After the patch today I am doing some learning and potentially posting a video for our group. I use the track files to help put these videos together. A track I saved from an MP session will not play back properly. It starts out just fine, but things start to go wonky when taxiing to the runway and lineup on the runway (off center). Then when attacking first target, I am not where I actually was when I did the real run, and I turn to evade a missile straight into the ground (SEAD mission). I have read some reports of this with other aircraft as well (not with this patch, just in general) previously and they get fixed? Is this a known issue and awaiting a fix with the JF-17? I can provide the track in question if needed, as well as the tacview from the real flight.

[Collections] What you want to be able to bind in keyboard/device
hlfritz replied to uboats's topic in JF-17 Thunder
I searched this thread but did not find it, would like to have a speed brake toggle. press -> open, press again -> close. probably just device button is fine but perhaps one should be able to bind keyboard as well. i know this is not how it works in RL, but would still like this. EDIT: Actually I think T3 Down, Speed Brake, assigned to B key by default, will do it. Other aircraft have it labeled with a TOGGLE or CYCLE, so maybe add that to the command description? EDIT 2: How about a canopy open/close command? -
[OLD BUG REPORTS] Cleaning and Organization of old posts
hlfritz replied to RAZBAM_ELMO's topic in Resolved Bugs
further issue in the 1.1.1 manual. page 270, the caution statement says "In the M-2000C, the bomb release mode is determined by the bomb type. MK-82s, GBU-12, GBU-16 and GBU-24 all use CCRP through the BL (Bombes Lisses, Free fall bombs) master mode. MK-82SE, BLG-66 use CCIP through the BF (Bombes Freinées, High drag bombs) master mode" then on page 272 in the CCRP section, para. 3 states "This bombing mode is exclusive to Mk-82, BGL-66 and GBU series bombs." I believe the statement on page 272 regarding BGL-66 is the incorrect statement. -
I see this referenced in the manual on page 268, but it does not state how to activate it. I also find nothing about it in the chart starting on page 32, unless it is Super pointed STT active? I also found a question on this from 2018, but did not want to necro-post. Is flood mode implemented yet? As an aside, where/how to report issues in the manual?

Unfortunately it looks like only the GBU-24 is available for the Mirage and of course I do not have those other aircraft. :( Ah well, thx for replying in both threads QuiGon.

DCS - Nhawk's Weapons mod
hlfritz replied to nighthawk2174's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Here is the post with the code I have found: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3620704&postcount=20 happy to help test, just have to round up a buddy or two to lase for me. EDIT: Not sure what is easier - add the GBU-10 (with penetrators?) to the Mirage/F-14 (I think F-16 and F/A-18 already have GBU10) or add this guidance change to the GBU-24? Does the GBU-24 option then come with penetrators as well? The whole reason this is an issue is because we need some bunker-busting capabilities. :D -
interesting, i wonder why this is in resolved bugs then? or when in resolved bugs here it means "resolved" by Razbam to not be their issue?
-
is GBU 10 in game? available on F-14 (I do not know, do not have f-14, will ask group member). Mirage 2000 does not list GBU-10, only GBU-24. Need for bunker busting. :)

DCS - Nhawk's Weapons mod
hlfritz replied to nighthawk2174's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Thx nighthawk. I did see somewhere some code to add the Paveway II guidance to the GBU-24, basically categorizing it as a Paveway II instead of the III that it is. Thoughts on doing that? -
Thx QuiGon - do you know if there is any timeline to it? I mean, it is not that new, introduced in the early 80's and this issue has been apparent for years in DCS World. Also, IS it "on the list"? Thx again!

DCS - Nhawk's Weapons mod
hlfritz replied to nighthawk2174's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I know this seems to be mostly about missiles and guns, but since it is called a weapons mod I thought I would ask. Does it include a working GBU-24? It seems that the guidance system for the GBU-24 has been missing for years and ED still has not fixed this. Thx! -
GBU-24 is still not working, is that correct?
-
sorry, semi-necro post. is the gbu-24 working yet? i tried checking the open beta release notes thread and found nothing about the GBU-24 recently.

Apache600's Community Missions
hlfritz replied to Apache600's topic in User Created Missions General
Nice Apache! Thanks for updates. Are any of these persistent? Or, are any capable of being finished in a couple hours (i.e. one nights session)? -
I would just like to throw my hat in the ring for the MiG-29K, even if highly unlikely. We need a full fidelity to go with the new Kuznetsov, maybe they could scrap together a Gorshkov. That would be cool - Deka makes a Pakistani and then an Indian aircraft! And then a map! Maybe too close to recent history to consider though.

and further, in this 1.1.1 manual on page 11 in the Version section it states "The latest version of this manual is 1.1.0 (XX/11/2019)".
