  2. Windows gives his PC a default 4 GB of pagefile, which is enough with his 64 GB of RAM. Raising the pagefile is only worth it when a user has less than 64 GB of RAM. Yes, this option eats up a lot of RAM. When in doubt, set it to the minimum. Then when the performance issue is solved, try to raise it gradually, but only if needed.
  3. You installed DCS on a HDD. This is not recommended. HDDs are very slow. I know DCS takes a lot of space, but try to put it on an SSD and see if the issue disappears. In the case DCS was already installed on your HDD before you had this issue, can you please attach your Export.lua file? It is located here: Saved Games/DCS.../Scripts/Export.lua If you are using OneDrive, Google Drive or any other cloud storage utility, try and close it before running DCS. If you have USB storage devices plugged in, remove them before running DCS.
  4. Hey draconus. I tried your track but could not see the issue. I then took control over it, zoomed in, zoomed out, but I don't see any issue with bars and wands. Can you post a short movie clip, please?

  7. Thank you for confirming. So, a track is enough to reproduce the issue, but only for affected users. The issue is not stored into the track, which means tracks are not helping in this case.

But this does not help us much. Another Pimax Crystal user ran into a similar crash issue a few weeks ago. He fixed this after he reinstalled both PimaxPlay and the NVIDIA driver. You should give it a go if you haven't already:
  9. Time for an update. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a working script to automatically trace all rivers (that one doesn't work at all). This means I have to draw 100% of rivers by hand, and it's a very long process. I've just finished Cyprus and the western part of Turkey.   11. Hi @pimp. What does CTD? DCS or the Pimax software? If it's DCS, please attach the latest zip file from Saved Games/DCS.../Logs.
  12. I'm comparing the 3 log files you guys sent, and it made me realize you all have NVIDIA GPUs. Am I correct? I have a 1080Ti but I'm not affected. I'm thinking maybe it has to do with NVIDIA options. Can one of you try resetting the NVCP options to default ("Restore Defaults"), then see if the bug is still here?

  14. Yes, that's the idea that came to my mind. I've seen this before. Ensure the mission you're trying to play has no folder starting with "track". Also, if it keeps happening, empty this folder and see if it helps: "%TEMP%/DCS..."
  15. We're still at a loss. However, you guys may help us eliminate theories. Can you please test this track and tell me if it helps reproduce the bug 100% of the time ? (on the first mission run, of course) That is: Start DCS. Run the track. See if the bug is present. Restart DCS and go back to step 2. F-14_TCS.trk
