  1. FSX first, Black Shark second.
  2. Voted 'other'. I'd love to see a classic Mi-24 Hind, not Super Hind version.
  3. Great stuff. I'd add Dodosim Bell 206 if you like helicopters.
  4. There are few FSX addons that run externally, this is why I like FSX so much. You are not limited to what FSX SDK allows. I'm still tempted by 737 NGX, however I know I won't find time to learn that beast.
  5. If you want to rebuy 1946 go to the gog.com. http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/il_2_sturmovik_1946 You'll get DRM free version.
  6. Of course, but I was asking about terrain itself. You've developed some kind of editor for new maps terrain, or is it simple (or not so simple) mesh made in 3ds max?
  7. Does new terrain engine still require 3ds max to make a map?
  8. No. But I prefer Black Shark over Warthog though (runs for cover). I don't think FC3 is necessary unless it will bring new flyables (on a par with FC2 ones, maybe except Su-25T, I don't like the idea of complex simulation without clickable cockpit) or theatres.
  9. I'm going to buy both, TKOH and CH. I fly TakeOn Community Preview, and I'm happy with it, I like civilian sims, I like choppers, and I love Seattle map screenshots and videos. Keep in mind TKOH will have open architecture, just like Arma. I can see a lot of community mods.
  10. I did. :pilotfly:
  11. Meh.
  12. Please note there are two A2A P-51s we're talking about. Older model is already available for several years, and the next one is still in development. Older is not as realistic as Accusim Spitfire from the video I've posted earlier, but it was the best FSX could do at it's time. New one will be much better. Accusim is A2A proprietary module that runs outside of FSX, and is far above FSX engine and propeller simulation.
  13. Wags, is that the next DCS: US Fighter in your avatar? ;)
  14. No, I wasn't involved in Spitrire and P-47 development, but now I'm a full A2A team member, and I'm working with the team on the upcoming products.
  15. Thank you on behalf of our team. :)
  16. For complex engine management I'd suggest waiting for upcoming P-51 with Accusim, or take a look at Spitfire or P-47. Older P-51 is not as advanced as our latest releases. First of the four videos with P-47 management (additional three videos are available at our YouTube channel): Spitfire:
  17. This is going to be the first jet liner I'll buy.
  18. Me? Almost every your post contains 'FSX sucks donkey balls'. We already know you don't like it. Get over yourself. :music_whistling:
  19. Obvious troll is obvious. Why do you play FSX and buy all that stuff when you hate this game so much? I have never seen a single CTD in my FSX install.
  20. Really? I've tried preview and it wasn't that bad. I can land almost where I want (just a little more practice), and I don't think helicopter was out of my control. Control settings are weird, but when I've finally set them right it's really fun. Arma2 maps are really beautiful from the air, and it's possible to extend draw distance. I'm not a real life pilot though, but I've flown many helicopter sims like EECH, FSX with and without third party FM, DCS and XPlane. Community preview sold me Take On concept, I'll certainly buy this sim at day one.

+1 I'd love to see bigger maps too, but I'll buy CH at day one anyway. They don't claim their sim will be DCS quality, they rather want to make a simulation game in similar fashion to old sims where gameplay and fun were as important as true vehicle simulation. Flexman is known person since Longbow 2 days, and I trust he will deliver a good product.
  22. According to their site it's for PC only - Windows/Linux.
  23. Spring is not over yet.
  24. Seattle map is about 61x61km, South Asia map is 120x120km. Looks like they improved the engine.
  25. Looks good, but I know I don't have enough time to master that bird :/ It's tempting though.
