I for one would love to see a buccaneer in DCS. I personally hope you guys can get third party developer status and access to the DCS SDK so you can create a full fidelity module with great functionality and possibly even dual cockpit. Good luck and I will monitor your progress eagerly.

Last night I decided to fly an anti-ship mission using both mk-82s and snakeyes and I was able to hit the ships in about 80% of runs. The problem is that some ships such as destroyers can take many bombs to the chest without showing any sign of damage or sinking. A few ships do start burning once hit such as the tankers and cargo ships and the Russian small missile covervette. I am now designing a small coop mission to destroy some ships and so can any recommend some appropriate Russian warships that can be destroyed using a normal loadout of mk-82s or snakeyes?

Same issue here, I try to avoid flying over forests!

Funny that no one has mentioned the possibility of a preorder period. Do we think ED have stopped the use of preorders for new third party devs?

+2 Or at the very least two key bindings instead of 3 so instead of 45,30 &15 you can have increase or decrease scan area.

Mattbubben, could agree more. I would prefer to see more vintage jets as they are complex enough yet generally unclassified so a higher level of accuracy can be reached. Of all the vintage jets I would love to see the English Electric Lightning so RAZBAM please consider developing this.

This Loadout did not use any similar ordnance since GBUs are not similar to Unguided bombs and they each have separate selections on the PCA. In an NTTR mission I have I created I have been using magics, gbu-12s and Mk-82s as a Loadout and all these weapon types show up on the PCA so I know that guided munitions and unguided bombs can be used also alongside each other. So how come I couldn't use both bomb types in the situation described in post 1? Do certain combinations not work together? Is the aircraft limited to 4 munition types including external fuel tanks? Is this a bug?

While playing tonight, I selected a mixed loadout of 2xmagics, 2x530s, 2xGBU-12s, 2xMk82 Snakeyes and a centre fuel tank. But in the PCA, only MAG, 530, EF1 and RP were displayed meaning I could not use the Snakeyes as there was no BF1. Is this correct meaning that only one type of A2G munition can be used or should BF1 have been displayed in the PCA as well? To clarify this mission was in 1.5.3 and no cockpit mods were used.

So I would need to buy a new router and a new wifi adapted for my PC? This is starting to sound expensive.

So the LL switch is used for deploying decoys so how do this switch differ to the countermeasure box on the left near the canopy as both of them control decoys? Also the D2M switch is for IR detection, how does it indicate an IR detection to the pilot and does the mirage have an IR jammer like the frogfoot?

I am thinking of buying a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge (unsure which one at the moment) and it will come with a free Gear VR headset. Could anyone please answer the following questions: Will my setup be man enough to run it at highish settings? What refresh rate will I need? What resolution does it run at? Is the 3D worth using? Can the phone be tethered to the PC rather than wifi streaming? I use my wifi to play online and so I am worried about using it for VR streaming at the same time and latency issues. Can the 3dof of the phone and trackir be used to create a one:one 6dof system? I was thinking of using the VR 3dof for rotation and trackir for position but can't think of a way to get around the trackir not seeing the IR markers when looking over my shoulder. The 42nd VFG have launched an NTTR server that has series of zones and a capture the flag system using helicopter delivered troops and force ratios in zone to calculate capture. On this server KA-50s, A-10s and SU-25Ts provide A2G support to the Helos and PvP CAP and GCI is M2000C vs Mig-21. We are also using the mirage for ground strikes and a JTAC can be dropped off by helicopters so the M2000C can used GBUs to destroy enemy targets in each zone.

Zeus, will there be a way of moving the TDC left or right without also changing the radars azimuth? This would be useful for when you are intercepting a target along the aircraft's heading and so want to keep the radar pointing forward to maximise the chances of detection but while doing so you want to interrogate a radar contact that appears at the edge of you scan area.

Dispute whether or not it is renders across the whole map, different maps will in my opinion benefit from different settings for example in straits of Homuz, water on high will be a priority over terrain textures where as in NTTR it will be the opposite. I don't want to have to change the settings each time I use a different map.

I am the same but at 60FPS as my monitor is 60Hz.

I find using trackir to be very jerky and unpleasant.

What does the affinitymask=12 do?
