  1. OMG. First and foremost I'm not asking ANY CM anything, it was a reply for another user. He's the community manager and he's doing his job well.
  2. This is not BS and second it's his job to answer to each one until we have an official communication from ED. We don't have any news from ED since 2 months, 04/04/24
  3. Calm down, you need to take a brake of the forum. I'm not asking him for an update of the situation, I know it very well. I was talking about "dispute becoming public has damaged reputations" as if the community would never notice the lack of updates in all Razbam modules, is disrespectful to the community. Public or not it would be the same.
  4. Public or not it would affect it anyway, or you believe that months without updates would go unnoticed by the community? This is a disrespectful comment.
  5. As I said it before, this problem was for a military simulation. We don't have anything to do with it but ED doesn't pay Razbam and then Razbam doesn't update their modules and WE (the customers) are having problems in a game which nothing has to do with the military simulation. So who's is keeping the the customers as hostages in the end? ED refunds only the F-15E for store credit so they don't lose the money, they won't pay Razbam anyway and Razbam won't update the modules for free. I just wanted to play with the F-15E, this is sad.
  6. And they will work for ever.
  7. Razbam is the 3rd party developer with the most amount and modern modules in DCS. You said it, there's a legal dispute and now the DCS ecosystem is showing its problems. It's the second time now and this time is way bigger than just a training aircraft. We can lose important modules and future developments, meanwhile ED does not mention in these situations what will happen with the modules of any 3rd party developer in a similar situation. I don't know which company is right and I don't care too much either but the business model has a really big hole for the customers. ED needs to address this. Usas google translator? porque no se te entiende nada.
  8. We can see how fragile the DCS ecosystem is.
  9. I believe any 3rd party which stay away from the military simulation side is "safe". As far as I know there're no other 3rd party of DCS doing military simulation other than Razbam. Some people believe nothing will happen to Heatblur. I believe they do expensive but good products and most of their sales are because they have the best marketing of DCS but I believe they (or any other 3rd party dev) aren't invulnerable to a contract dispute. Is the second time this happened for this game and it can happen again. The business model is prone to this disputes. I agree it would be nice to know if ED could maintain the modules for the lifetime of DCS.
  10. It's enough for a change in the chosen one.
  11. Something will happen, small or big we don't know but something will happen. It won't be the end of DCS though.
  12. No one knows the future of the modules until ED say so.
  13. You assume Razbam is wrong and ED is right. I don't because I don't know, WE don't know. We don't know what happened, even if Razbam breached the contract how do you know Heatblur, Deka or whatever 3rd party will not also breach the contract. The business model of ED is prone to these problems.
  14. It affects ED/DCS as a whole, this is beyond Razbam. This situation can happen with ANY other 3rd party developer and the reputation of ED is at stake.
  15. So you say people would not be talking after 4 months without ANY update from Razbam modules. For you as for ED it would be better to hide the problem instead to keep the customers informed.
  16. The problem is Razbam is not receiving the money, since a LONG time. We know since Razbam said that and ED didn't negate it.
  17. If Razbam made a mistake and breached the contract, why ED didn't say it to their customers to warn them for a posible problem with the refunds and future development?. In the future we may not have anymore the F-15E nor the money, if that's the case I will not put any more cash in the ED store ever. In 2 week it will be 1 year since the release of the F-15E.
  18. ED will not refund the money spent on their store. You signed it when purchasing from their store. This same situation can happen with any other 3rd party developer.
  19. I never experienced this. The helicopter is very stable, unless you land on the grass and then it could go very wrong on take off. I never used trim reset, it all depends on how you landed and how many times you trim the aircraft
  20. I agree with this. Imagine if Razbam didn't say a thing, what would happened in these 4 months without any notification and module updates.
  21. This thread was made before the audio reduction. Razbam made the cockpit sounds to hear them like in helmet. It's different from Heatblur which makes the sounds intended without that option. Also you can put the AC in manual and put it on low.
  22. I agree, the F-15E is the aircraft that best suits my playstyle. In my group there're lots of players who like to fly coop and not having the F-15E is a big problem.
  23. Copy paste doesn't work. Quality transfer also doesn't apply.
