So, it wouldn't matter after all since we're here with wild guesses and conspiracies. Why so much hate for Razbam when they were telling their customers what they were going to do with something so important for us, like keeping their modules updated and completing a recently released module? Just because ED say so doesn't mean is the best for the community.
-
Because after 8 months of not having a single patch from Razbam we would know. But you as ED think the community wouldn't care.

I've used it a LOT for years also. and the Ka-50. Great aircrafts yes but I already have many hours like in the F-16. In fact when Razbam stopped the development the A-10CII was one of my options but after so many years flying it I discarded it after a few days or trying. Then I went back to the F-18C but I don't like the way it flies. Some people just want to fly a random aircraft each day but I only fly 1 aircraft for some years until I develop my own tactics, then I move to another . That's why its difficult for me to chose the right thing. The F-15E was the best choice since it has a lot of tools/systems and multicrew. It is what it is and DCS is not offering much for me now.
-
I already learned the F-16C after 4 years flying it. The next was going to be the F-15E. No there's no other aircraft which I enjoy to learn. I'm flying the AH-64D since the development of the F-15E stopped but it's just a temporary solution. That video is one of the worst of that channel.
-
I would buy Falcon 5 if Razbam makes the F-15E there. The F-15E was the best aircraft for DCS for me, now I don't have too many reasons to fly.

You can delete these files and the game will be playable. For multiplayer is easy, 1 livery default for all the liveries you don't have.
-
It is inevitable when there's bad development. Why waste 50-100GB of space when you don't need them. These files aren't part of the core game.

Hi, some places have very noticeable polygon textures. https://i.imgur.com/Pm1yqLc.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/bbKH3GO.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/jGSLAbH.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/KyAnU8h.jpeg These places are in the northern part of the map, around Minakh. I don't know if there's more.

In the F-16C I can clearly see statics and vehicles at 60nm, when getting closer all the scenery pop up making it harder to find any targets.

IRL pretty much any mission needs to do at least 1 AAR, so yes it would make DCS missions more realistic for all the people who can't do AAR right now. AAR is one of the most difficult things to do in an aircraft, even more in a simulator and not everyone has the time to train for that or are not skilled enough or don't have the right equipment. It took me several days of training exclusively AAR in the F-18C, every single day until I could do it regularly and then much more time for perfection. When I transitioned to the F-16C it took me less time but it was REALLY different and then the same when transitioned to the F-15E. The time and effort to train this is big. It's very hard and I see why people want a "helper". The radios are MUCH more simple to manage than AAR and the easy radios can be disabled, I don't see why this couldn't have an option also.
-
Kind off-topic but I still remember YEARS ago when ED said they were making new drogue physics, LOL An option for easy AAR would be a very nice addition, I wouldn't use it but I see a moderate portion of the players would. Also it would make the missions realistic.
-
And I see moderators not moderating.
-
People complain about complainers and then they post off-topic. Why do you even read the thread.
-
Read the OP, not difficult and it was available for 5 months now.

This type of refund is damage control for a defective business model. ED expected the community to stay still and silent all this time, 7 months without updates for all Razbam modules. I don't know who's right or not, but I appreciate Razbam to communicate their intentions. Imagine 7 months of complete silence without any module update.
-
I kept it. Also I'm not buying anything else until the F-15E resumes its development and I can trust ED again.
-
DCS needs GPS/Radio Jammers
-
The pros for ED of this situation and the future is outweighing the loses, except for the community. This wouldn't be happening if it weren't beneficial for ED.

How long is the INU alignment supposed to take?
Ignition replied to CrazyGman's topic in DCS: AH-64D
The INS is still not fully simulated? -
Are we there yet? ED, I WANT MY F-15E to have regularly UPDATES! as it should since it's an EA module without updates since 5 7 months. I still have the module waiting for you to resolve this issue. This model is not safe for the consumer, find another one, thanks.

user resolved Variometer inaccurate in forward flight
Ignition replied to ShuRugal's topic in Bugs and Problems
I had variometer issues when the aircraft couldn't align properly with GPS, for example when being in the red team and didn't have the SATNAV option enabled in the mission editor. But that is expected as far as I know. -
I care very much for the F-15E, in fact is the only aircraft in DCS I truly care.
-
The liveries for the F-14 (specially the A) and many other aircrafts are a waste of space in my case. ED and Heatblur are very bad in space optimization. I lose at least 30GB in aircrafts I never use.
-
Worst case is losing the Razbam modules. Razbam said they will not update any module until ED pays them. Negotiations can take several months/years. I wouldn't count neither in Razbam or ED for the affected modules, I just consider them lost. This is a big issue in the way ED handles the DCS franchise and I am very cautious now for what and when I buy. Razbam may be the only one wrong here but in the end it is an ED product. No, the last and only mention from ED was 4 months ago. And only because Razbam talked.
-
The main problem here for us, the people who want to just buy and play a video game about combat aircraft simulation, is that ED mixes a game with military grade contract stuff. We don't have anything to do with that stuff. Why we, the consumers of a game, also have to pay for a presumed IP infringement made by a 3rd party developer. If the contract said ED could held the money and not pay it was also saying I will hurt the community and I don't care. It should've been resolved in other way because this is not only between ED and Razbam, its also involving thousands of other people. The business model of ED is not fine.
