Never heard of hangar.. but interest to hear, not to forget the bad apples as history seemingly repeat it self. We can get caught up in the hype. I remember 10 years back I bought a game called operation Flashpoint dragon rising. It was supposed To be sequel to Flashpoint. But it turned out to be a flub, dropped 60$ for something only played for a week. I mean I was from codemasters, which had a good reputation. Anyways mrdetroit is just sharing two cents to find what he wants so ed can be a better product, just keep voice in a positive way..all good, we love ED!

after seeing Nick Grey interview.. and watching the events of the recently release and cancelled game "The Day Before" made me realize more how lucky i am, and i think how lucky we are to have Eagle Dynamics. 1) Mr Nick Grey.. this dude flies real planes. i mean, he can easily just bat an eye on simulators.. but he continues to share the passion of planes being involved in DCS. 2) "The Day Before" was a game that was based on investor funding, which ppl who have nothing to do with gaming, at least from news that i have seen. this project ended up being a scam which ppl paid for and then a week later they pulled the plug on this game. as much as we complain how ED aren't doing something things, but i feel like they do other things, things that just take time. thank you and keep doing what u are doing, ED and all the 3rd party guys.

Checking out DCS Open Beta 2.9.1.48335 what a pleasant surprise! now the Mi8MTV2 doorgun slew finally has joystick binds i did a test of the full doorgun experience with the hip kord.. joystick working perfectly, toggle decouple aiming is functional, and as always simshake comes thru to provide some shake effects for the bass shaker i have attached to the joystick that resembles a a pistol grip with a pintle base. IT IS WORKING PERRRFECTLY! Thanks @Flappie to checking on this and forward this feature. awesome to have joystick controlled doorguns working on the HUEY, HIND, and now the HIP!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE ONLY QUESTION I HAVE IS THAT ON THE MI-8, HOLDING DOWN THE FIRE BUTTON, I ONLY CAN GET BURST SHOTS... BUT ON THE MI24, I CAN HOLD DOWN FOR CONTINOUS FULL AUTOMATIC KORD FIRE...

ever since i first bought Matrox triplehead2go to get three screens back in lomac days, i never thought i would achieve this level of immersion in a software. Much thanks goes out to luckey palmer who pioneered the first commercially retail available Virtual Reality Headset Thanos who makes a hardware controller to run motion platforms, Youtube who allow me to learn about 3d printing so i can make customer joysticks but it is DCS World that ties all these things together to reproduce this experience. THank you Wags, BigNewy, PilotMi8, @Flappie and the ED team...

over the weekend, i gave my friend the ultimate gaming experience made possible by DCS World. i think i spend half my free time on this sim, whether learning DCS topics on youtube, flying on line, or building cool stuff that actually functions with DCS. my friend had a blast, this a video i made. https://youtu.be/xtjF2rIwHtk ONLY POSSIBLE because of Eagle Dynamics! many thanks...

i dont know i just see 91 wav files.. ok, now i just realize i should concentrate on the aviator were it lists what sounds each aircraft is used. also, i didnt account for files for FS2020 i will be doing some audacity work to separate the waveforms to better suit my setup. i just want to make sure i dont cut out waveforms in certain channels that should be there left right and middle are clear, do you have a notation for FRONT and BACK for the wav files? or is DCS not that complicated compared to a car simulator with effects for each wheel.. -

hey @=Andre= @f4l0 is there a list somewhere that details each sound? im planning to make custom sound files based from the default sounds i specifically like to know which sounds purpose what sounds are ideal in a 6 speaker (5.1) setup. its hard to tell by file name to see which wav files are intend to go FRONT LEFT or FRONT RIGHT for example... of the few wav files i have opened in audacity (and by using the test feature of sound module application) i can see what speaker it goes to, but i dont know in my opinion what sounds should be for specific speaker like FRONT LEFT for example if there is any suggestion i can designate each wav file's purpose in a 6 channel (5.1) setup, that would be helpful @=Andre= you made this post a while back.. and it was a clear explaination https://forum.dcs.world/topic/120869-simshaker-for-dcs-world-sound-mode-expansion-discussion/?do=findComment&comment=4858080 im wondering if you can explain more about what wav files are for front and back ( your explanation is clear about left and right) L means left R means right M means both (or all 6 channels ??) what does 1, 2 , RM RL LM LH mean?
