Can a Developer post a side picture of the COG please, where is the COG located at 100% fuel and ammo in DCS? And how the COG shifts at 1% fuel? Please Usually the COG should be at the point where the Payload mount is located, but DCS feels more like COG is somewhere in the middel between the Wings and the Elevator.

When i push breakes and full throttle trying to drill the nose into the ground, the propeller is not taking any damage. But in dogfight one bullet hit can bend the propeller and the bird starts heavily shaking. Something is wrong with the damage model, Missing damage by drilling the nose into the ground is easy to reproduce. I cant provide a track for the bullet damage, but i had this a couple of times in dogfights now.

What maneuvers will kill a P-51 engine?

For aerobatics use Radiators/Manually full open, in auto u can fry the in engine in a blink of an eye. Reduce Power below 200mph untill u gain speed. Radiator Control depends on ambient temperature, -10 or +30 can have a huge impact. -
Looks like the SHKVAL_MASK texture is not loading, its for quite a while now. I noticed that when i saw the shkval is absolute clear, editing the image has no effect. DCSWorld\Mods\aircraft\Ka-50\Cockpit\IndicationTextures SHKVAL_MASK.bmp

Grey means easy coms is set in the options, should work. Check your preflight procedure. Push starter + Booster located above the two red feathering buttons.

ED did a good job with a degraded picture with the F16 TGP, its the same pod for all 3 aircrafts F16/F18/A10 but modeld in different ways. and the F18 got less zoom? Makes no sense to me, to model a new pod for every new aircraft. Why they not modeling 1 Pod of a version usable for all capable aircraft? To model a new pod for every new aircraft is like invending a new wheel, over and over again. Dont know how its coded and even posible, but this could save a lot of time. -

Due to the endless discusion about the elevator Trim i decided to share my privat Trim fix for the BF109K4. Simple set the pitch tune to slider and push the curve forward by 1, this will hold the stick in place a bit forward. Simulates a Trim Tab to get more range for the trim wheel. My Role and Rudder setings are adjusted for a level cruse around 525kph and WEP. I got a Warthog with a sticky center, holds in place in a range around 1-2mm, so i can do fine adjustements during the flight. If you got a perfect centered stick, i dont know if the setting works for you, but you can play around with the special setting to fit your needs. correct as-is Litening TGP Magnification wrong?

We cant compare the Litening II with the LANTRIN pod. What version of the Litening II do we have for the f18 module right now? My opinion comes from the assumption its a Litening II AT, the same like in the A10C. -
Got some news from my last test P-47 got Water for 15 minutes, i managed to empty the tank with max RPM and 60MP + Water injection at 6000 feet without engine damage :) Top speed was 305 knots TS. Still unabel to refule Water by groundcrew :(

Some of the ground units models, skins and animations are outdated and need a rework. Some RTS elements missing, like a drag box to select multiple units. And a lot more.. Development needs time and money. Yes, i support a Update. I'm also interested in Vehicle simulations with clickable crew stations. Like Steel Beasts pro. I would buy Tank modules for DCS.

LASTE Page bug was reported a couple of years ago for the first a10c module. Never noticed they ever changed something. Ignore the LASTE page and your bombs should have good hits. Maybe it's not a bug? it's a long time ago but I remember a statement, there is no need for enter wind data, cause the CDU is taking data during the flight. Manual enter for backup. But I'm not sure about that, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, the box is checked. It's binded to absolute camera and horizontal view, works for all other modules. Yes should probable be in Headtracker. Problem is the assign boxes are missing and can't rebind it. Had never need to binde head tracker, was always auto detected by DCS. My head tracker is working fine for all other modules, but for some reason it's binded wrong for the external views. I think about to edit or delete and repair the default lua, but need to find the right one.

5min of Emergency Power means, engine can run 5min without taking any damage. Engineers would never allow water injection if the engine dies after a total use of 15min. Looks like DCS simulates engines at the very end of there Lifetime, or the damage model is way to fragile. All WW2 birds in DCS got similar problems.

I did some testings a while ago, was able to run with military power without engine damage literally forever. Seams like there is a 15min detoration counter as soon Water is injected. No matter how you use the 15min, 3x 5min with cool down in between, or 15min in a row. The engine will die 100% when time is counted down to 0. If I remember right, with immortal the bird had a quantity of water for 30min. But the engine die after 15min anyway without immortal. There is no way to reset the detonation counter with a cool down or a repair. Refuling Water dose not work too. The only way is to do a respawn. It's a throw away engine after a use of 15min. Wish we had cool down time to reset the counter, and the ability for repair and refule.

Anyone have their Shkval TV tint mod working post 2.7?

I tried to make it work without success, the test picture is changeable but not the tint. Seems like the Lua is ignoring the SHKVAL_MASK picture at all. This mod was great, missing it too -
Wow thank you for this detailed reply on the topic. This is really important to know. I was impressed by the LG OLED C1, colors and Black levels locking good, but I missing the Brightness and reflecions from the LCD Panels. My concern with the QLED is detail los in to bright spots, but I asum the 2021 modules doin well. I have the decision between LG C1 and Samsung QN85A-QN95A. I like the C1 got 4x HDMI 2.1 vs. the Samsung got only 1x HDMI 2.1 cold be important in case a HDMI port breaks. But all the TVs still missing Displayports, the only way to get the 120 frames is a adapter, club3d Displayport to HDMI 2.1 is the only adapter on the market providing 120hz at this moment. Even a 2080TI ain't got HDMI 2.1, maybe futere GPUs will have one. So need to count on a adapter, hope the adapter works smooth. I aim for a 65inch QLED QN91A, it's the same like the 95 but without a cable box.

What's better for DCS, OLED or QLED? OLED got deeper black and color, but QLED is brighter. What is more useful to spot ground and airborne targets? Which panel got the better looking picture? Tell me what you prefer and why

LCtrl + V works to turn the menu on and off, but menu wont show up when binded to stick or throttle. TM Warthog

Can someone tell me how i can turn on the headtracker for the LSO? Headtracker for the external views is also not working for me, but got the box checked in the options.

Have made a Training Mission with HARM's vs SA15. Found an issue with the target priority of the AGM-88C in SP mode, Missiles ignoring the closest threat an flying to a Ship 100 NM away. HARM_TURN_BUG.trk

The box around the aiming cross was confusing me, with the Litening II it's usually the area for the FOV magnification. Ok JF-17 POD is not as good as i thought. Looks like ED have downgraded the Litening II for the F/A-18C to match the capabilitys of the JF-17, probable for gameplay balance? This could mean a breake of the companys policy of developing proper simulations. Can we have a offical statement about this situation please. Will we get a Max zoom correction for the Litening II to match the capabilitys of the A-10C and F-16C Litening II POD's in a later update when the problem with the Digital zoom is corrected?
