They work but without updates since 5 months. And the F-15E is not working as it should since it needs a lot of of development, I don't fly just to drop a bomb or shoot a missile. Other 3rd parties will never know what exactly did Razbam.
-
Very low texture resolution map and low poly mesh, looks terrible. The google maps textures are not well suited for a game like this.
-
ED confirmed they stopped paying Razbam, what we don't know is why. ED says because Razbam breached the contract. P.S.: Oh, sorry I didn't understand, I also want some explanation since this can happen with any other module/3rd Party Developer

Yes we need to be able to set the precipitation chance and humidity for all weather presets.

Is there a Time-on-Target mode for the Apache?
Ignition replied to durka-durka's topic in DCS: AH-64D
I was also looking for this but since I didn't find anything I've made my own spreadsheet for TOT, its not hard to do. Remember 1NM at 1Knot = 1Hr, Distance/Speed = Time. Calculate delta Time (in minutes) from destination time - actual time, then (distance (NM) / delta Time) * 60 = knots you need to fly Since I know the rough estimate of FuelFlow, I also calculate the consumption and remaining fuel. -
I agree, @Notso did an amazing job showing how the things work IRL and showing some techniques. You can't see much of these stuff on DCS and I appreciate it a lot. He's a reference for me on discord, when I had to know something specific that it wasn't in the manual or how it is IRL I searched for his comments there, and watched his videos. The F-15E has an amazing simulation of the AA and AG radar and also the TGP, plus it has a functioning IFF and it is very well integrated in the AA radar. It's VERY good when flying in multicrew and its a shame this great aircraft is suffering from all this. Razbam were doing GREAT things for this aircraft and more than worthy in DCS. Personally I'm waiting for the resume in development to go back to this incredible aircraft. In the meantime I'm dedicated to the AH-64D which is another great aircraft but a totally different mission.

I come from the future and I tell you that the 3rd of July patch was delayed indefinitely. We're still waiting anxiously.
-
The DCS AH-64D is really easy to fly, I only experienced some issue with yaw while hovering, or more importantly when I engage the autopilots while doing a very stable hover, the helicopter goes crazy sometimes so I'm not using the AP very much. Apart from these issues the helicopter is very predictable.

I understand but It's not a loss, as I've said it they will earn less but they don't lose money. It's not like they need to buy raw materials to create a new product to sell. It's just an exchange of service. Razbam in the other hand will lose 100% since they invested the money and resources to create the product. Additionally, the pros of this actions from ED supurases the cons, they wouldn't do it if they weren't!

The shaking head also happens in the AH-64D. There's no official announcement yet. Only the CM said all the previous modules from Razbam will be OK but that's not an official announcement until ED says it. Also we don't know whats the reach of an "OK" means. After 3 months we don't know what will happen with the modules in the worst case scenario. And this situation could go on for a very long time, I hope only for good news at the end. I was waiting for the F-15E for so many years and now that we got it this happens.
-
Yes, but ED doesn't lose money, they may earn less but they have the money beforehand plus the money from Razbam, so... Also if ED is doing this is because the balance goes this way for them and surpasses their loses.
-
ED is not losing money for refunds since they don't refund the money but store credit. They just have money paid beforehand so ED has a lot of credit now.
-
The F-15E has the best image simulation of TGP of any other aircraft.
-
I would rather don't lose anyone.
-
A bit late. If the flag was set to true and you had a trigger "once" with conditions "flag is true" and "random" it will check each second for that random to be true since the flag already is true and it will execute the action without fail.
-
Well, it's time for an official communication about this for the worse case scenario.
-
When I say DCS I mean us the players of course. ED clearly doesn't care since they would have said and/or react different after these months of silence. DCS it's just a small fraction of this chaos.
-
I don't think it works like that. More like DCS will lose the Av8 M2K and F-15E.
-
No, official updates should be an official communication, not a post on the forum. I'm also concerned by this. I'm afraid the F-15E will never be the aircraft it was going to be. I was very happy with the quality of the F-15E and knowing it was going to be better in the future.
-
After more than 2 months ED didn't mention ANYTHING, not even "we're still talking". There's no official announcement about refunds, we need to read this thread to know about it from posts of the CM.
-
Razbam were giving updates for the F-15E with good faith for many months. I don't know why they should fix the aircraft now.
-
I read about certificates since I don't know either. The files need to be certified and get encrypted for safety so the files don't get altered but that certificate needs to be renewed. So more and more things will get broken as time pass.
-
Ummm, can you explain to me how is ED fixing the Razbam modules without the actual code? Also ED knows what's the problem but didn't say what problem is. Especially in this period where there're rumors for everything, why ED doesn't say the problem is this or that.
-
OK I agree, I'm not diminishing their work but it just not for a nobel as the other user mentioned. It's their job, they are doing well. If ED come with an official response then the CM just could link to that response instead. Imagine if the CM just went angry for any user that ask the same question over and over BECAUSE there's no official news.
