As far as I understood it wind correction through LASTE is only relevant for dropping dumb bombs in CCIP. Guided weapons guide to a certain point anyway, correcting for wind themselves.

Hello folks, Im looking for a new rig. Im wondering what is better for DCS; the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or something from Intel e.g. i7 7700k? Im looking to get either a RTX2060 or RTX2070 to go with it. As for RAM I'll stick with 16gb DDR4 but if someone recommends 32 then I might look into that aswell.

So what is this supposed to be? An actual bug report or a rant that the Hornet radar is too bad according to your 'feelings'? Can you be more specific?

RAZBAM has confirmed that the team that worked on the MiG-19 will work on the MiG-23 after its done. Looking at complexity, available coders in their team, I'd put my money on the Flogger before the Mudhen aswell.

As far as I can see the only people here that are whining are the ones that want the unrealistic option to control the LANTIRN from the front seat.

Are you guys seriously expecting there is a line on the changelog that says: 50% improvement on VR performance. I would never put that in a changelog if I was ED because somebody will probably complain that he only gets a 49% improvement.

I am well aware most (I assume USAF) pilots call it the Viper. Its however an unofficial nickname that has been used so much that people seem to think its the official name, while its really not. As someone on the previous page said, I won't sleep loose over it, its just something that seems off and I was wondering if more people felt this way.

There is nothing wrong with Viper. Just the combination of F-16C Viper that feels unnatural to me. Fair points on the Hog though. Not sure what ED's decision-making or policy on this is.

I know 'Viper' is a very commonly used nickname for the F-16, much more common then the official name 'Fighting Falcon'. But every time I see DCS: F-16C Viper it just feels weird. Any more votes to change the name to DCS: F-16C Fighting Falcon?

Recently introduced weapon > Not enough information public > Not going to happen in the near future. Shame though.
