Man könnte auch einfach die selbe Zeit (die leider nicht vorhanden ist) wie im "echten" Screenshot einstellen um die Schatten zu erzeugen, wählt den passenden Monat und passt die Gamma Einstellungen an. Globale Cockpitbeleuchtung sollte vielleicht auch aktiviert sein. Der Screenshot aus der ED Version sollte eigentlich fast identisch zur OpenAlpha Version sein. Das terrain und die Schatten hier sind nicht ganz passend und obwohl die Tageszeit auch nicht verfügbar ist, ist das Ergebnis trotzdem mit dem Original vergleichbar.

    AIM-7 vs AIM-120

    Wahrscheinlich ist die AMRAAM eine weitaus bessere Wahl aber auch genau deswegen ist die Sparrow ebenfalls eine gute Wahl diese mitzutragen um sie für weniger manövrierfähige Ziele einzusetzten als eine AIM-120 mit deutlich besseren Möglichkeiten zu verschießen.
  3. Detail and Lightning improvements to the NTTR. More information on what exactly has changed or improved can be noticed once the update is installed I guess. There are probably a lot more changes/improvements than we might think of, to many to write it all down which is actually a good sign.
  4. I don't have any problems with your LUA code so the problems must rely on something else. Also your skin does now show up anymore?
  5. That's because of the dynamic numbering system. To remove these boxes or the dynamic numbering system, simply place these 6 lines for each texture into your discription.lua

    Dann könnte es an deinem Verpackungsprozess liegen welcher einen Zwischenordner, keinen ZIP kompromierten Ordner, in den Y_Flnal_Texture ZIP Ordner packt in dem dann die ganzen Texturen platziert sind? Aber ich glaube wenn ich mir deinen Text das zweite mal durchlese könnte es auch an der Namensänderung des Y_Flnal_Texture ZIP Ordner liegen? Y_Flnal_Texture anstatt Y_FInal_Textures Ansonsten wüsste ich nicht weiter wo der Fehler liegen könnte.

    Wenn nur die Texturen verändert werden und zurück in den Original Ordner gepackt werden mit originaler Bezeichnung und mit keinen Veränderungen in der discription.lua sollten die neuen bearbeiteten Texturen sichtbar sein. Die Texturen werden dem Ordner entnommen, bearbeitet, als "ah-1w.bmp" dds. Datei exportiert/gespeichert und mit den originalen Texturen ersetzt.

    Werden die bearbeiteten Textur Dateien unter Bazar/Liveries/AH-1 platziert, muss die discription.lua umgeschrieben werden. false, wenn die Texturen im Bazar/Liveries/AH-1 Ordner platziert werden. true, wenn die Texturen im Original Ordner platziert/ersetzt werden. Das gillt für alle anderen AI Flugzeuge oder Module. Könnte aber auch sein, dass die neuen Texturen umbenannt worden sind und mit der Bezeichnung in der discription.lua nicht miteinander übereinstimmen.
  9. Indeed. I thought we would see some progress here much later. I really can't wait to test its perfomance and see it myself in the sim. I also like the fact that the tech is already available to 3d parties.

    Bazar/World/textures/Y_Flnal_Texture in den anderen ZIP Dateien sind auch noch eins, zwei Texturedateien der AH-1 verstreut.
  13. You're right, it's a Wishlist item and can be integrated into the sim when it is next on the list and the needed tech is already there for an accurate simulation.
  14. With the OpenBeta release two years ago we also got a new missile flame exhaust, it looks fantastic no question. But this new effect doesn't match the flame exhausts of other different missile types. For example the AMRAAM's have a completely different looking flame exhaust as compared to some russian build missiles or the Sparrow missile and more. I'm not an expert but I believe there are different flame exhausts due to different rocket motors? Or does it depend on factors such as weather or alltitude, maybe both or all together? Here are two examples to display the differences quickly. I haven't really thought about it but I would really like to see the missile exhausts varying from each other in DCS World. There aren't much reasons to spend the needed time and recourses towards differences in the missiles flame exhaust but I think it would fit the eyes much better.

  16. This whole video itself is different and has something new to it for me, I'm not talking specific about the new effects or graphic improvements.
  17. I noticed this as well. For me it also only seems to show up when using the zoom keys. I believe if it also shows up for ED members/3d party members this issue is known and will be fixed.
  18. The most focus is spent towards the merge to bring it out ASAP. That's probably the reason why we see so many new screenshots of the caucasus map.
  19. Wingtip vortices are already based on humidity IIRC.
  20. Specifically Belsimtek now said that they don't plan to update the F-15C with ASM. However it wasn't said that it is completely impossible to simulate the Eagles systems, closer to the real thing than now. The Hornet and Eagle are two different planes but we are already seeing one of these two in the simulation with DCS standards. I would expect all the FC3 aircraft to get the finished or desired state (PFM & SSM). After that I believe plans could start on updating some of the FC3 aircraft and be released as spereate modules including the PFM and ASM. But that is only a guess that could start to evolve in multiple years, if it could.
  21. The FC3 aircraft aren't supposed to receive an ASM update, only PFM updates and more system updates as we have seen it for the Su-33. I'm sure that this is stated like that since years and nothing changed on that so far. Almost all of the Flaming Cliffs 3 aircraft are finished/completed and this module is known for it's easier learning curve and overall handling without ASM which is the best experience for beginners that are newcomers to DCS World.
  22. Don't pay attention to the dislikes, unless someone tells you the reason why so you can change a few things and perhaps gain a few other interests/views. But as I can see it the response is actually much better and also similar to mine. :)
