  1. +1! RagnarDa might inadvertently give away one of the surprises-to-come! Regards
  2. And did anybody check with Benchmark Sim guys if they would be interested on transfering their BMS F-16 into DCS? It should be a no brainer decision shouldn't it. Regards
  3. I remember Snail from the old FreeFalcon days, he was behind the Viggen published in FreeFalcon. At that time it was quite impressive even considering Falcon limitations, it was one of the few full 3D cockpit available in that sim. Regards!
  4. We have a winner!! :D To the rest: how do you dare to say that F-16 is not cool? Tell me of any other a/c that appears in Street Fighter Regards!
  5. It's not the a/c itself what's cool, but the fact that it can do literally any kind of mission out there. F-14 is cool yes, but only doing BARCAPs will turn out boring, I'm sure. BRING ME MULTIROLE ASSETS!
  6. F-16 F-15, F-14, F-18... the sim is getting full of F's except the most relevant one! Why does nobody even dare to propose the F-16? What happen with this a/c? is it coursed or something? Regards!
  7. It seems ED is pushing this alfa-state features in the beta, so HB can start working on trap dinamycs for the Cat. Regards!
  8. I love these posts! Three years from just proof of concepts to a full featured module it's an incredible achievement! Do you have daily responsabilities (e.g. work) besides HB, or it's your full-time job? By the way, is it still possible to add TILS stations on F10 map? Regards!
  9. Bump! Is it even modelled? Regards!
  10. I think it's an important miss for AI. Not really interested on a full featured version though. Regards
  11. A bit late to the party, but I can't miss it, THANK YOU for the high quility model you brought, the more I learn about the Viggen avionics, the more I love the aircraft! It's so refreshing to finally have an aircraft so different to the traditional NATO/WARPAC assets, it's the first time I have to start really with the basics! I love it! I have to say, I hope after the Tomcat, you keep modelling more "weirdos". It's unfortunate that the classic F-XX or SU/MIG-XX have more public, hence being more logical from a business point of view. But I think I'm not the only one who gets excited hearing news of something as exotic as a Viggen or a M2000 being developed for our favorite Sim. Keep up the good work!
  12. Yeah, there were a good bunch of upgrades some time ago, unfortunately months have passed with the module untouched. We expect some FM improvements soon, but unfortunately avionics seem to be abandoned for the time being... Regards!
  13. Hi, Some time ago, there were plans to upgrade the FM of AG ordinance to AFM, the same way it was done for AA missiles. As far as I know, only KH-25, laser bombs and free-fall bombs were upgraded. Any other missile and JDAM are still stick with the old, linear FM. Any news in that regard? Can we expect some improvements before the Hornet comes out? Regards!
  14. I think it's not an HB issue that 1.5.6 is not being updated - it's up to ED to decide what is updated by when. Regards
  15. Yep, DMT has a vidicon like the AGM-65A, so expect similar video quality Regards!
  16. I agree real-life Viggen radar doesn't have the resolution of modern, digital radars, but still I would expect to see *something* when Las Vegas is in front of me. Maybe it can be done with your current implementation, I don't know, but using ED SDK sounds like a viable and bug-proof way, when it's available. Regards
  17. I think ED is working in a different approach which should work well with alll terrain features https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3011957&postcount=5 The question is whether HB will adapt it to the Viggen when it's available to all 3rd parties in the SDK. Regards!
  18. Hi again, Reading about ARBS and DMT, it seems the system was already fielded with the A-4M in the eighties, and it uses a pretty much standard, analoge NTSC camera: http://mil-spec.tpub.com/MIL-A/MIL-A-85055/ Wouldn't be cool to have some "shader" applied on top of the image that mimic the quirks of analog cameras? :) Regards
  19. I'm curious to know it as well
  20. Cool! Take into account that ASL accounts also the wind; in general, it only crosses the TD box if wind is 0 knots. Regards
  21. I mean BMS F-16C, not Harrier. I use A-10C and BMS as examples because both show similar CCRP mechanics, and more especifically, ASL behaviour. Regards
  22. Hi, I think in the video, CCRP is not working as intended. In BMS (F-16C) and DCS A-10C, the vertical line, called ASL or Azimuth Steering Line, works as a kind of Flight Director bar, indicating which direction aircraft should roll to keep the target spot on, and it's always vertical to the horizon. I don't know the exact usage of CCRP in the Harrier but I guess it should be similar to the rest of American aircraft. In the video, ASL behaviour is erratic and for some reason seems to be always "stick" to TD box which doesn't make too much sense. Regards
  23. It might be your first post, but I really hope it's not the last one :D Awesome info, thank you very much! Regards
  24. It sounds like very long term plan but I'm glad that at least you acknowledge Viggen radar modelling limitations and have some ideas to solve it :) I'm not going to say it's a major issue, but it deserves to be modelled just right. Regards!
