the rudder doesn't seem to have any effect while taxxing and the left and right brakes barely turn the plane (and the tail wheel only swivels a little). with the other ww2 birds if you hold a break and give some throttle it'll spin on a dime. this one just flips

i thought there was an updated damage model for ww2 birds that had accurate damage representation?

i've been punching hundreds of .50cal holes in this "Zero" including multiple pilot shots, however there is 0 degradation of the enemy plane. Is this normal? I uploaded a screenshot so you can see for yourself essentially every single part of the plane has been hit many times, but there's 0 difference in the behavior of the plane and pilot. Anyone know what's going on here? null

anyone flying this bird with a MSFS FFBII? i just tried it and I don't' notice any trim ffb. is this implemented at all?

Wondering since this is early access but, is the taxiing currently bugged? It does not behave as expected when applying left or right toe break pressure, especially when compared to the other warbirds which behave logically. Is this just a skills issue on my part or if taxiing a work in progress? null

i just got the Corsair and did the first training mission while assigning all my favorite key shortcuts. One of them is using mouse button 2 to transpose the camera around the cockpit (it's like this for every plane). This worked fine in first training mission. However I just fired up DCS a second time today in order to continue the 2nd training mission. Now all of the sudden the transpose key does not work. I looked in the settings and there's a red mark on it. I tried deleting and reassigning but no joy. I tried assigning multiple keyboard keys but none of them worked. Anyone know how to fix this issue??

thanks for the experiments. yeah I didn't think it would work with the supercarrier. but i guess starting hot on the sling works well enough. and you can trap successfully. it's just all the other stuff that's wonky

i9-14900kf rtx 4090 64gb ram 2tb ssd I have newly installed DCS on my new PC and with maxed out graphics It's running a smooth 120fps...most of the time. But sporadically the game has heavy stuttering and the fps drop to the teens for a second or two. This seems to happen more frequently when switching camera modes or performing heavy maneuvers. It's quite jarring and has even caused me to crash before. This happen to anyone else? Hoping for some tips or tricks to stop this from happening. UPDATE: I caught one of the stutters in my screenshot

yeah sounds like they're still inop which is a bummer. they were broken a long time ago now
