  1. It's visible now. Thanks a lot!
  2. Thank you, but what additional briefing file are you talking about? Well, I'll probably simply "try" the mission ;-)
  3. So mission 5 is currently not playable until ED released the update/bugfix? Since I just finished mission 4 (which was nice btw), I probably need to wait in that case?
  4. Maybe my pitch was once too high when slowing down. Vertical speed limit for sure never was more than 4m/s. In a way it would be nice if the co-pilot would give you a short message like "pay attention on your pitch" if you exceed it. This way you'd know that you messed it up ;-)
  5. You really must have had a "rough" flight in that case? :music_whistling: @Forexkor To avoid falling back one mission, I'd simply set a variable that is "true" once the score is down at 51. If this variable is true, don't reduce the score anymore when exceeding the limits. This way you make sure that you're not falling back to mission 1 and that you proceed to mission 3. And I'm just wondering about the point/score system. Is it -1 for every time you're over the limits? Or how are the "penalties"? I really flew very smooth and I made very, very wide turns to not exceed the 11° banking (and I for sure never exceeded the vertical limit), but in the end I had 97 points and not 100 - which means I must have exceeded the limits shortly? Anyway, I'll accept that and I won't re-fly even though I would have liked 100 points
  6. Ok, I see what you mean. I had no issues there, but maybe I was just lucky? I landed really close to the flags (actually that close that I would have killed my rotor blades if the windsock would have had collision detection). I then got the message to shut down the engine and the mission success message. Yes, the "mission failed" message also appeared to me in my first attempt. I anyway landed on the roof just to see if it still triggers something. I then noticed that my rear wheels were "within the building". So my guess was that I damaged the building in my first attempt which resulted in the mission failed. It's just a guess though. When I had to redo the mission, I simply used time compression for the flight to Mt. Elbrus. The 2nd mission will be a lot easier and should not lead into frustration.
  7. Yeah, liked this one as well (maybe because of the nice female voice, haha). Seriuosly though, good mission lenght, nice voice overs to keep the flight interesting and good limits for the comfortable flight. Just a relaxing flight. Well, I would have prefered 15 instead of 11° for the maximum banking because this way I really had to do quite some big "circles" for the correct landing approach - but that's just a detail.
  8. Personally, I think the briefing is clear and they also say where to land in the spoken text. Especially the first landing zone is well documentated in the briefing and in the kneeboard. When you approach the airport, you also get the radio message to hover/land out of ground-effect. Therefore, I think the "critism" about "unclear what to do" is not legit. The difficulty is another thing, and I'm sure that it may be very hard to do an accurate landing on that roof depending on the input controls. With proper cyclic/collective/rudder, it's still challenging, but doable (took me 2 attempts to finish the mission). It's for sure a lot clearer in this mission than in the first campaign (memory of a hero) where I often had no clue what to do due to "bad translation". Anyway, I hope you managed to do it by now. I also noticed that there are videos of the first 3 missions on YouTube so far. So if you're not sure what to do, watching the videos might be helpful (not just with this campaign).
  9. Any chance this campaign will be once released in English language as well?
  10. Mine was already on default and never on english, however, switching it to default again forced a restart of DCS and after that, it was working again (changed it to English now though). So yeah, post 4 seems the way to go.
  11. Same problem for me - the screen in the middle doesn't show anything. I know I also had a mod for the cockpit (russian colors) but I'm not sure if it was Ricardo's or not. However, it seems like it was not installed with OvgME. So where are the folder locations to check for remnants? I checked the obvious stuff like saved games\mods\aircraft and dcs\mods\aircraft\ but there were no old files.
  12. The triggers are the same....but if you have more than one Mi-8, you'd have to set the triggers for EACH aircraft. It would be quite some work (well, at least you could clone triggers in the ME iirr, but you'd have to change the aircraft).
  13. Yeah, I'd like that, too. I always loved that in the Oilfield Campaign and I wish it would be included in all missions. It's quite a lot of triggers if you want to implement it into your own mission (did it once). Sometimes it would be helpful if you could create a template or export/import triggers. This way, you'd only have to create it once. If you need to know which triggers, then I may check once I'm at home - or I could probably forward you a miz (Caucasus). You'd still have to create the voice overs though.
  14. Well, my wish would be that ED would ask some mod creators if they can include the mods into DCS because there are e.g. pretty nice helipads out there (just to show an example) https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/files/3302094/ Seriously, I think it's quite annoying when you have to disable all the mods when you want to create a mission for "everybody". Then you start to notice what kind of stuff you're missing. To stay on topic though; as long as it's working without the DCS helipad, I'd leave it as it is.
  15. Ah yes, I also think you need to be quite close. AFAIR, this is by design. They said they can't have it on because the enemy would spot them. It will be activated for a short time every now and then. Simply follow the direction. Once you're close to the target, you'll get a smoke marker.
  16. If all fails, then I'll do some screenshots ;-)
  17. It should tell you something like "you're too far already". It's really the "first" tree on the left side. Unfortunately I already deleted my recorded session when I noticed that the trk is broken and that I won't create a video. However, as mentioned, when you take off - don't go too far, it's a single tree on the left side. I hope this helps.
  18. It's a known issue. Read this post for the solution: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=248314
  19. Fully agree on that. I had my doubts after the first 2 missions (long waiting times, translation issues, time limit), but the more the campaign progressed, the better it became. Overall, definitively worth it's price. Also, the support here is good. Reaction time in the forum and in Discord is always quick.
  20. It happened to me as well in the first attempt but only when I flew too far to the left in the valley....which would be the North edge though and not the South edge.
  21. Thank you very much for the kind words :-)
  22. The video of mission 8 of the Worlds Apart campaign is now online. Again, to avoid double post, here's the link to the thread in the Worlds Apart campaign forum: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4096894#post4096894
  23. First part of mission 8 (3rd landing on Minsk and flight to Senaki not on video due to broken trk file).
  24. Mission 8 was indeed a very cool one. The atmosphere and the transition from day to night was just cool. And I anyway like naval operations. Mission 9 was ok but not that special. Finding Batumi was not an issue IMO, but finding the correct LZ at Berlin was another topic. Mission 10 was really cool on the other hand even though it was sometimes not 100% clear what to do. It took a while until I get the marker for LZ Alpha (great LZ btw). Also, LZ Bravo was announced to have red smoke but there was only a blue smoke marker. Luckily, that was LZ Bravo ;-) I agree with Lexe - I'm used to use the countermeasures myself. But I'm pretty sure many people whold have been shot down because they may not have been prepared for incoming rockets.
  25. And that's exactly the reason why I don't understand that the replay can be recorded like that in SP as well. Problem would be solved...
