  1. This, and also would be nice if the shader you use in the EP-13 scales resolution accordingly - I have the feeling is too high at the moment (although I have to say that the chromatic aberration effect is awesome!) Regards!
  2. You Swedish are weird people :D I wonder how many of these oddities are hidden in this incredible piece of technology. Regards
  3. Yes it's annoying actually, I really hope they snap that one quickly. It also happens that wings never have wingtip vortex trails, whatever the AoA is, it seems the current engine can only handle vortex trails in either place, but not both simultaneously. Regards
  4. Gentleman, you just won internet today :megalol: and actually nailed the main point , so everybody should have a clear view of what's being discussed in this post Sorry renhanxue I quoted your comment on mistake as I intended to respond to bones :) anyway great tips there which thanks to my mistake won't be unnoticed  Regards
  5. That's true for the radar altimeter, but it's not for radar-ranging. I totally align with some1, with a/c attitude and radar azimuth-elevation-range data, you can absolutely locate the target point in reference to your position, QFE data is redundant and actually, less accurate than the rest. Regards
  6. Thank you John, I totally love your tutorials, especially that you don't limit yourself to just go through the manual while flying, but you get deeper on the subjects and provide valuable information to understand how and why procedures are the way they are. Keep the good work! Regards!
  7. Thank you Cobra! The best way to go, now I can sleep soundly tonight Regards
  8. But it should be a bug, since the real a/c didn't have that possibility...
  9. Well, it still break the sonic barrier at 2500 ft without afterburner, so I guess it needs more tuning... Regards
  10. Hi, Does CK37 display use Nixie technology like this? Or VFD like old calculators? Regards!
  11. I'm pretty sure you can "simulate" a Recce mission using some clever Mission Editor tricks, no need for a full module for that Regards!
  12. The only other Viggen variant that I think it would be worth to develop is the JA. It's different enough as to justify its acquisition in a different package. And I'm in love with the green phosphorus MFDs from the eighties! Regards!
  13. Yep, exactly what I meant. Current SAM IA is limited and acts awkward sometimes (like shooting at you like no tomorrow), there is plenty of improvement room here. I agree with your post, we need more old-school SAMs (not only SA-2! but the complete under-ten SA family) and the never out of fashion flak! Regards!
  14. Yep, we need more and better SAM units. My bet is that after Normandy is out we might start seeing developments in this direction. Regards!
  15. Actually, an Android app with both panels would be fantastic. Regards!
  16. It was a big IF, but actually in the eighties the Spanish Air Force briefly considered the acquisition of the Viggen within the FACA program. SAF colour is a plain boring gray yet I would love to see the SAF marks on it. Regards
  17. Well I wouldn't be so sure, MIL STD are NATO Standard, and Sweden is not part of NATO. For Gripen they use the bus, but I'm not that sure for the case of the Viggen... Regards
  18. If you are thinking in the DDM which is not present in the original Mirage, well, at least they leave the option to remove it in the module settings, which is nice. Otherwise the variant is quite well defined and AFAIK they didn't make any additional concession.:thumbup: I cannot agree more Regards!
  19. What a super cool mixture of old-school cold war planes!!! :pilotfly: Regards
  20. Fair enough, the shader-based method is mostly required for high resolution modes like DBS or SAR, your approach seems perfect for the radar type modeled  Regards
  21. This is an interesting question that won't be properly answered I guess, since everybody is holding cards very tight. I think that ED is developing a shader-based technology for the incoming F/A-18. Have a look at this: http://www.isprs.org/proceedings/XXXVI/part7/PDF/101.pdf https://www.researchgate.net/publication/224989618_Simulation_of_Imaging_Radar_Using_Graphics_Hardware_Acceleration For LN it seems they are following a beefed-up, yet traditional, raytracing approach. Regards!
  22. Indeed! Well 100$ might be a high toll for me. But definitively I would pay the same price as a regular new module for an upgraded -10C Regards
  23. Yeah yeah, you were all right, I just had a brain fart :poster_oops: Regards!
  24. Hi, I think there is a mistake in page 99, in the description of the HUD elements: Angle of attack is the difference between the flight path and the cross, perpendicular to the horizon, regardless the aircraft rolling angle, I marked the real angle of attack with red pen - A' Regards!
  25. Hi, Can we assume TILS will be compatible with current ILS beacons already in-game? and each channel freq can be configured via ME? Regads
