I'm pumped as the guy said above I can't wait for the ton of ka50 content to be switched to hinds.. it all won't fit but most will. I own the ka50. I don't know why but I just can't enjoy her. I just don't like her; nevermind it bothers me a bit knowing there's all of a handful irl and they use the ka52 much more which to me is more appealing. But the ka50 I just.. idk I don't like the looks or feel of her. The hind I've always had a love affair with. I'll be glad there's finally another attack helo. I'm not even going to dignify the gazelle by going into it

The mustangs critical alt then is around 14k where I get lowest performance and 15k something the blower kicks in.. As far as the propeller. When people discuss prop pitch are they discussing the RPMs of the prop?? Does higher RPMs always equal more power or are there times where having lower RPMs with high throttle produces more speed?

I noticed on the vids the Raduga sight (I assume) panning around under the chin of the helo has 'doors' that seem to cover and protect it. What do they open only when it's in use to protect it? Anyone have info on it? They seemed to open and close several times

Idk guys this isn't lookin bad at all. 2 vids this week. Id been guessing on late june; I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be delighted with the next couple weeks. All that said more than anything else on Wags videos; I want to see how Petrovich turned out. I'll be getting the hind either way but I'm somewhat nervous. It's still too early to tell from the videos but I did worriedly try to remember how early into F14 vids I could already hear jester. Jester was so active iirc he could be heard before they even got to that. I guess we will see. Heatblur set the bar high that's for sure. Jester is far far from perfect but when you remember nothing like him had been done and see what he still can do it's damned impressive.

I agree. Don't know what it is exactly but I have a firm feeling this will be a pretty solid release and module. It also doesn't hurt that the mi24 is one of the darlings of Russian mil aviation enthusiasts. I think with some legendary planes there's a real desire to do them justice. Like the F14. I feel our Russian friends won't disappoint on this module I think you're spot on. The biggest problem in this by far and also perhaps major problem for the hind to be flown in realistic scenarios is the AIs machine like accuracy

That's a excellent idea. Pm me if you get any good stuff. Also if you're interested we could collab and make a simple series of missions that people could use for training. (I.e. like make an map with several choose able hinds. One cold dark one hot start one air start. Some different targets etc. Some ships to practice landing on (just for the difficulty - you need to have a good hand to land on a moving ship)

No - we knew the diff between alt and not alt for the 2 radios. SRS would work but we had the damndest time with the tankers specifically. If anyone wants to do a test flight and Ill Rio to get a track and see if the problems still there lmk PS yes yes and yes Draconus. I had discussed this last summer and fall never got an answer. We knew all that stuff (that's all radio basics). It just would not work. We even ditched me in the seat and manually tried using Jester to do it; manually entered and not; all that jazz. I haven't flown Rio in months but this post and nothing in changelings makes me suspect the issue is still there. I'd really like to know what if anything we were doing wrong. This wasn't a one flight thing either

I'm sure it's me as well but when I was flying mp as a backseater a lot last summer I had the same issues online. Very specifically constantly with tankers and atc too often.

That's a really good point too. I otherwise probably would really prefer flying the Dora; I've never been a big A8 guy in any sim. The lack of content would be an issue though; I got a few other a/c that suffer that issue. The original p51 campaign is godawful for example. With what you and art said I doubt I'll go for the D unless I just love flying it that much when it's free to play. Now I need to perhaps narrow this down between Anton/Kurfurst. Idk why but I never really liked K4 me109s. If it was a 109 F4 I'd have fallen for it.

I just flew it and thought it was almost to easy. One aim 54 for each mig one definitely got hit. The other supposedly fled. I got distracted trolling the Syrian AD after that so idk

I think the HVAA is called night hunter. It should be stock. It should be a 2/3 hr mission. Hit tanker go stealthily into Iran to down a HVAA.
