  1. I guess I'll have to since there was still no update this Wednesday... Anyway, since it's only Clutter/grass, it may really not be a big deal. I thought it was about the trees (and reducing this below 100% looks weird).
  2. The time frame also was no problem to me, but I'd say the controller plays a big role. I remember playing Argo or other sling load missions with a HOTAS before I had collective/cyclic/pedals. It always took me ages to to trim/hover and to finally hook the cargo. So keep that in mind ;-) With "proper" controllers, the time frame is not a real problem IMO, but you can't expect everybody to have collective/controller/pedals.
  3. You can always use time compression to shorten the waiting time.
  4. I noticed that there's quite some traffic around the airport or e.g. moving cars or soldiers at some LZ which gives it more life. To me, there's maybe a bit too much waiting time at the airport in mission 1 and 2. It's ok if you play the mission the first time. If you have to replay a mission, then it can be slightly "annoying" (however, time compression is your friend in that case). During the formation flight in mission 1, I focused on Wolf 1 which means I probably did not noticed all the details (unless Wolf 1 was talking about air traffic). Mission 1 felt slightly too long to me - at least the formation flight to the ship and back. Mission 2 felt right to me, except that I didn't finish it yet due tot he "known issue" with the AI not landing at the LZ. But I guess the missions are in general "quite long". I flew mission 3 of Border Campaign yesterday which was 35 minutes and that was right to me. Overall, I'd say 45-50 minutes would be perfect, but it of course also depends on the tasks (45 minutes flying just straight is boring). Doing the 4 short sling loads in mission 2 was nice even though I wouldn't have need the time pressure of the sliding Wolf 1. Some of the spelling mistakes really should be corrected though (stuff like look/lock, sure/Shure, How/huw). It can be seen that you put a lot of time into the missions and so far the story seems to develop. I'm curious to see how it continues. My very first opinion (before I bought the campaign) was "oh...Batumi again :-/". I wish there would be other areas or other maps for future campaigns. However, the good thing was that I looked at the briefing of mission 1 and I knew exactly where to fly to without even have to plan the flight. The area is well known ;-) I'd say once the spelling mistakes and the issues/bugs who prevent people to continue the campaign are fixed, we'll have a really fine campaign. I may comment on it again once I finished all the missions. So far, thanks for the campaign.
  5. Probably too early to give a feedback after only 2 missions. So far, the difficulty feels ok to me. Nothing impossible so far. Somtimes it's not easy to follow the AI in formation when they're doing sharp turn.
  6. I should have read that BEFORE flying mission 2....;-) Took me probably 10 minutes until I figured out that the AI really won't make it. Looks like I have to wait for the update in that case (I don't want to reduce the amount of trees).
  7. Mission 2 is the one with the UH-1H ;-) Just kidding. I had inverter on Spare On instead on Main On. That's why the startup probably was not looked at "finished" and that's why no further events were triggered.
  8. PS I tried a 3rd time (no success). I sent you a link to the trk file on Discord.
  9. A whole convoy of trucks is moving along the taxi way. Edit: Looks like you deleted the question about the truck...
  10. I have another problem. When I start up the Huey, nothing happens anymore. It worked fine on my first attempt (tower told me to go to the runway), but I now tried several times again and after the speech of Wolf 1, nothing is gonna happen. Therefore I decided to simply start, but that won't work because the event at the harbour won't trigger then (no green smoke and message to climb to 500 feet again). So I wonder what I'm missing? I started up the helicopter, turned on all radios, set to preset 2 as well as intercom 2. So what else has to be fullfilled to trigger the next event? I tried twice today, but same problem again. Unfortunately I forgot to save the trk file.
  11. Completely forgot about that campaign after a longer DCS break but finally started mission 2 today. It says to call comand once you're at the 43.00 homing. How do I do that? I was at the correct location (co-pilot told me I'm arriving at the front line or something like this), but I did not have e.g. a F10 option or something similiar. So how do I trigger the next event? Event though I already mentioned it, but just having F10 map with the markers is absolutely the way I like it :-)
  12. Yes, mods were turned off. I just had a look at the recorded session. Yes, there was quite some time between the "Weapons free" command and the explosion (around 90 seconds). But my door gunners simply didn't fire earlier because I first thought I can take them out with the gun. Therefore I was probably in a bad angle for the door gunners. So yeah, simply bad luck I remained close to the cars. Something different though. On the flight back from the frigate, there was one strange message (LSO: Grade:_OK : _F_X WIRE#2). See screenshot. That looks more like sort of a debug? Or is that really an intended message?
  13. yeah, they started firing and 2 seconds later I exploded, haha. Well, will retry another day and I'll keep my distance as soon as I'm allowed to take 'em out.
  14. The problem is that it says you need to stay close to the cars. So what options do I have? The cars drive onto the bridge and they explode there.
  15. Ok, it indeed was a mod issue. Everything went fine after that (except that I exploded near the 2nd bridge for no obvious reason - I guess I was simply too close to the bridge when there was the explosion).
  16. I think I once had the civil traffic mod installed, but I checked with OvGME and it's not there. Anyway, it might be a mod thing, so I should probably disable all for testing. The C-130 explodes already on the taxi way. I'll also have a look at the saved track file and report back again. If all fails, then I'll text you on Discord.
  17. Tried again - same result C-130 in flames and mission end.
  18. I just started mission one but it ended before the hover check. It seems like the C-130 crashed and this forced the mission to end? See screenshot. Well, I'll give it another try. Maybe just "bad luck" with the AI?
  19. Thank you for the hint on the ABRIS. I'll take a look at it and I'll retry the mission.
  20. Well, a friend of mine replied by mail. Looks like I should have searched more carefully for troops (coming from the mountain toward the river). Around 2/3 or the troops must be eliminated for a mission success. After that I should have landed ON the bridge.
  21. I tried mission 8 today (Gone missing) but I dont' really understand what I have to do. When I approach the target area (flying above the mountain), I'm told that the enemy shall be moving along the river. I search along the river (no idea if to the West or East, but I went West) but I did not see any enemies. When getting closer to the West, Eagle says he's requesting to land. I get a bearing (?) of 357, but I'm also told to land at the bridge (?). Maybe it's just a translation thing, but I landed near one of the bridge and nothing happened. I also checked the F2 view but there's no landing pad or anything close to this location. I checked the kneeboard and saw that Delta should be a bit more to the North, so I headed there...but nothing. After maybe 50 minutes of flying around and not knowing what to do at all, I decided to quit. So can you please somebody explain clearly what to do? The briefing and the voice overs are not clear in my opinion.
  22. Since the last 2 updates, the DCS updater always seems to hang when it tries to remove obsolete files. And it seems to take almost all ressources (everything else takes forever to react, e.g. to close a program/window). I always have to restart the PC and to run the updater again. It then continues normally. DCS Updater version: 2.9.8.81
  23. I'm glad I was able to help. Also nice to hear you like my videos :-)
  24. He only takes control if you use the gunsight, right? When I fly a GS, I always switch to the co-pilot before take off and I press alt-a (IIRR) to disable the autopilot. If you then switch to the pilot and back to the co-pilot, the autopilot remains disabled. As for the gunsight, I'm working with voice attack there. So when I switch to pilot/co-pilot, I also send over the command for the gunsight.
  25. our last mutiplayer mission (Vietnam based, cinematic) at the 229th B company:
