  5. To my knowledge and in my experience AI Aircraft cannot AAR....unless I am missing something. They usually return to an Airbase when they start to run out of fuel. Formation flying I can cover and that will be the next video.

  7. Try setting your modulation to AM instead of FM and it should work as I have tested this in OpenBeta on the Normandy map, with no issues. I don't believe there is an option for FM on the aircraft in question.

  13. For your first option to work correctly you will need to add a "NAME" to the transmission as per the image below: :thumbup: (I called mine RADIO in this example)
  14. Hi BlacleyCole, Glad the Video's are proving useful and thanks for watching them. 1). ANSWER: Once a unit is destroyed within DCS it cannot be reactivated which is where scripting makes a difference and overcomes this problem. So using a "SWITCHED CONDITION" will not help here as the ME cannot find anything to respawn, as it no longer exists. My video's are aimed more at Mission Editor functionality and not having to use scripting. 2).ANSWER: I could do a video covering this element but also, Fee's image post above does demonstrate the process for AI quite nicely. The thing to bear in mind is that the flight pattern of the Huey cannot be impacted through the editor once it starts to engage units...... so it will do its own thing until it's attack tasking is complete. Unless of course you decide to implement a very convolute set of triggers to attack then fly to a waypoint on a rinse and repeat basis. Cheers

  17. In my experience the Grass Airfields do not work presently, I know it's WIP but it has been for quite a while. There appear to be some placement issues that need to be ironed out. There are mods out there that work to a degree but placement is not easy because of the map limitations mentioned above. Patience is required to find a suitable location but when you do it works quite nicely.

  21. No fee that's not quite correct.... there are two very distinct and separate elements to that Mod. One does change out the in game FARP and has to be loaded via JSGME. It only allows the rearm and refuel to take place of helos when the mod is activated. The second does not need the FARP element activated to work and contains all the additional models that can be placed in game. It is placed in the saved games folder. Cheers. :thumbup:
  22. I find the Russia Editor Icon Style easier to use when mission building. In your options under "GAMEPLAY" select Russia from the drop down list for "Editor Icon Style" and you will see the difference. I hope that helps...Cheers :thumbup:

  24. The Water placement mod is just that the ability to place infantry units in a water location and contains no models. It was designed for placing troops for a beach landing but works well for oil rigs too. The medics can be found here in the mission editor when the HARRIER mod has been activated: Upuaut made some excellent medical tent and ambulance mods quite a while ago so I recommend doing a search for those. I think the ambulance was part of his Wolf vehicle mod. To my knowledge there are no medical staff mods...Doctors etc. I made this MASH Unit for PG Map, using them.
