  1. Yesterday a guy on FB replied to me after I gave a rant about Skylakes not being supported. He got the Insider Preview and said it is running on his i5-6400. So nothing is lost.
  2. It is publicly known the Russian side of this forum has much more information in regards to module development, IRL stuff and trivias than the English one. Just look up the translated guide and you will see it has 138 pages instead of 75. It is more rich.
  3. My man I totally agree and this is the way how I wait for next modules since the Hornet and works flawlessly. But on the other hand I have to agree with the other side also. They could periodically every 6 months or so just post a message which says something along the lines: project is alive, we do not have any problems with licensing and such things. And why? Every normal customer will be satisfied and it will diminish any rumours about it being canceled which can stir up forums like now happened here. Communication is the key in a good relationship between 2 humans who love each other or between a customer and a company. That's my take at it.
  4. That's not a bug. In fact you have to aim beneath the vehicle in order to get the exact coordinates
  5. Alright I have and was using NordVPN at the time too, but I have it closed all the time unless I am gonna use it. BUT here is another but...Even when closed there is a background process which is running at all times. Should be called "NordVPN services" and can be closed only manually through task manager.
  6. It doesn't matter if the map is populated or not... You can load up an empty map and it is still hapenning. At the time Syria used around 22Gb
  7. Yes, I remember later on it affected all maps and not at first. That is why I created this report under Syria and later on got performance hit on all maps. Maybe try to open a report in the general performance bugs since it affects all maps and it will get more attention there than here. And maybe post there a link to this thread so somebody can find a probable solution for it.
  8. At the time I was experiencing the second mission load crash and one of the advices was to remove the folders. So probably I did.
  9. @Shadow KT Yeah, go to my thread which @WhatAmIDoingHere mentioned. Try my method.
  10. IIRC here you go: 1. Remove manually and completly the GPU driver. 2. Download it (OFC you can download it earlier) directly from Nvidia site and install it - NOT THROUGH GEFORCE EXPERIENCE 3. Then run the clean procedure on DCS. 4. At last run the full repair of the game. These steps helped me with the issue. EDIT: And I would like to add I had to do it in this sequence. If I tried changing the steps, it did not help. EDIT 2: Maybe another step is to delete the metashaders and fxo folders
  11. Where did you get that? Still see it on the 16th of June
  12. Я надеюсь на это тоже
  13. I am adding myself to this list.
  14. I experienced it only when I took a look at the area with Mig-21's radar. If I pointed it elsewhere, everything was fine.
  15. Do you follow the political situation and what is currently happening in Belarus and Russia? If I were politically active or a dev who was working on a simulation of war machines, I would be scared too.
  16. You can't compare an arcade game with a simulator game. In WT you start the engines with pressing the "I" button and here...ah you know how it goes here. Basically it's not a simulation of a Ka52 in the game. In regard to Arma. How is your point valid if the company is Czech and doesn't have any offices in Russia?
  17. This happened to me too. Thought my joystick might be broken. To get it ON, I have to press RECCE two times in a row very fast. But I am not sure if I had the TDC assigned to the SA page. From now on I will try look out when it is happening to me.
  18. For me the crashes returned back. I am gonna troubleshoot.
  19. Yes, we understand the term subject to change. Me personally, I do not mind the removal of said munitions. What I do mind is, when you (ED), silently edit a post, which was made many months ago. People just can miss it. Instead, what I'd love to see, is a post which states that a feature is postponed/removed in order to get a notification. Can clear up a lot of confusion and everybody will be satisfied.
  20. That would be a useful doc indeed
  21. @Mars Exulte I do not agree with you. In my experience we just prepare a sheet where everybody sign ups one week prior with the airframe they want to fly. After that, the mission in the campaign is planned with the planes in mind and it works like a charm and everybody is happy. Just cannot be lazy with the mission planning Ofc, a flight of x planes will consist only of one type of an airplane.
  22. That's how I see it! Instead of a squadron type gameplay there should be what you are proposing. Why be limited to only one airplane when we have soo many to choose from? Also I hate when somebody has to fill out a excuse form of why he isn't flying a squadron mission. I am not at work, I do not have to explain myself. A server based community will solve this since they are not bound by anything. I hate when somebody cannot fly a different campaign when he is a member of another squadron. We have two big server communities (in total of around 350 players) like this on the Czechoslovak scene and it works like a charm. A persistent campaign and sometimes just a fooling around days. This is a concept which brings more people onto the server during a certain day than a squadron.
  23. no true as it does show both. A "M" in a circle will show.
  24. It is funny how you mention it all the time. I know one squadron of around 20 people who are flying primarly Red helis, including the Shark. They are even able to lock up fast moving jets. Just adapt to how it works now.
