  1. bbrz, have you tested this since the last patch? I am curious to see if this issue has been addressed. JD AKA_MattE
  2. Would love to check that out but the server is password protected. JD AKA_MattE
  3. Seems you forgot about what happened to you over Tiblisi the other night, unless someone else uses the callsign Reaper and flies a KA 50? I just want to make it easier to see you guys so I can go guns more often. JD AKA_MattE
  4. In the end it is a plane set/weapons set argument. It is the same kind of plane set/weapon set argument I have seen in other sims with other campaigns that eventually drove the guys who put on those campaigns to quit, so I have a suggestion to everyone. If you like the idea of the present plane set/weapon set fly round 9, if you don’t like the plane set/weapon set don’t fly round 9 and be patient, it will almost certainly change for round 10. Now for a serious Blue Flag request, can we get the KA 50’s to have a Dayglo orange skin so they are easier to kill? JD AKA_MattE
  5. And this is the post later on in the thread from the guy who pulled the maneuver off ok well seeing as i made the damn video here's my two cents i really never thought it would be necessary to state this but i 100000% went into this knowing how crazy the concept is, i mean there's a REASON im using an ace combat livery. you guys really gotta cut razbam some slack because they obviously have more pressing and reasonable tweaks to attend to, it's not like this is a game breaking thing that everyone is going to try in multiplayer , it was just, if you could possibly imagine it, me having fun, nothing more than that, i did the maneuver for FUN, so that people could watch and have a good laugh, is it such an absolutely mind blowing concept that you can just goof off in a simulator sometimes?? is it realistic? of course not, but why should razbam go through the tedious task of fine tuning such a ridiculous thing, it has literally no serious application in the sim, the only way it could possibly be used is for just messing around, nobody could possibly go into a serious scenario with a top gun mindset of using this in a real dogfight, you will die, plain and simple, this is a big bomber that i modified to ignore my presence and just fly straight and brain dead and guess what, most of the time i tried this i ended up falling out of the sky at this point i might as well delete the video because what was supposed to be me just sharing a good laugh is turning into everyone tearing into each other. razbam has done an incredible job with the mirage and i have the utmost respect for their work, and the work of ANY of the third party devs who bust their asses to bring us these modules, let them focus on actually important FM tweaks that apply to simulated scenarios, this was not meant to be a simulated scenario, this would never have worked and at no point did i go into this with a serious mindset, nobody in their right mind is going to fly a simulated scenario with the FBW system off and if they try they find themselves in a crater 99.9% of the time like i did when i was doing this http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2866349&postcount=43 Lets try and stay away from disinformation. 6. I read it. Something to note for the guys who don't like the concept (if it stays as it is), fighter tactics training programs do heater only training all the time, just think of it as a training round for your WVR tactics! JD AKA_MattE
  7. ??? How many times does this need to be explained, the F5 was the ONLY forward operating fighter for Blue in round 8 (or are you referring to round 7, there were no F5's in round 7?). The Mirage was at the same fields at the F15 for round 8. JD AKA_MattE
  8. I don't think it is a decision yet, just the first test for round 9. JD AKA_MattE
  9. Nothing, but you are not going to know if it is a good guy or bad guy unless a GCI is on and can see them. JD AKA_MattE
  10. So If I am reading this correctly the Mirage is only on the Red side? JD AKA_MattE
  11. Ok Tom, I recreated your test and got the same results, with either dogfight mode engaged the rockets will not fire. Once I turn the dogfight mode off from DM, the rockets will fire, however if I turn the dogfight mode off from DG the rockets will not fire, I have to switch to DM mode then back out to the center position (dogfight mode off) to get the rockets to fire. I suspect this is at least some of the issue, that once DG mode is turned off the normal release circuitry is not restored, can someone test this and see if they get the same results? I know my Warthog is giving the “R” command when switching from DG to center position, the next step is to look in the key bindings to see if there is a separate input for DG to center position, but I doubt it and use the keyboard instead of my joystick to enter the command to see if it is a timing issue with my Warthog. JD AKA_MattE
  12. No, I am with you, I am just trying to think it thru to try and figure it out. Your test with the DM/DG is very helpful to narrow it down. I keep having to jettison my rockets in Blue Flag because they will not fire... JD AKA_MattE
  13. I will test it when I get home from work for sure. The reason why I though it was not associated with the DM/DG was that I had several occasions where I did not have any Air to air encounters yet was not able to get the rockets to fire, that being said maybe I put the radar into DM/DG mode and just didn't remember or think of it and never reset it. I would not have stayed in DM/DG mode but I don't think I reset it by going to the center, I think I just changed the range or something similar on the radar, so it kicks it out of DM/DG mode. JD AKA_MattE
  14. No, I have had this issue even with the Jettison store switch in the safe position. I have had the issue on a regular basis; I thought it might be the ground adjustment where you need to designate single or ripple firing of the rockets before you start the engines, but even after following that procedure I have had the issue. I dont think it is the DM/DG mode but I will dive into it more and test. It is hard to find a pattern and figure out what is causing it, that being said I am starting to lean towards a bug. JD AKA_MattE
  15. I would not go that far, no nuclear weapons for the Mig 21. JD AKA_MattE
  16. A "live" commander would be a huge boost, but I think coordination via the Buddy Spike forum in the Blue side HQ would go a long ways as well. JD AKA_MattE

Documentation, I dont think so, but I could be wrong, What this is? It allows the radar to show the IR seeker in the Magic where a locked target is (as long as it is in the seekers FOV). Why are we so hyped... well it is going to make people cry even more about how the Mirage is so Uber. JD AKA_MattE
  18. Thanks Zeus, I appreciate it! JD AKA_MattE
  19. I was online against the SU25. First burst took out his right engine, second burst put him into the ground, I was close :) As for Dispersion, it does seem very wide, I was attacking ground targets and it was like a shotgun. Handy for ground attack but would certainly hinder A2A. JD AKA_MattE
  20. Hi Zeus, I was wondering if there was an update on this bug? I know it is a tricky one, I was wondering if it was going to make it into the "fixed" list for this Friday? Thanks JD AKA_MattE
  21. Thanks Greg, Xcom, Ciribob and rest of Blue Flag team for all your hard work, once again I had a blast. Now to figure out how to stay alive in the F5.... JD AKA_MattE
