I'm just learning the SA Page. In the bottom/right corner it has the Target info. The BRA only shows Bearing and Range (no Alt)?

Not sure what you are saying... The 'Save Snapview' keys are RAlt+Np0 AFAIK. And that does not work.

Snapviews are only internal in the cockpit AFAIK..

With the F4 Look Back View (specifically I'm using the Hornet right now..) is it possible to save your view so it always starts in the position that you customize wit the RCtrl+RShift+ Numpad 4,6,8,2 keys? It's a pain to setup a nice view, then go back into the cockpit (F1), and loose that view. You have to reposition the f4 view every time you use it. :joystick:

I would not update the firmware unless I had a reason. Surely not just because "it's time". If you have things working how you want, leave it alone. I have updated 3-4 times to fix things. Just tested it with the FA18 and P-51 in the OB. Works for me. Have you tried a game repair?

I'm going to have to finally try my old A10a night mission where I drop night flares to light up the battlefield and kill a bunch of tanks. What is the status of the FPS VR Performance Optimization? Is ED still working on the FPS improvement for VR that was set for release to BETA a few weeks ago? The last mention of VR Performance Optimization in the Beta Update logs was 6/5. What is the current status on this?

In v 1.8.0.1 & 2, I also do not have the Systray icon. I do have the Taskbar icon. I have run both versions .1 and .2 with and without Admin. My old version 1.7.0.5 works fine except for the F-14 kneeboards. It has the Systray icon and does not close the app when minimized. When minimized, the SysTray icon is still there and works fine. I have looked in my Event Viewer and there is no info on a crash for KBB or anything at the time it is started to when it is minimized. Very strange..

1.8.0.1 I don't see the KBB icon in the SysTray. Is there a new/different way to set the Kneeboard Profile? And when I minimize the KBB main window, the icon in the Taskbar disappears, and the program is gone. It should just minimize, correct? Snacko PS: in the Preferences, what does 'Enable user mods aircraft' do exactly? I don't see it in the Help pdf.

Thanks, I had not seen this mod before. So, this is not just a new cockpit texture? It's more than that?? I noticed that the DDI font is clear now. Is that from this mod? And I also noticed when diving and fireing the AG guns I sometimes get a blurry mirage in the HUD. Is that something with this mode, or something I just never noticed in the FA18 before? Yes, and if you use Notepad++ you can download an additional Plugin for comparing files that shows you exactly what lines were Added, Deleted, and Changed. Very useful for finding out exactly what any mod is doing. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

I have no problems with this tool for a long time. I just let Dcs do its update. After it's done I simply run KBB and apply/save the Preferences again, and then set the profile that I want from the Systray icon. And everything works fine. First, what I do is move my stick around and see where I naturally move it. Sometimes you may notice that you don't naturally move it to the extremes. I want the aircraft to fly with what my natural movements are. For me, I don't usually push my stick more than 80%, so I consider that movement my 100% and try to make the plane react as if I press it all the way(100%). Then, I 'Create Fast Mission' and make it an Start from: Airborne. Then when I am in the cockpit I press Esc and select Adjust Controls and tweak the Axis Curve; Deadzone; what ever you want, and test it out. Everybody does it differently, that's just my 2 cents. I think the default zoom is what the mission was saved with.. Mission builders don't think about zooming out when they save because they are usually zoomed in, working on details. You can edit the mission and save it zoomed out if you want.. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

This was reported over 1 and a half years ago on 12-01-2017! In Razbam's Bug Tracker this has the highest priority and says it's in "Test". It's been in "Test" for probably 7-8 months. This is a joke.:mad:
