Because software development is complicated and takes time. Because staff do not work 24/7, they need holiday, time off etc. Because you are impatient and unable to comprehend what Early Access is.

Why the distrust? Because we know so little? BST did the exact same thing in the day. ED will test the module to make sure it is up to DCS standards, and if its not, it wont be released. From what the little info we've seen, Im sure its a better module then this one bi plane some company did. And if you still dont trust them, let other people who do want to throw money at them regardless, test it out first and see if its any good. I will sure as hell buy this instantly and give it a go.

No matter how unrealistic it feels for you, not a single developer will look into something based on feelings. The least you could have done is make some simple comparisons with other aircraft (actual numbers) and maybe pull up some performance charts or something. I thought somebody with a post count like that must know better, but this looks more like utter laziness to me.

I believe the BST strategy works quite well too, as you have the element of surprise that does the promotion for you :)

Does it matter? They also said that was subject to change. If it has changed, you cant say they broke their promise or whatever.

The OP stated a simple request which is unlikely to be fulfilled. A few posts down and the thread has been hijacked by the wishlisters, which add no value at all. More fitting posts would be to support the OP by saying you would like an update as well. This way the chances of this request would dramatically improve if the community would raise it voice as one.

No. There is always somebody suggesting this if features are being discussed. ED needs to make a choice. Either they stick to real life as much as possible, or they go down the 'what if' or fantasy path. I'm pretty sure they will lose a lot of fans if they choose the latter. The optional thing does not automatically make it so that both camps are happy. The camp that wants it does not care because they get it, but the camp that does not want it still wont agree with it anyway because they do not want it in the first place.

It had already been a while since we had a 'which feature would you like next' wishlist thread, glad its back now. If I need to state the obvious, that was sarcasm. How about we wait and see what they give us?

It is. There is just a few arm chair pilots who think they know better and have very strong feelings, which they have the right to express, but cant accept when the receiver of this expression does not bend to their will..

Is there any form of licence of approval for this mod from parties in Russia? Would not be the first time a mod or module would recieve some.. ahem.. pressure from Russia to stop developing.

Whilest this is fantastic news for RAZBAM, I am also a little bit skeptical. The AdA could be the only customer RAZBAM ever needs. If the AdA likes the work RAZBAM does and vice versa, I could see them going full time for them, its certainly a lot better then the toxic RAZBAM haters that roam these forums. I'm not saying they are ditching us tomorrow, but long term this could be a real possibility. For now, I am looking forward to this collaboration though. Lets see how things play out.
