For me, I haven't seen a reason to go for Virpil. VKB has well-tested products, and their base design is very well iterated now. The new addition of the dry clutch to the Gunfighter's design is very interesting to me as a supplement to traditional spring tension. Additionally, Virpil has not priced very competitively... not enough to make me pick the dark horse. If you have a Warthog grip on hand, it's a no-brainer. If not, that's another discussion.
