As a way of offering a discount to STEAM users, why not have a discount offer of purchasing the Hornet and Persian Gulf map together as a bundle? Was that considered in all the decision making going on at ED?

yeah, the wording of the previous statement on the FAQ implies that because pre-release purchasing of the Hornet is not possible on STEAM, that is why for the first week of release on STEAM, the Hornet would be discounted... At least that is how I read it. With that said, I am happy that we STEAM users can get our filthy paws on the Hornet and Persian Gulf map sooner so I can enjoy flying online with my buds. But I too am disappointed that as a STEAM user I am not given the opportunity for some savings on launch. If it is at all possible to do for the STEAM user base, I would seriously evaluate re-considering that decision on the part of ED. As, I have read for the past hour it is inflaming STEAM DCS users... Mis-communication or not, it was clearly stated that STEAM users would have the same discount that standalone pre-purchasers would have for a 1 week period. And the reason given is because STEAM users are unable to pre-purchase the Hornet module. I can see both sides of the argument, and i'm not picking sides but this has the makings of splitting the DCS community, STEAM vs. Standalone even more... As does Open beta vs. Stable branches.

The warning tone sound you hear every time you go past 30 AOA when landing gear is retracted... With gear extended it is returned. When gear retracted: it is removed in later versions of the F-15C... Instead you have a yaw rate tone warning you of yaw rate build up which may lead to departure of the aircraft into a spin.

For the Iranian Tomcats, Khark island is a must... Alot of Iraqi incursions around that area were thwarted by patrolling Iranian Tomcats.

When is this coming out onto STEAM, i'm looking forward to trying it out... I have both of the F-5E campaigns you guys made, and I can't manage to smack the AI around in the F-5E. Hope I can do better in the F-15C.

Are we going to get more aggressors skins? I know they fly the F/A-18A and not the C, but I would like them all included.

I think it might be because of asymetric weapon loads... IE: in alot of the missions you have only ACMI pod and pylon on one wing and on the other it is clean without any pylon.

yes, but doesn't that stop you from selecting what stage afterburner you wish to be in? Such as in the F-15... IE you can only select full afterburner instead of stages 1-5?

yes, for naval aviation that is true... However, USAF aircraft such as F-16 and F-15 AFAIK you do need to flare to cushion your landing because the landing gear is not designed to take heavy impacts like naval aviation aircraft such as the F-18 are.

put the big W between the 10 and 15 lines, no higher that that... on the pitch scale and hold it there until the nose comes down by itself.

I want just a normal landing approach in the F-15C or F-15E... In particular i'm looking to see the flare for landing, the velocity vector, the AOA, and the Waterline marker.

Yes, I understand that... However there are people out there that think otherwise... I was just saying the fictional skins are not the ones used by aggressor squadrons, but rather ED made them based on Russian federation aircraft.
