  2. Been looking for a simple tutorial video that shows how to use the AI to target and engage enemies at BVR, but not having any luck for some reason. Anyone able to recommend a video or series that addresses this?
  3. yes, if i zoom in far enough in cockpit view the smoke instantly pops into view at a specific point. however at default FOV with interior and exterior they do not match up so you can see more things in F2 view than F1 view.
  4. I noticed that an important visual cue, aka smoke, does not appear at the same distance in cockpit view vs external view. This seems to give an advantage and uneven play to certain views. Does this happen with anyone else? Is there a way to fix this? EXTERNAL: null COCKPIT VIEW: nullnull

  9. I'm following Wags startup video. He says step 1 is turning on battery and see the Util Pres light go on. I turn the battery on and no Util Pres light comes on. Pretty sad I'm failing on step 1. Any help? null

  11. Might seem a silly question but, how do you push buttons and flip switches in the back of the bird?
  12. i haven't made any changes to the default cfg. i ddin't even know one was there. this is untouched. weird, eh? only thing i've ever messed with was module-specific keybindings. in fact i just updated DCS so all of these files would have been overwritten anyway if they were modified

Any idea what I should do in this situation now?

  15. I've asked this before but solution. I have the dreaded red explanation mark for the CH-47F for only a singe command: camera transpose mode. As you can see there are no key bindings, and yet it's still red. What I'm trying to do is add mouse_btn2 to the command, but it's giving a red mark too. There are definitely no other commands tied to mouse_btn2. How do I fix this?

    this is such a weird comment. makes 0 sense. and completely irrelevant as the devs just added ffb support to the module today for...you guessed it...early access. no "coughing up 20-30 bucks" saw that right away. the devs definitely knew it was sorely needed and did the right thing. on the other note, you fly helos with a limp joystick? i find that hard to believe . it's one thing to turn off force trim (unsure why you'd do that) and another to have no centering force whatsoever (like the CH-47)

    what? not even sure what your comment means. the module is currently unflyable for ffb joystick users, price is irrelevant

    if it can simulate a helo trim, that would be a literal game changer for the CH-47. will have to experiment next time i'm home

    actual force trim? or is it simulated. like does the center position change based on the actual center positon in the helo?

  21. ah ok. yeah the ADF pointed me way out into the ocean where there happened to be both of these ships. i swear i had the correct ADF frequency in though. and when i approached the second ship the audio triggered and told me to land
  22. came here to second this. I'm on Routine Work and when I'm landing at the fence the voice audio is essentially unrecognizable. I have to read the text for everything. here are my audio settings: null
  23. UPDATE: ok I saw another ship a few miles away (the ADF was NOT pointing to it though) so I flew over, and triggered a message about landing on a ship. Ding-ding! found it, or so i thought. I landed perfectly on the ship, however the ship kept moving forward and my helicopter did not so it slid right off the back of the platform and ripped my skis off! i was able to takeoff before complete disaster. wtf is going on null
  24. My copilot said put in 440mhz ADF and it had me fly West right to this random ship out in the ocean but nothing happened when I got there. What am I missing? nullnull
