I believe this issue has something to do with screen resolution if I remember correctly. Check in your settings that the resolution of your game is matching with the resolution of your screen.

I always find this incredibly funny. There is one person on this forum that claims he has spoken to a pilot that says 'he never noticed as much'. That is very vague if you ask me, but he could be right. Then there is a bunch of people that think they know what the real thing flies like, but probably never flown themselves. Stop thinking you are an aerodynamics engineer because you fly in a simulator.

Unless something changed in the latest update (the one that released the 16th), the position you mention is probably SMK instead of STK. They may have changed that acronym either on purpose, by accident or you misread. It simulates the placement of a smoke generator between the engine exhausts (not visible in the 3D model AFAIK), as per for example the Blue Angels use. That is the reason smoke is the only available loadout for that station.

You guys are all wrong; I saw a very credible member of the DCS FB group state that he rotates at 250 knots because that is when the Flight Computer automatically pulls up. Sigh.. I know..

That is not the point he was trying to make. What he was saying is that the current representation is mediocre at best and with the projected release of this month there is little chance anything will change on the radar

I must admit I am a little dissapppointed in the radar too if this is the final state. Will still buy it probably, but I hope they will improve it.

Later this year there will be a large military excercise here in the Netherlands, and it is rumoured that F-16's from the 148th FW (Minnesota ANG) will participate. Supposedly these Vipers carry the 'Have Glass 5' paint. Anyone familiar with this type of paint? Why do only they feature this paint? And a little different question :D How does one pronounce it; have as in I have, you have.. or have as in haze but with a v?

It is not available for download yet. On the DCS FB group there is somebody that contacted Tech Support; they said only the AI is available now and the module itself will be later. That will be the original release date of the 23rd or this friday, my guess. It is a bit confusing to put it in the Changelog like this.

Okay fair enough, I completely fail to see the purpose but I guess there was something interesting to see in Iceland to take a detour like that in a Cessna 172 :D
