, for example on UHF Guard channel, but as soon as I am in the cockpit and start engines and turn on radios they don't work for me Push to talk will no longer work and I can't get a green light on the SRS overlay for any of channels listed. The UHF radio is turned on and set to transmit and number 2 is selected on the dial for primary comms air-to-air, but no joy at all. Thing is, I can receive OK and hear my mate talking to me, but I am unable to transmit to him. No joy with VHF either. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be would be very gratefully received. Happy landings, Talisman
  13. Well done mate, nice landing. Brilliant that you have come this far and can produce videos like you have. Thank you for sharing a very different perspective on things. Good luck to you and yours. I am new to the Huey and it is my first chopper. Never thought I would like it as much as I do, but I am hooked on the Huey now that is for sure Happy landings, Talisman
  14. Hi Caldera, Very strange that your A-10C was effected. Glad you had back-up. I always remove the Save Cockpit Angles key commands from all my ac and only ever set and use a temporary custom key as/when needed and remove it again after finished with it. Very glad all has worked out OK for you. Happy landings, Talisman
  15. Dear Dev's, Would like to be able to see troops and rescued pilots, etc, in the back of the ac. Would like to be able to rescue MP human avatar pilots and for them to be able to board the ac properly without legs sticking out the bottom of the ac. Would like the ability for MP human avatar pilots to be able to fire location signal flare just like the AI pilots do. Would like the MP human avatar pilots rescued by SAR to be able to disembark better. Thank you in anticipation. Happy landings, Talisman
  16. This all looks brilliant Mugga. I will draw this server to the attention of my squad and all my flying buddies. Very exciting. This could become my DCS server of choice. Early jets, WW2 props and helicopters is just great! Respect and solute to you for all your good words in this regard. Happy landings, Talisman
  17. Perhaps DCS will decrease the speed of other adversary aircraft to compensate for not having historical 150 Octane fuel made available as an option. Happy landings, Talisman
  18. Hi Folks, For info, Huey pilots needed in relation to an event this Saturday. Please find link below for info: Happy landings, Talisman
  19. You are a scholar and a gentleman sir Thank you very much. Please count me in to fly the UH1H Huey. Happy landings, Talisman (ACG_Talisman)
  20. Very much agree. JetPad is brilliant! Aircraft is dead without it. I enjoy it very much with SimShaker Wings and SimShaker for Aviator software Also makes great flight simulation with VR and with force feed-back joystick. f4I0 and Andre are brilliant! Happy landings, Talisman
  21. I would love to take part as Mig15bis or Huey pilot, but I don't use Discord due to it's data mining business model. Is there a way I can take part without having to use Discord? Thank you in advance. Happy landings, Talisman
  22. Hi Folks, I would like to try and find a group to fly the Huey with. To that end I am looking to fly as a guest if anyone is willing to take me on to see if I would fit in well with their group. I am in the EU time zone. I have TS3 and SRS. I don't use Discord, due to their data mining business model, and I don't use mods. I am free to fly every day of the week except Sunday and Thursday. I have been flying fixed wing flight simulation for about 15 years and have lots of experience flying with squadrons in the MP environment. Having recently discovered the joys of the DCS Huey, I would like to find a group of Huey enthusiasts to fly with. Many thanks to anyone who may be kind enough to respond to this request. Happy landings, Talisman
  23. Thank you for responding longuich and speed-of-heat. Both HAGS and game mode off then. Happy landings, Talisman
  24. I am running my Pimax at resolution 3312 x 2724 with good fps and good competitive fun on MP too. I think that a good FOV is particularly advantageous and immersive for combat flight sims and I find that my viewing resolution quality combined with Pimax FOV advantages makes for comfortable and enjoyable flight simulation. I am always looking out for the latest VR headset release and checking out the specs, but so far always disappointed with lack of progress on FOV. Very pleased that at least Pimax can deliver what I want as a customer. However, I would like to see some competition for Pimax in this regard. Happy landings, Talisman
  25. Hi folks, I have two questions below for anyone kind enough to be able to offer some advice: 1. Is Win 10 game mode any use for DCS? Windows 10 game mode on or off for DCS? 2. Also, regarding 'Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling' (allows graphics card to manage its own video memory (VRAM) instead of the operating system). The feature was introduced in the Windows 10 May 2020 Update. Again the same question. Is this any use for DCS? On or off for DCS? I use VR and my system specs are detailed below.
