You should know what ordnance you carry cmon... I use jester quite good whithout any need of the ugly wheel, it takes a few flights to get used to it. If it ever be implemented to show up I hope to be optional as the wheel sux. This is why I use vaicom, to get rid of the wheel. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

Better to call the bandit when you also see it rather than not to call it and to shoot you down. You can always tell him to shut up if you wish. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

Tested again. Confirmed it's the wings moving forward. Thanks [emoji4] Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

It brakes integrity check iirc, so SP only Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

Could be, but the wings move up with speed decrease, speed decrease occur with pitch up. If it is trimmed for speed nose drops to keep the speed therefore wings will not move. Will certainly test it again later. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

Flying straight and level angels 20, 350ias, reaching TOD and moving throttle to idle to start decending, not touching the stick neither trim, instead of going down, nose starts to pitch up as high as 20-30 degrees until speed goes around 200ias and then it started to nose down. Once speed started to build up again to around 300, it starts to pitch up again and so on... Why this happens, isn't it suppose to decent when you decrease throttle ? I have this issue with the Phoenix as well sometimes. I have the priority numbers, 1 is hooked and blinking lunch from 35 miles and no tti timer appears and Phoenix goes dumb Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

Yeah probably right, the red guys should be already used to that feeling ;)

Let me put a few points to all the crying eastern Aircraft fanboys around, I really don't want to jump into this "war" but I will write it. You guys complain about being shot down by aim54 as you believe it is unrealistic. Now let's consider the advantages of the FC3 russian fighters you like to fly(I do as well): 1. IRST -> In FC3 this is very simplified to balance the FC3 module, In real live, this is very unreliable system at that period of time, one of the reasons why western aircraft doesn't have it as irl there is no point of it. The detection range is low and depends a lot on atmospheric conditions like clouds, humidity, sun etc... in real life situation would be different as you would fly in very cluterred airspace, many assets, aircrafts, awacses, civil etc... you can't just lock some object and lunch on it, and the iff with a flick of the radar like in FC3 will not work, more on iff later. AWACS, GCI and AD is also much more complex IRL so fly low to stay hidden will not work as in dcs, so again, you wont be hidden just because you have turned of your radar. 2. Datalink - Just think about it, what was the Soviet wireless data transmit technology during late 80s ? It is likely extremely limited in range and refresh rate for sure. IFF again will not be so simple as in FC3 datalink. Number of targets are limited to just a few, exchange between assets and the way it is presented is also limited. All this is very simplified in FC3. Needless to say they didn't put F-15 datalink to balance FC3 even tho in the late 80s US already had early GPS and internet already developed so 99% f-15 datalink is way ahead of the su27. Take ka-50 --> Late 90s bird and the data link is veeery primitive 3. IFF.. well not much to say here for FC3. Very simplified. 4. CPU power. Now all radar, datalink, weapon control systems etc... requires computation power be able to calculate and present target/navigation information accurately, and this is where Soviets was (and still are, good that nowaday technology is not so secret anymore so they can import) a lot behind. Just compare a Russian CPU to a US one... same goes to all electronics and digital tech. There is much more to be said, but I will stop here. Don't get me wrong, I also fly Su27/J11 and have fun with them in 104th or other servers. But I realize that if those get modeled correctly aka like the Hornet/F-14 or other full fidelity modules, they would be much more inferior than they currently are. So complaining for aim54 characteristics which you probably have no idea about, just because "it doesn't look realistic to you as irl they missed a few times" is just... nonsense.

Intercom check you have to answer "loud and clear" he asks you if you hear him well, or checking the intercom for operation :)
-
He starts the full alignment without asking him as soon as you start engines and disconnect the air supply.

Same here, to have both will not hurt but I assume it is technical limitation currently, I don't see other reason to have it completely off. I tested it in a combat yesterday and it worked just fine, surely can be better but with practice when the commands become more intuitive it will work flawlessly. I have played with scan ranges, scan elevations and azimuth and the STT options and it is recognizing well. @Hollywood_315, However I noticed an issue, when you tell him to scan range 400, he gets stuck and if followed by scan range 100 he tries to STT, to get him back to work, I told him to scan range 50. What I would like to have(and probably why the wheel option is also good to have as backup) 1. Be able to input manual waypoints 2. Tell him to Set V/UHF radio known mission frequency, pretty much same as the wheel functions like "tune radio to texaco" 3. Set TACAN channels and switch between x/y for tuning Tankers and carriers. TACAN is pain to operate with the mouse right now in VR so I was using RIO for that purpose quite often. 4. Hot mic, hope to have it soon, pressing the ptt is a bit annoying and really slow, which become an issue in combat, sometimes when you hurry you clip the messages and recognition fails 5. INS align commands, as I don't want to wait for full alignment always. Sometimes I just go to startup, lunch, do some tanker practice and some traps, so I just interrupt the alignment as soon as I get the diamond symbol. Thanks and keep up with the good work!

Here are my default .lua config files for warthog joystick, before and after running voiceattack: https://my.pcloud.com/publink/show?code=kZ9HL67Z7NR1vPRyySkTb0eRjKJPFY7U6w27

I didn't loose all the keybinds but it messed up my Warthog joystick only control bindings for f-14, rest or the bindings are ok. Haven't tried repair or other modules yet.

Thanks! Will give it a try.

Does anyone have one where the AB detent matches ? By default for me, when I hit the detent on my throttle, in game it is about at 95% rpm and the stick in game looks slightly before the mil line. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

Hollywood_315 what are your plans for VAICOM if/when ED implement new AI/ATC logic ? Do you plan to re-design to make it compaitible ? They also work on new ATC for Carriers which should be coming rather soon than later (2 weeks ?) I bought vaicom and oh man what a difference... it works suprisingly well. Honestly I was a bit pesimistic about the voice reckognition quality and remembering all the commands but it turns out work good so far as long as you spent the time to slowly practice different aspects of it.

Damn can't wait to test RIO today and get rid of the annoying menu wheel. Thank you!
-
Do you have such ? Or may be you have a Soviet fighter and a bunch of r27 to shoot around to test them so you know better than the original manual charts ? Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

No one forces you to play DCS, of you don't like it you can always go and play ace combat or other more "realistic" simulators on the market. I don't understand this crying about missiles, how on Earth you or some other kid playing computer games knows how a missile will behave ? Reality is different and will always be, there are countless of variables which can't be simulated even by NASA let a side a home based pc flight sim. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

+1, this should have been high priority issue even prior to releasing F/A-18. My guess is it will be fixed in the new carriers which are currently WIP.

Thanks a lot Raffson. Will try to see how it works Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk -
I have similar experience, have tried it only against bots so far mig-21/23s and pk is about 10%, in fact it hit only one 21 iirc out of at least 8-10 shots in tws from 30-35 miles at angels 20 Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

Why not just fix it's position if it is really wrong instead of completely remove it ? I don't want to remove it.

+1, this worth to be checked.
