  1. Same here, CMS hat forward. I have also used the pickle button in the past worked fine as well, but I find the CMS fwd better.
  2. Well, we don't know yet, if we get similar flowless tracking with lack of external sensors that would be great. Looking forward for it. I have some issues with the sensors now: 1. I am already short on usb ports having already 12 in use with 2 additional usb cards. So 2 free usb 3 ports are very welcomed. 2. Sometimes I can get out of Sensors coverage especially with the hand controllers, but happens sometimes for the hmd as well. Moving my head down my front panel with mfds and ufc get on the sensors way. Overall two devices with their cables less in the already cable spaghetti mess is always good :)
  3. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=231949 No news from ED tho :(
  4. If you follow this thread, you will see that I support with both hands this to be paid upgrade to BS3 and I am willing to pay full module price for it. I never asked for it to be free, so please familiarize with what the thread is all about before posting. Thanks.
  5. I wonder if you would say the same if there was 2132131 updates for the Shark and other RWs with new Farps, RW ATC and RW modules and content and fixes coming every week and nothing for the f-18/14, carriers and other navy bla bla. And the only promised update gets delayed from the end of 2018 for unknown state/date in the future because devs are busy with the Helicopters. Does the carrier hornet/tomcat fans would be patient to wait a few more years without expressing their feelings in the forum ?
  6. Yep, this would make a bit more sense, press the button and the marker appear after X seconds, simulating you actually spent time to calculate it and the accuracy is X miles and X degrees. It would still be unrealistic tho as it removes the requirement to track the time and speed, fly with constant speed and be able to actually do the math while flying instead of simply press a button.
  7. Did people that flew on Cessna at 1945- 1980 had an Ipad or gps on board ? Do your markers on the dcs map the same way as in your cessna, not by pressing left ctrl+k then it will be realistic.
  8. For some, which can't navigate without it, it will be. The rest, probably don't use it anyway. There are servers such as Korea and Cold war, where navigation is part of the challenge. This arcadish "feature" totally removes that challenge. It should be in the gameplay "options" and to be possible to force it enabled/disabled in the ME like any other gamey feature.
  9. Could be, I am no pilot, in any case irl you have but feel while the spring in the stick is only feel you have in dcs. It is already difficult to "sense" the heli, removing the spring makes it even worst. At least from my experience Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  10. First quarter of the year passing and there is "0" news on the Ka-50 upgrade :(
  11. Is it still working in 2.5 ? If yes, is it possible to be modified so once under fire and suppressed, units will run and try to relocate ? Thanks!
  12. Warthog with original spring and 120mm extension works very well for RW. Longer leg gives you more precision which is very important and it has very light centering force, enough to provide you some feedback where your stick is. Real RW does have centering force, but trimming moves the center wherever the stick is when you trim. Without any spring is quite annoying, at least from my experience.
  13. Still sea looks like land on ABRIS after last patch on Caucasus. Very Annoying. ED if you will put low priority at the old modules, at least try not to bring new issues to them, as every new bug we know we will have to live with it for a long time :(
  14. AI differ from frame to frame. Mav, is it so easy for you to beat AI on excellent mig-15 with a saber ? Or in F-5 vs F-5 ? Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  15. Just a few threads below: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=174468
  16. Dcs warbirds are way better than that other fc3 like sim. It is the quantity and the war environment and atmosphere where dcs is lacking but this is about to change as well. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  17. @Kegetys is there any way to make your gamma fix to pass IC ? Thanks
  18. Same here, doesn't work with vaicom unfortunately.
  19. Engage the afterburner and it "dumps" it quite fast ;)
  20. Why such threads has to even exist ? They said years ago they will release f-14 A and B, what is so difficult for people to understand ?
  21. Hm.. I don't fly it so often but I do from time to time and I can land it perfectly fine, not more difficult to 29 or F-5. Certainly not more difficult than executing CASE 1 with either Hornet or F-14 and far easier than any of the war birds including Mustang. At least for me. I agree on his points about AoA and visibility, you can drop like a rock if you go slow and pull too much alpha, but similar can be said for the 15 -> go too fast in a dive and you will crash in the ground before you realize it, pull too much alpha with the f-14 and here it goes in a flat spin... Beating an F-5 with a mig-21 is one of the most challenging fights against a capable F-5 tho, I agree. But in the other hand, dropping ground ordnance with the 21 is easier than the F-5. So I said "Master" is very subjective. Tactics, Piloting, Fighting, Systems - all posses different challenges in different aspects and specifics. Neither is easy to master but surely some are easier to Fly than others.
  22. Mig-21 is not above average, even tho "Master" is quite subjective. There many birds in DCS which are more likely to kill you from Piloting perspective. Other than that the 21 is pretty basic aircraft to learn and limited in roles and employment. Certainly I would not place it in such list. Hornet is Harder to "Master" than A-10C as you have to learn at least 3 roles - A/A, A/G, SEAD. While A-10 is pretty much A/G only. Systems are easiest part on any module, just read the manual. Tactics for combat employment is the most difficult part for Mastering and since the Hornet as a multirole covers pretty much everything I find it most difficult to Master from more modern parts of the game. For Piloting, WW2 birds can be quite challenging but I would point out FW190 as it is veery difficult to even take off without TO assistance, it takes a lot of practice to get used to play with the rudder.
  23. Disable HOT MIC in EX airio settings Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  24. This is DCS issue rather than VR. On a monitor you just have much higher zoom so if you know where to look, you zoom 10x in order to see, otherwise it is the same sh*t. At least from my experience. Against terrain and/or sea, it is even worst..
