  1. Thanks, so a different behavior. Maybe some runtime related problem but hard to reproduce. Fingers crossed the devs can find something.
  2. Don't know if it's related or not. Do you switch planes or maps within a DCS session!? I had similar auto pilot issues in the Hornet having flown a different plane before without closing DCS. Ending DCS and restarting the same mission, autopilot was working again with no problem.
  3. Hello, Don't know i this is a bug or not. Anyone else also noticed, that the engine stops too soon after going to cutoff on the mixture lever? Going to cutoff there is still fuel in the fuel lines which will be sucked into the carb and cylinders slowly stopping the engine, also propeller and rotating mass in the engine will have quite an inertia coming to a stop more slowly. ED's P-47 with the same engine stops much more slowly. The sudden stoppage also appears when switching the mags to off. I had no luck being in low idle to do a mags grounding check with going mags off and immediately on again which should result just in a short drop in RPM and recatching of the engine ignition (also working in P-47). If necessary I can create trk and record a video of what I mean. Please see her real engine stopping at around 5:25 in the video. Thanks Jens
  4. Hello, using a Thrustmaster TWCS throttle and a T.16000 stick I do not have so many axis to assign throttle, propeller and boost lever. Having the boost controls for increase and decrease bound to two buttons on the throttle. Pressing short on a button moves the boost lever too far. Would like to have less sensitivity of that boost increase/decrease button commands or a separate boost slow increase/decrease key combo. Currently I'm not able to climb with full open throttle at max continuous power and just slowly open the boost to hold the manifold pressure. Thanks Jens
  5. New video by "Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles", highly recommend his channel. Best Regards Jens

  6. That's what I thought after download. Thanks @Charly_Owl for the great work.
  7. Could the lase code tool tip upper limit in ME also be changed for A-10CII? It says 1788 is possible, but it's not as stated above. I struggled, cause in ME it was possible to set GBU-12 coder to 1712. When loading the DSMS in the plane this defaulted to 1688.
  8. Also wondered about this. Thanks -Rudel- for the explanation. Maybe there is a chance some day.
  9. Also installed the L2D2 liveries and also French liveries from the download section. I than copied the one of the French liveries in a new folder, changed the name in description lua and took all the files within [DCS_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY]\Mods\tech\WWII Units\Textures\C-47.zip and put them in the new "default" livery in my save games. This way I can use that livery, too.
  10. Would also like to see some more C-47 liveries.
  11. First attempt was without hook. After that, three successful carrier traps in a row. Almost too easy? Or am I that good?! Hits and bda I guess is a bug!? Touchdowns were hard, but not that hard to damage the carrier deck. What are the numbers in parentheses in details column (27, 20, 18, 16)?
  12. Hi @-Rudel-, sorry for the ping, but wanted to fill this thread with some tracks. Not totally scientific, but this should show the difference. Caucasus mission new, Corsair set to 3000ft air start with 50% fuel. In both scenarios I set 2300 rpm and 34 in MP and didn't change cowl flap position after spawn. Descended to about 2700 ft. One short track is without wing rockets and automatically without the stubby rocket pylons. Speed achieved in level flight was about 214 kts IAS even in a slight climb to 2800ft. Second track starts with eight rockets attached, speed at around 2700 ft was around 181 kts IAS. After firing all rockets and keeping 2700 ft, speed went only slightly up to about 185 kts IAS (don't know if this was just a bit PIO around the 2700 ft mark or not). So questions persist: Are the stubby pylons so draggy? How much difference do they make compared to no stubby pylons? How much faster should the F4 go after firing eight rockets both losing the weight and drag of them? Thanks for checking Jens 20250625_F4U_drag_without_rockets_and_stub_pylons_3000ft_2300rpm_34MP_208kts_IAS.trk 20250625_F4U_drag_with_and_without_rockets_3000ft_2300rpm_34MP_185kts_IAS.trk
  13. Thanks, wanted to evaluate this also. Did a flight yesterday and after trying to land after firing rockets, I needed so much power to maintain flying speed. Will try to get a track or two when needed.
  14. Noticed the same and also thought, MiG-21 as the early addon plane is the same logic. So, yeah, would be nice if this can be changed as the majority of addons uses the right click is up logic.
  15. Hi wanted to report the hydraulic hand pump animation loop looks a bit weird. Current situation: Clicking the handle or using the key bind results in the following movement Starting from center to forward --> full backward --> center --> backward again --> full forward --> center stop. Going from rear position to center and back to rear to than move full forward is not a flow you want while pumping. You want to have the full movement from one to the other stop. Expected: Using such a handle the normal operation of two whole cycles starting end ending in center position should be: Starting from center to full forward --> full backward --> full forward --> center stop. or even just one cycle: Starting from center to full forward --> full backward --> center. Please see video for details: Thanks Jens
  16. Hello, little quirk I found. The clickspots for the canopy are not working after jettison the canopy and doing a repair. Steps to reproduce (also check trk attached) load F4U on an airfield mouse over canopy lever and canopy jettison lever -> click spots are marked and tool tips visible click on jettison canopy -> canopy is dropped call ground crew and request repair after repair, canopy is installed again mouse over canopy lever and canopy jettison lever -> click spots are NOT marked and tool tips NOT visible tooltips before jettison: mouse was hovering above same spot, no tool tips and click spots after jettison and repair 20250624_F4U_no_canopy_clickspots_after_jettison_and_repair.trk

  18. and some more details I guess some of the HAS were used in the late 90s early 2000s for some Techno / rave events and have been painted inside. near the back wall, some anchors in the ground rear exit rear exit from outside rear side door from a different shelter Magnetic location information? Door details
  19. There's a hand pump to the left of the seat to increase hydraulic pressure for opening and closing cowl flaps without the engine running.
  20. Hello, just wanted to share some pictures I took today on my local tour. These are the remains of what was former airfield Welzow. Airfield hosted Su-24 before the Soviets left East Germany in the 1990s. For reference: https://www.mil-airfields.de/deutschland/welzow-flugplatz.html Image of the runway approach lights has been taken here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/n2etMFriaet9SBss8 Following images are from objects on the eastern and southern decentralizing spaces. door track details a number engraved in the concrete of the shelter door sliding panel backing up the front wheel. and from the outside. Cables for the door mechanism are missing a long time I guess... Details of the remains of the electrical compartment on the side of the HAS to be continued...
  21. Flying east of Spangdahlem.
