  3. thats a known fact for ages now, take a breather :D btw a couple of hits of a spit on the dora and its engines die imediatly, its not only blue planes suffering ;) when the new damage models comes - were in for a treat.
  4. i had some issues too. long freezes and crashes from time to time, no logs just sayin. not the well known dcs doesnt work anymore crashes just back to the desktop boom.

  6. then id like to join if theres room free! also one thing that would be awesome is to let them take off from multiple airfields rejoin attack and land. must be an epic view for escorts. please ed make that happen :D
  7. looking good! the flak puffs are a bit weak and you can hardly see them, no idea if thats realistic or not but surely with the new damage model arriving we are in for treat! im thinking about hosting a little pvp multiplayer bomber attack mission. something like 24 B17 plus 4 escort planes against maybe 8 attackers and flak, its still an early stage but it would be epic.
  8. i just set them to the mission editors standard 6562 wich is probably why they got shot up very badly. does bombing work from 25000 feet?
  9. yes thats true went back to the flak script, maybe higher flying b17 do the trick. everything that flys at the standard me 6000 and something feet is mince meet tho
  10. i just did two shorter attempts to attack a bomber formation of 24 B-17s with average skill. gotta test the different attack patterns to be sure. as for starters i tried a high six attack with evasive maneuvers but got wrecked pretty quickly. my first impression was that they are too accurate but of course that could have been out of poor flying too. also we were only three planes engaging with some distance so all the bombers could focus on one of us at a time. it is alot of fun thats for sure.

  13. they now shoot back but even on average skill there way too accurate.
  14. ai flight/damage models are not a big deal in modern jets, yet its more of an issue in WW II era if u ask me. if u hit them either with rockets or powerfull guns there just dead.
  15. also flying with other wingmen helps alot and is way more fun and realistic. i use eekz label mod from the burning skies server. it does the trick for me for the time being. realy enhanced my spotting experience! so that should get your anger barometer down to fun levels:)

  21. i didnt see any black puffs on german flak tho
  22. germans are invisible confirmed. the 88 should get the job done, there a couple of different versions but no black puffs so far. also they added a german naval gun under artillary! @veteran 66 they do shoot back and there very accurate.
