[REPORTED]Communication menu lost during sim until exit from DCS

Currently no more detailed explanation than this track. Only happened once for me, it was terrible. I played first time the same mission at first after startup, right after startup I adjusted options to game flight mode, after a retrogaming with LockOn. This time the 2.5.5 series invisible or empty menu popped up with no title. The magical title: "CommandMenu.menuCaption" which is popped up last time july 8 for me with Hornet carrier operation. (was frequent on early 2.5.5 builds, because of carrier communication modification) The common is the mouse cursor shown. No more ability to look around with mouse, my only good method. And Function keys not working more to external views and unable to exit from the broken menu. But "CommandMenu.menuCaption" solvable by spawning to other plane. This reported case persisted until DCS exit. -
There are lots of error messages logging unsuccessful manual pop up of communication menu. Unsuccessfully no track from original event. (was a prepare mission simulation) A similar one attached, with log too. Despite in the recreation event time menu operation was normal: log shows errors too. I must admit something is changed now I'm unable to make damage to BMD-1 with all the ammo rounds to one vehicle. (MP - bda info on) Previously it was possible to destroy BMD-1 with guns. edit: But very hardly I can kill SA11-CP and SA11-SR.

You are not alone Many Hungarian teammates suffer from this bug. DCS not supporting all kind of cable modems. (since 1.5.x) For the bug fix waiting period you can contact your teammates for ISP info. At least we have an opportunity to connect via IP or have a chance to list our desired server for the tenth refresh. Support adviced me before cable modem change to using VPN. edit: using VPN may cost you money and unable to use TeamSpeak.

I own the Hornet since the first day. Twice I had a wrong pitch up trim situation with heavy payload takeoff with HALF flaps. I saw the wrong trim in Rctrl+ENTER view! I suspect bug. I must done: decelerate and then lower flaps then MANUALLY trim plane to neutral, then flaps up. -

Sample mission Because you bound to take control on ground, there are 2 defueled AI on the Sochi ramp. If you add internal fuel they will takeoff and then land. If you put external fuel tanks to the payload they will takeoff and then land. If you jumping between defueled AI planes the old ones start taxiing without any fuel. Another method is to sure don't start those taxiing is blocking the way by a vehicle. Most user using in single player mode the "permit crash recover" or select another client slot to spawn again, when no AI available to take control in air, close to action. With "client" slots you can use multiple types of planes in a single singleplayer mission. (f.e.: spare the loading time for practice.) ((As a bonus Sochi have TACAN station)) takeControlGround.miz -

test results I created and extended a Patriot site from template to Mozdok. Engaging air weapons on. Patriot not enough skillful most of the time. For kill 4 theoretically not defending Su-25T launch 6 to 9 missiles. Funny to see when missiles change targets multiple times in the ending phase. I strenghtened the defense with 6 TORs. (Engaging air weapons on.) But 4 of 4 AGM-154C hit the 4 Patriot launchers. The mission contains Smerch for Combined arms testing. Rather than take control on ground plane, you can set any number of client aircraft on singleplayer, and you can select those for start on ground or air. On ground you can take over a hot start F14 without any fuel. (With pilots.) For air take over you can set orbiting planes into mission. -
the original and the fixed version also has problems vehiclegroup 4 not selectable in both. In the fixed version unit list icon not working. Altough both mission is loading for me and simulatable.

Don't check. Radars are taken out by hits. But not shown in any way to me. Needed to fly them against again, and disappeared those from RWR. -

Restrict afterburner operation is very limited I tested and found imperfect. If I trigger the restriction only take effect after when AI willfully turn off afterburner, not instantly as expected, and not all the cases effective.
