  1. The image from Leathernecks website shows a wing with three machine guns pointing out of a it next to the P-38's nose. But I'm not sure which aircraft that would be..
  2. Hier wäre das passende 3d model dazu. Das ist aber von ED.
  3. This is the best DCS World screenshot I have ever seen.
  4. 2.1 OpenAlpha update is planned for this Friday.
  5. Did anyone noticed the new sounds? While flying the Harrier I simply didn't realized that there are new sounds for the other airframes as well. Probably still WIP but to me they sound really well so far.
  6. There are so many awesome skins that you can find in here and now finally also on the User Files!
  7. Is that really the right question for this topic and do you really believe you will get a simple "yes" as an answer? :music_whistling:
  8. If you look closely, very closely, you can see the merge coming towards you.
  9. Is it really on the "to-do" list? I have read that it isn't planned in the near future at all. Also the cables aren't modeled at all, only its black/yellow texture is visible on the runway.
  10. In diesem Bild ist im Hintergrund vielleicht ein bisschen mehr zu erkennen.
  11. The black models in the 1.5.8 encyclopedia are already fixed.
  12. Here you have the minimum and maximum requirements to run DCS World that were given to us by Eagle Dynamics on facebook. Minimum system requirements: OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i3 at 2.8GHz; RAM: 8 GB; Free hard disk space: 60 GB; Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 / ATI R9 280X DirectX11); requires internet activation. Recommended system requirements: OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i5+ at 3+ GHz; RAM: 16GB; Hard disk space: 60 GB on Solid State Drive (SSD); Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 / ATI R9 Fury DirectX11 or better; Joystick; requires internet activation.
  13. Awesome screenshots Vitor, but soon 1.5 will be irrelevant and they will look even better there.
  14. The skin is now complete and the file has been updated. The Harrier is still awesome.
  15. I knew you would say something like this although I can't believe you because this already looks really detailed to me. :D
  16. This is a two years old WIP image from the F-14 development announcement.
  17. Search for [AG Target Undesignate/NWS/FOV Toggle]
  18. Thanks for the info CptSmiley! I for myself really like to have another factor that requires attention and additional workload to maintain the engine at life.
  19. If you take a look at CptSmiley's post at hoggit you'll get a better understanding of the engine limits and how to deal with them in DCS. The best way to avoid any loss of power or damage to the engine is to stay under any of the limits at any time so flying with less than 102% RPM and 645° JPT should keep the engine from any perfomance hit. If I'm understanding that correct. And remember the aircraft has been released a few days ago into Early Access state.
  20. Or you are simply doing something wrong you have to get used to it. It works fine for me. Taking off with 21000 lbs, cruising around without exceeding engine limitations for to long, head back to base with a bit of fuel left and VL without any problems. The engine still runs as it did on take off and even after a third, fourth, fifth landing it still reaches to 113% RPM while the acceleration times are all identical. And make sure that your start up procedure is correct.
  21. Deselect the Sidearm after you fired the first one and select it again. That should avoid its explosion in front of your aircraft. That's what the PG states, however I haven't tested it yet.
  22. Taking into account that the aircraft is still in an Early Access state and we now have 3 pages pointing out that the current modeled engine realibilty of the Harrier is probably calculated wrong in the sim, the developers might plan to take care of the situation. Maybe they are already working on a better solution to simulate it realistically on a long term if it isn't correctly modeled at the moment.
  23. It is already reported in this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=196921
  24. Same altitude, JPT temperature, RPM and mission so I did not exceed any of the maximum engine limitations for a to long amount of time. Flying off all the waypoints and landing, the acceleration times of the engine during a second and third RVTO were identical (35-60% - 2.4s) & (60-105% - 2.8s) to the first at the beginning of the flight. When exceeding the Maximum Thrust limit after 15 minutes the Overtemp warning/caution light and tone came up and after that the engine perfomed much weaker. Perhaps this might need some tweaking.
  25. I only flew this livery in 2.1 but it should also work in 1.5. I'll update the livery with all the symbols when I'm tired of the Harrier. :D
