  1. ok its fixed and working now. I set the standard group size to 21 (which acts as limit unless overriden) and changed the default group for an Mi-8 to consist of a total of 20 troopers. for our Hueys, I added a second group only consisting of 8 and added the override- limit for the huey to be 8.
  2. thats what I thought too, will test as soon as I can!
  3. mmh when I try to extract a group of 20 infantry I get the CTLD message that the group of 20 is too large, limit for the Mi-8 is 20. attached is my version of the script CTLD.lua
  4. Great to have you in the community, that is great initiative!
  5. It's amazing get one for sure!
  6. I have tried to cut the video from the 3+ hours raw footage into a more comprehensive video. It should show the general flow from Taxi, takeoff, checking with AWACS, up to the CAS flow. I hope you enjoy it. I fly only in the rift, so please do excuse the camera shake, and jitter that comes with recording VR gameplay
  7. very hard to pick, there is only great people on the list who have done so much for DCS and this community. For me, personally, Sven's Moose is the winner by a huge margin.
  8. This helped me a lot, I went from 20 fps with low settings to now constant 45 fps (ASW) in the rift, including deferred shading, MSAA, AA, 1.6 PD, HDR etc even on a map with hundreds of planes and ground targets and flying low over the strip (local version of the 476th map) Im supper happy with it, thanks!!
  9. Cibit, Id love to see that, can you share that miz file :D
  10. Its a huge gamechanger. After deleting the savedgames folder (and putting back input, so I dont have to redo the keybinds) I can crank up everything in nevada again! 1.7 OD, MSAA, AA, everything on and my fps never went below 45 flying low over vegas!! thanks ED!!!
  11. awwesome!! also, I want to say thanks again for the 2.1 update. After deleting my saved games folder and letting the game rebuild it, NTTR runs like a champ in VR on my rig! Lighting is super promising and I cant even imagine how cool it will look when the remaining bugs are ironed out!
  12. Hi Chris, willkommen! Ist ein klasse Hobby es wird Dir hier bestimmt gefallen :)
  13. BIG THANK YOU!!!!!
  14. Thanks for coming, Yurgon! Impressive job well done, Sir. Looking forward to our next run :D
  15. ooh nice!! does it mean you also found a fix for DAWS Weather, or is that unrelated to this fix?
  16. I agree touch itself is amazing, the tracking and hand movement feels totally natural. It wont work for me in DCS, because, while flying, my hands are actually below the desk so the touch would lose track, but for non-DCS stuff (robo recall, anyone?) its crazy fun. Oh and ED, I think a simple checkbox to enable or disable the 'experimental' touch support would be great really
  17. maybe youre just adding too much collective, try by not pulling the collective all the way up and find the sweet spot just before you add too much
  18. haha I remember this one! When I was new to the A10, first thing after teh training misisons was to play this campaign. Tried about 30 times to beat OP Hammerfall, just too bloody brilliant and what an evil mission design :P I remember to get a mav on the Strela but you need to be quick and get a lock really fast. I never dared climbing over the mountains above the weather for JDAMs because I found it just too damn scary to descent into this terrain again with zero vision, even though the TAD helps you finding the valleys Real pilots must have balls of steels :O
  19. great!! Fingers crossed :D
  20. I ran the mission yesterday. The 'january bug' is still there, so I loaded up all missions and changed the month from Jan to Feb, thats an easy fix. Apart from that, I did the TACAN tasking and followed it to the letter, I was precisely on the 180 radial 20nm out of the 44X TACAN station and thats where the AI flight (COLT I think it was) was, so I rejoined with them and flew formation for half an hour but the trigger to advance the mission to the next stage never fired. When low on fuel I RTBed and fortunately the mission was still counted as a success so I can fly the next one. Enjoying the campaign immensely Baltic Dragon, like all your campaigns! edit: didnt have a crash
  21. yes, thats how it works. If you train it a little, it becomes amazingly accurate. So in the software you do it like this: when I say: "Gear up" then send keypress to DCS, -> press "G-Key", hold for 0,1 seconds, then release the key just as an example. You can set it up to do anything you like it works very well.
  22. Thanks Mustang, I loved your previous versions already, cant wait to test the latest one!! We highly appreciate your work Sir, thank you so much!
  23. That explains why our friendly mirage pilots got swarmed yesterday by hostile CAP that was supposed to be idling on the apron haha
