  1. You brake too hard ? I use a slider to manage my brakes pressure, and the braking is efficient and stable like this. If you pull your brake at full pressure however, wheel lock appear and you'll be unstable
  2. Agree with Leadnap, flight planning is a fundamental aspect of the Viggen's gameplay. Always low, always fast.
  3. Corvinus, it's kinda cheating, but it works ;)
  4. It depends on what are your priority targets in the convoy. If the logistic trucks are priority, as Limotimbo said, I'll go for high drag bombs. But you must be very lucky to destroy the T-72 with them and some trucks will escape despite the fact that bombs hit the ground 5m-10m from them because the DCS bombs/weapons damage radius is completely broken since 5 years and ED just don't care... If this T-72 must be destroyed, I'll go for RB-75 and AKAN gun pod.
  5. Hi there, I just flew with the viggen on a multiplayer training mission (no scripts at all, just units with ''RED STATE'' alarm state option) with SA-8, 10 and 11. It seems that the U/22A pod is jamming even if the U/22 selector is on ''0'' position. Page 127 of the Viggen RC1 Manual ''OFF : Mode 0 Pod is disabled. '' But the MOTVERK indication was still flashing. FACKL SL (KB pod flares empty) still lit after rearming. Done 3 rearming tonight. Also, I was over the ocean to explain the bombs PLAN reticle to my friend, the QFE on the main altimeter was set correctly, weapon selector on PLAN, Master Mode on NAV, Safety Bracket up, I noticed that the reticle jumped one or two times. Like if I changed rapidly the main altimeter reference pressure. But I need to do more tests about this. BK-90 still bugged in multiplayer, but that's not new. Thank you.
  6. Nope, I was just a little lazy when I wrote my post (you know, bug reports on things that have not been corrected for months or even years... standard DCS stuff... Tiring). Sorry for that, kid. No one care about what you think of the module then.. And no need to offense people like you did. The picture was taken with a certain angle, which is not the default view in the DCS Viggen, however It seems that you're right, the EP-13 is slightly offset compared to what we have in DCS. ''Then the Screen in the DCS behaves wrong'' what makes you think that ?
  7. I remember having this issue some time ago. I'll try too on different locations
  8. Can Leatherneck do a quick post concerning the current state of the MiG-21 and what is supposed to be corrected ? Saw some infos about AOA and ASP in the CEII thread but when those changes will be available ? I'ld like To see what the devs think about the state of the module. Thanks
  9. Ok, we have a little pneumatic automaton that mix it for 1 min or so. We have between 1h30 to 2h (depending on the temperature) to apply it before it's getting too dry. You dried them with an infrared dryer ? We just let it polymerize naturally (except if the aircraft need to be available very fast, then we use a ''Sunkiss'').
  10. Can't understand this... Such a basic functionality (maybe hard to code, I don't know) but this should not take 7 months to implement it. Disapointing.
  11. Imp : I think tanks must need direct hit to be destroyed... Or maybe bombs that hit very close to them can damage them and make them unable to move because of tracks damages... Unable to move but still a threat
  12. Yes, I add another thread and it's entirely intentional ! Since nothing have been corrected i'll add a new thread like this at each patch. And no, I don't do researchs before posting, I take too much time posting bug report for some modules. I was doing research before, but now, I'll not search anymore. I post, if the bug have already been reported, it doesn't matter. If the bug have not already been reported : that's fine. (Remember heatblur with the Viggen wheels rotation speed and the parking brake ?... If you don't post new thread on some already reported bugs, devs can forget some of them). The thing with the cows : you're right, I knew that. I also mention it deliberately to share my view of DCS : eye candy things are prioritized compared to core mechanism problems that are reported regularly for YEARS ! Hope you understand my view and also my frustration (and I'm not the only one to be tired of this, many on my friends don't even bother to open DCS now because of all those pretty much game breaking details that are here since so many years.) Cheers.
  13. Texac, there are dozens of threads like this. Dozens. And nothing had evolved since the creation of DCS World... But they add cows... Yeah cows while bombs needs corrections... In a software called ''digital COMBAT simulator''
  14. Hello. 5 years I play DCS and I'm tired of this... Just done a SEAD mission against an SA-6 with the viggen and 120kg bombs... 2 runs with 12 bombs each. Just look how close the bombs hit the ground. The SA-6 radar is completely operationnal with 100% HP, same for this URAL (those units are not invincible in the ME). Do something please ! Between Mk-20 that are useless and Mk-82/M71 which need a direct hit on a truck to damage it, it's getting really frustrating right now. We don't ask for overpowered weapons, but for a more coherent blast/damage radius with some weapons. Thank you.
  15. B2 ? You used it ? We currently use PR 1440 B2 as sealant and PR1440 A2 as sealant inside fuel tanks. The ASP is a complete mess ? For Air-Air ? It seemed very accurate for rocket delivery last time I used it (1 week).
  16. Yes, you're supposed to clean them. In France we can do it, because our aircraft don't fly that often and we got a lot of special care cleaner for windshields and canopies. But I'll not be surprised to see operationnal MiG-21 with this kind of dirt on canopies in some African countries or former soviet countries. I still maintain that it seems a little too much on the DCS fishbed. What's wrong with the FM and weapons systems ?
  17. Ovenmit, I'm mechanic on Mirage 2000, and I disagree with you.. In operational conditions, windshields and canopies can be pretty dirty (maybe a little too much on the M3LLC MiG-21, maybe). Deep scratches, impacts and crazing (near the defogging ramps) are also very common. What are the problems of the MiG-21 that make it unrealistic right now ?
  18. More than a year now, and no still no RAT... Not a big issue though in my opinion, but still... It's the details that make the module great
  19. Just tried again after the patch : USELESS weapons..
  20. Here, take a look : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=207897&highlight=viggen+weapons
  21. Qui Gon, I've created a post about the exceptions of A/G mixed payload, Was asking the same as you. Some members answered me really well, I'll find it and post the link here.
  22. Ok, didn't knew that, we will see. Thank for your answer Haukka81
  23. Hi all. Just tried the Mk-20 Rockeyes. They do very little damages to vehicles. You're able to kill trucks if you hit them really well, but the damages done by the Rockeyes seems really weak. I've tried to kill MLRS Smerch with them and they do pretty much no damage at all ! I now thoses canisters carries only small bomblets with light warhead. I don't ask to kill all the vehicle in the dispersion zone, but I think they must damage them at least (to simulate mechanic damages due to shrapnel/blast, making trucks unable to move, and MLRS unable to move and to shoot their weapons for exemple due to damages on the rocket tubes or on the sighting system) Just read ''AV-8B Harrier II units of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm'' (osprey publishing), and it seems that the Mk-20 was a very effective weapon. Clearly, the simulation don't reflect this effectiveness of the Rockeyes. If I put myself in a real simulated CAS/strike mission, i'll never choose those Rockeyes, while they were very useful in real life. This difference between the real life and the game must not exist in a simulation my opinion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7y4i2-SBOw Is it possible to fix this ? Thank you.
  24. Not comparable to the A-10. I think you can compare the Viggen to the Jaguar, even if the jag' is more suited for CAS than the Viggen. As said before it's a strike fighter. You'll requiere a good mission preparation to fly in really hostile zone. The avionics logic is really interresting to learn. Impressive STOL capabilities ! You can takeoff on the shortest runway of DCS with FULL combat payload ! IMPRESSIVE ! Still some work to do I hope Heatblur will get it finished as soon as possible. This aircraft is my favorite module (I have all DCS modules except C-101). A thing that really impress me on the Viggen is the mix of very advanced technologies for it's time and all of this in a freakin' tough cell. This aircraft is robust as rock ! Gameplay wise : You study the mission, place your waypoints carefully, takeoff, fly (very) low and (very) fast, drop all you ordonance and get home (very) low and (very) fast. Another intersting fact : ELINT capabilities.
