Probably not much can be done here since it is a mod and the only person who actually knows what it does fully are the authors. I would try contacting them

I don't get it... - Some people don't like the map, some people do. - There is no denying that the people who like the map are a larger majority than those who dont. (take unique posters either for or against and compare against the opposite) - Nevada is the first map to use EDGE, as such, it would make logical sense for it to be something not as large scale as the Black Sea map. - The map is being made and will not be changed to something else because people have concerns about "realistic scenarios" - All points that people bring up as to why Nevada is a bad choice has been voiced before. Although Pythia once said "All this has happened before. All this will happen again."... Why is there still hostility/ confusion/ arguments about it?

What the above poster said. The reason is because Ubisoft owns the IP of Lockon and this was the terms to release FC3. Aircrafts from the Lockon titles are being released on their own without this restriction and are/ will be IDENTICAL to the ones in FC3. A-10a and Su-25 have already been released as such standalone products
