Why do you as a customer have to care about the developers marketing plan? To me there is absolutely no mistake or disadvantage that we will get a single update with a lot of content. People want updates that are at least worth having their time to spend on looking what made it into the changelog and others define ED's/RAZBAM updates "poor" because they don't like their marketing planning and schedule on modules releases.

Die Explosionen sind defenitiv neu/überarbeit. Ist selbst mit 360p klar und deutlich bei 25:10 zu erkennen. Das sind eben immernoch WIP Effekte die vielleicht noch alte Sachen mit enthalten könnten.

I call it a great update for everyone and good planning. A lot of new and fixed things that people can play around with for a long time. Everything is included in one update so that no other update is required in the next year and we have access to it as fast as possible.

I'd also like to see a image from high altitudes. With some aircraft you also spend a bit of your flight time at high altitudes.

24th is the last Friday in November. Perhaps we see it on 29th Wednesday if not on that Friday.

I don't really understand what you mean but updates are pushed out on pre set days so it doesn't matter if the problem could have been solved and released right away the day following. I think ED would update their sim whenever they want to, no matter if a 3rd party developer can't get his updates into it due to livery problems? This week there is an update planned with the release of RAZBAM's Harrier and as Zeus said the Mirage updates are postponed to the next. Something I just noticed this morning is that I believed the updates to be released this week on Friday along the Harrier. However they are planned for the next, now I don't understand what next means. Is next this week or the next update week and there wasn't an update planned last week. Or am I just confused now?

It is stated in the thread text itself. For the next week there is an update planned.

Where to place user skin for training missions
Texac replied to BlueMax's topic in How To Mod for DCS World
There is no need to have an extra skin folder for training missions. The skin can be changed with the ME as usual. -
I also believe it is the ATARS which replaces the internal gun.

Neu ist was anderes.
-
The discussion came up many times with the same images I believe and as it was already said RAZBAM ensured us that the sizes are correct. You might wanna try to play around with the camera angle and FOV once the aircraft is available, take a closer look and compare.
-
Thank you for the answer. It seems that the next week is going to be very interesting if everything will proceed as planned. :)

Regarding the liveries, will user made skins be affected by the updates as well?
-

You need to add additional lines for the spec files which is leaving the decal spots without the spec textures. But that is a different topic because it isn't a bug.

ED has all of your things listed on their WIP or to do list. It just takes time while they're working on other maybe more important things as well.

How to remove the tactical numbers of a skin
Texac replied to eFirehawk's topic in How To Mod for DCS World
Take a look at this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=195476 {"WINGL_NUMBER_001", 0 ,"M2KC_1T",false}; {"WINGL_NUMBER_001", DECAL ,"empty",false}; {"WINGL_NUMBER_010", 0 ,"M2KC_1T",false}; {"WINGL_NUMBER_010", DECAL ,"empty",false}; {"WINGL_NUMBER_100", 0 ,"M2KC_1T",false}; {"WINGL_NUMBER_100", DECAL ,"empty",false}; Placing these six lines for each texture into the discription.lua should remove the board numbers completely from the aircraft. -
The Early Access is part of a faster development for a completed module with the community to find bugs and let the developers know about them and help them to get these sorted out. I know if I want to take part on the EA or not and wait till its completed state is reached.
-
The next update is planned to be available still this month if you consider the release of the Harrier. But surely you can wait till next year if you like to.
-
You said it is next week. Anyway can't wait to see the Mirage receiving its updates.
-
You can lower the helmet visor in the M-2000C with Alt+Pos1 I believe. Since the Mirage is made by RAZBAM I guess we will see the same function for their Harrier as well. However I'm not sure if the helmet visor is animated on the external view in EA or if this function is available later on.
-
Never would anything like that become part of the DCS World and be released as an official module. I believe it is possible to modify the required files to get such results, except for the interior and exterior model as we have no access to modify these I think. But again it is very unlikely ED or any 3rd party developer would provide the A model to fly it with the C variant.

DCS World User Mods "WHAT IF" SCREENSHOT AND VIDEO THREAD!!!!
Texac replied to NRG-Vampire's topic in Screenshots and Videos
The A-10C with the paint scheme from DARPA's PCAS program in 2015. -
They aren't the best and are basic, viewed from the side only which you may have already found but just in case. But maybe you'll find better results whit searching for the information that is stated below the aircraft on the first two images.
