  1. This should probably be in the bugs and problems section.
  2. Also Ugra, I have noticed you guys definitely upped your game when it came to cliffs/mountains based on the latest Mi-24 trailer: I wonder if we will see similar cliffs/rock faces where appropriate on the Syrian mainland (my suspicion is that this may be Cryprus?)? Truly fantastic work @MAESTR0.
  3. Ok, we are talking about two different things, as Syria will get an update with 2.7, but not Cyprus expansion.
  4. Fantastic work and really great to hear eastern euphrates will get more attention too! This without a doubt is the gold standard of maps in DCS, and I look forward to gifting it to some friends so they too can enjoy your labour of love! I hope you all are very proud of what you have achieved so far and what is yet to come, your attention to detail and further additions to work are at least resulting in some more sales from my end Take care and continue your great work MAESTR0 and other members of the Ugra team!
  5. Source regarding Syrian expansion not being included in 2.7? Even the newsletter stated the next update will include a number of improvements to Syria. Note: I am not talking about cyprus here, which I expect will take quite a while longer still. However, from the newsletter and Ugras wording it sounds like a lot of the updates already shown (eg H4 airfield, improvements to Israel/Golan heights, new turkish airfield, etc) will be included in the next update in addition to bug fixes on the Syria terrain. I have yet to see information to the contrary of this.
  6. I am choosing to report this ahead of time, based on the ATFLIR introduction video released on 25/03/2021. Bug: North arrow graphic is using the (incorrect) LITENING style north arrow, which appears as follows: However, real life ATFLIR displays use a different style of north arrow, illustrated as follows: (Full size source image of ATFLIR in point track): I would like to see the North arrow be updated to reflect the real world equivelant for this sensor. Additionally, it also has the benefit of significantly greater readability in addition to being accurate to the real world ATFLIR symbology. This webpage illustrates the symbology well by utilising vector graphics as further reference: https://forums.vrsimulations.com/support/index.php/A/G_Advanced_Targeting_FLIR_(ATFLIR)
  7. A significant update to Syria including bug fixes is coming next update (2.7, currently slated for 31/03) so hopefully this may be part of the fixes.
  8. NAVFLIR was not something that was part of our block of hornets, and bignewy already confirmed it will NOT be part of the F/A-18 module.
  9. The poster you are replying to is aware H-4 is coming, hence why he said "so I'm happy H-4 is coming to this area".
  10. I strongly would like to add to the request of Deir ez-zor, would love to see the airfield (and surrounding area) if it is in a state ready for show. Definitely the area I'm most looking forward to flying in. Looking forward to recreating this mission in particular: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_2016_Deir_ez-Zor_air_raid Thanks, Yoyo
  11. Looks beautiful, I hope areas in eastern Syria get a similar detail pass. Great work Ugra really looking forward to see what changes will be in 2.7!
  12. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/support_ticket/ (specifically the first 3 section, proceed to section 2-3 if .crash/.log files are not present already)
  13. Make sure you include crash logs/track files with your report, otherwise the information provided is too limited to help in solving the issue.
  14. Agreed with @shu77, this is more in the ED department than Ugra. That said, I also agree that such factions would be useful to include in the game. Also, insurgent technicals are under active development currently so hopefully we'll see them in the the base game reasonably soon (though I suspect we may not see them until the apache release).

    Borders

You can click on the 'map' button in the mission editor to more clearly see country borders.
  16. Can reproduce on DCS 2.5.6.61527.3 Open Beta using steps outlined in video. This mission editor bug only affects aerial units in a group (ground units are unaffected, and can be moved regardless of zoom level).
  17. @MAESTR0 will we get another video update this week? Have really enjoyed the last two weeks of reveals for the new airports and areas Ugra has worked on. Thanks
  18. Addendum from a discord conversation on this same topic. Posting here so it does not get lost on discord. Effectively the same information but explained in a slightly different way.
  19. Is there any possibility we might get a video demonstration before release? Sounds like interesting tech. Might also help settle a lot of the low/high expectations if it is a bit clearer what the result looks like.
  20. SCUD issue is unrelated to the sigma value, it's due to the missile trajectory calculation assuming completely flat ground at launch location, therefore any angular offset of the unit will introduce a significant error to the trajectory. The linked report explains this further.
  21. That's because the Rb-15F has an artificially fudged damage output to achieve this; in real life it has a smaller warhead than the harpoon. You can confirm this yourself by comparing the game lua files for both missiles.
  22. Yeah a bit of a pointless weapon currently, anti-ship tasks just aren't fun in DCS currently with the lack of proper ship damage models and lack of effectiveness for harpoons.
  23. Agreed. I would much rather see more of the current area i.e. northeastern syria, and the euphrates river banks east of Raqqah fleshed out, which saw the majority of CJTF-OIR air support in the past 7 years. Expanding the map further south would be very time consuming as the rest of Israel (especially the city of Jerusalem) would take a significant development effort to complete, particularly given the high density of unique buildings. This makes such an expansion quite more time and resource consuming than it seems at face value. That said, if they were capable of doing it, I would be in support of such an expansion.
  24. We are talking about the country list in game, not as a map. Also would be incredibly unrealistic, can't say I've seen a single US ship or plane in the last 15 years... Would be a terrible choice of map.
