As far as I understand it you will be provided all updates of the game engine for free via patches (to guarantee MP compatibility), just adding more flyables will cost you something

Fellas, just when the first people started to request technical support for the Russian version of BS in the English section it was made crystal clear that official support will be restricted to the Russian side of the forum, until the international version has been released. If you are new to flying the Ka-50 or helicopter simulations in general, you first have to get used to the trimming function. Understanding aircraft trim and its relation to the flight control/autopilot system is absolutely essential for controlling the helicopter, and if you do not use it properly you will fight rather than fly the aircraft. I don't know what might cause forward movement, but one problem of helicopters with tail rotor is the side thrust generated by the tail rotor, which results in lateral movement when trying to maintain a stable hover position. The thrust has to be compensated by inclining the main rotor. This effect does not occur on coaxial helicopters.

I don't want to compare the both but if you want to know something about the limitations of Falcon's FM I recommend that you search for posts by Mav-JP over at Frugals, he is one of the makers of the HFFMs and he has commented on them on a lot of occasions.

I'm not an expert regarding GPL, but as far as I understand it you can use the GPL licensed software even for commercial purposes, you just have to ship the source of the original and, if you modify it, of the modification. I guess ED would program some kind of interface so that DCS can communicate with Mumble, so there would be no need to integrate it with DCS, or they modify Mumble to their needs but keep it as a separate application.
