Well, I just got my rift a couple of weeks ago and I'm still blown away each time I fly DCS with it... I can't imagine flying without it now. YMMV but I would go for the rift after experiencing it. If you have a buddy nearby that has one you could try I would recommend it strongly! EDIT: I had a GTX970 when I first bought it and it was acceptable, but seeing I had the money I also bought a GTX1080 to go with it.

Geez, I used to have... I'm spacing the name of this cushion right now... but you'd put it behind your back and it does exactly what you're talking about, but it broke on me many years ago... Was cool while I had it! As much as I like the out doors, being inside is really cool!! ;)

OM f'ing G! I've read/heard about the OR for over a year now and never really got excited about getting one. Last year my wife even asked me if I was going to get one and I said no, which surprised her. Well, after talking with a particular friend that had just recently gotten one I was motivated to try one out. It came last Friday... OM f'ing G!!! is all I can say. I can't believe I waited this long to jump on board... It is much better than I was expecting but still has a long way to go, imho. But I can't imagine flying without it now... This has to be worse than crack! lol I was so impressed that I upgraded my GTX970 for a GTX1080SC... WTH, you only live once and I have no kids! (except myself that is...)

Yes, I meant the textures. I know the mission is not corrupted. Just restarting DCS doesn't fix it for me. I then deleted my Saved Games folder once again and started the game and exited. I then restored the folder from the Recycling Bin and overwrote all files. Problem still there. Delete the folder again, started DCS and then started a mission. Restored the folder but did not overwrite any files. Textures fixed! Now I'm going to restore the settings and options files and see what happens. EDIT: So restoring my settings, options, modules, and login options luas gave me back everything I needed setting wise and the textures are still fine. This is really quite an odd experience we are having with this. Don't you just love computers! :D

Yeah, I'm real good at throwing wrenches into things... been that way my whole life! ;) Hmmm, I'm going to have to go try and see if I can make it happen now... hasn't been back since my last "fix" routine. EDIT: Yes, confirmed here also. I went into a mission that I had set for Oct. already and changed it to June, saved it and then changed it back and the textures are all screwed up! Now let's hope I can get them back just as easily...
